What does it mean to live like the royal being you were created to be? On this week's episode of The Seth Leibson Show, Rabbi Pinchas Allouche joins Seth in studio for a wide-ranging and deeply moving conversation rooted in the Torah portion Re'eh — "See."Drawing on the life and teachings of his beloved mentor, the legendary Rabbi Adin Steinsaltz — whom Time Magazine called "a once-in-a-millennium scholar" — Rabbi Allouche shares unforgettable lessons on how to find a true mentor, why action leads the heart more than feeling does, and what it truly means to be humble. They explore the eternal battle between the body and the soul, the life-changing power of a single smile, and why perspective may be the most important skill any of us can cultivate. The episode closes with a timely message for the month of Elul: go inward, search honestly, and discover the divine spark waiting to guide you — because like the son of King Louis XVI, when temptation calls, the answer is simply: "I was born to be a king."A conversation that is at once intellectually rich and deeply human — don't miss it.Rabbi Pinchas Allouche is the Founding Rabbi of Congregation Beth Tefillah in Scottsdale, Arizona. Through timeless Torah wisdom and practical life lessons, he inspires listeners to live with greater faith, purpose, and joy. Democratic socialism is on the rise both in America and in the West in general. But what exactly is democratic socialism and why is it so attractive to so many people, particularly young people, today? Listen as Darrell Harrison and Virgil "Omaha" Walker exposit the core tenets of democratic socialism and discuss through the lens of the Word of God why democratic socialism is more than a dangerous economic theory but is actually worse, it is a false gospel offering a false salvation.ResourcesDemocratic Socialists of America websiteYoung Democratic Socialists of America websitePublic Education - The Just Thinking podcastVictimhood Culture - The Just Thinking podcastSupportTo support the podcast, please click here or copy/paste the following link into your browser — https://justthinking.me/support/Disclaimer© Darrell B. 2) משיחת יום ג' פ' ראה, כ"ו מנחם-אב ה'תשמ"ה, לחברי הכולל "תפארת זקנים, לוי יצחק" ו"חכמות נשים" – שיחיו ל"הנחה פרטית" או התרגום ללה"ק של השיחה: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=04-08-2026 Synopsis (1) Shelishi of parashas Re'eh states, “You must follow Hashem your G-d…and cleave to Him”: By following Hashem's ways as set forth in His Torah, and inspiring other Jews to do the same (out of Ahavas Yisroel, which mirrors Hashem's ways, as Rashi explains), one not only becomes close to Hashem, but attached to Hashem – which brings additional blessing upon a person and his entire family. (2) A general lesson from the third day of the week, when “It was good” was said twice, is the principle of “good for Heaven and good for mankind”: a Jew must occupy himself with Torah and mitzvos (“good for Heaven”), and also help other Jews around him (“good for mankind”). And a lesson from shelishi of parashas Re'eh in particular, which warns the Jewish people not to imitate the nations surrounding them: Although the Jewish people are “the fewest of all the nations,” they must not learn from the ways of the nations. Hashem placed the Jewish people among the other nations in order for them to reveal the power of their simple faith that “You have chosen us from among all the nations,” and in this way they merit Hashem's blessings, as well as the respect of the nations, as Hashem has blessed us in this country.Excerpts from sichos of (1) Tuesday, 23 Menachem-Av 5744, and (2) Tuesday, 26 Menachem-Av 5745, to Kollel Tiferes Zekeinim Levi Yitzchok For a transcript in English of the Sicha: https://thedailysicha.com/?date=04-08-2026 לזכות ר' שניאור זלמן בן חוה לאה וזוגתו מרת שיינא בת חנה שיחיו ליום הנישואין שלהם ביום כ"א מנחם-אבלברכה והצלחה בכל הענינים לאויוש"ט*לזכות שטערנא שרה בת חי'ה רחל שתחי' ליום ההולדת שלה כ"א מנחם-אבלשנת ברכה והצלחה רבה ומופלגה בכל בגו"ר מתוך בריאות נכונה ומנוחת הנפש והגוףנדבת בעלה ר' חיים ברוך שי' אלבסקי

Were Adam and Eve beyond forgiveness after they sinned in the Garden of Eden? In this episode of the Relentlessly Biblical Podcast, we explore Genesis 3 and examine an important theological question in Scripture: Did God forgive Adam and Eve after the fall? This conversation walks through the nature of sin, the consequences of disobedience, the purpose of the Tree of the Knowledge of Good and Evil, and the first promise of redemption in Genesis chapter 3. The discussion highlights God's holiness, justice, mercy, patience, and grace, showing how the fall of Adam and Eve points forward to the gospel of Jesus Christ. The hosts also compare humanity's need for redemption with the rebellion of Satan and fallen angels, explaining why forgiveness is offered to mankind through Christ. From Adam and Eve's shame and hiding to God's merciful response, this episode shows that Scripture reveals a God who desires relationship, exposes sin, and provides hope through the promised Redeemer. If you have ever wondered whether Adam and Eve were forgiven, why God allowed the fall, or how Genesis 3 connects to the gospel, this episode offers a Scripture-centered answer rooted in the character of God and the redemptive work of Christ.Welcome to The Relentlessly Biblical™ Podcast. After spending more than three decades trying to suppress his sexuality, David Anderson reached a point where he could no longer ignore who he truly was. Raised in a conservative Southern Baptist environment, he prayed for years that being gay would simply disappear while building what appeared to be the perfect life—a 35-year marriage, four children, ministry, and a successful career. In this deeply honest conversation, David shares the emotional cost of living behind a mask, the difficult decision to come out at 57, navigating a collaborative divorce, rebuilding relationships with his children, and discovering unexpected joy after embracing his authentic self. He also reflects on faith, family, finding love with his husband Peter, and why authenticity transformed every area of his life. This episode is a powerful reminder that while coming out later in life is never easy, it's never too late to live honestly—and to find happiness you never thought possible.Takeaways1. Authenticity is worth the risk. After decades of trying to suppress who he was through faith, counseling, and sheer determination, David discovered that the freedom of living authentically transformed every area of his life—not just his relationships, but his confidence, career, and sense of self. 2. Coming out later in life affects the whole family—but healing is possible. David speaks candidly about navigating a collaborative divorce, supporting his former wife through the transition, rebuilding relationships with his children, and recognizing that everyone's journey toward acceptance unfolds on its own timeline. 3. Fear is often bigger than reality. For years, David believed coming out would destroy everything he loved. While the journey wasn't easy, he ultimately found deeper relationships, unexpected support, and a level of joy he never imagined possible. As he reflects, “All the fears… were not nearly as big as you thought.” Sound Bites“I prayed harder to not be gay than I've ever prayed for anything else.”“I spent years making myself smaller and smaller… until I became just a shadow of me.”“The biggest thing I gained after coming out? Me.”“All the fears were real—but they were never as big as I thought.”“I thought I was committed to marriage. Today, I'm committed to Peter.”“Everything got better. Everything."“What people loved was the person I was pretending to be.” “I didn't choose to be gay. Lebanese President Joseph Aoun met US President Donald Trump in Washington this week with a historic proposal: end the war between Lebanon and Israel, force an Israeli withdrawal from the south, and disarm Iran's proxy group Hezbollah. Could it work? On today's bonus episode of Iran: the Latest, Venetia Rainey speaks to Lama Amine, arts director at local charity Seenaryo, about the reality for civilians caught up in the conflict in Lebanon, how people are worried the latest escalation in Iran will spillover, and why Hezbollah would just be replaced by a similar group if it was disarmed. Plus, first-person accounts of what it's like to live under the shadow of war. Excerpts from pieces written for Seenaryo by Syrian refugee Eman Fisal Almodhi, read by Irish actor Jessie Buckley, and a WhatsApp conversation between Lebanese women displaced in south Lebanon, read by British-Lebanese-Palestinian actor Sirine Saba. The Puritan Ezekiel Hopkins (1634-1692) said, "We must learn that the glory of God is to be preferred before all other things.” It is in keeping with those words from Ezekiel Hopkins that Darrell Harrison and Virgil "Omaha" Walker have endeavored to address the almost ineffable topic of The Majesty of God. True to the expositional tradition of the Just Thinking podcast, Darrell and Virgil look to Scripture, as well as trusted Puritan and contemporary theologians, to remind followers of Jesus Christ of God's incomparable majesty and, as Ezekiel Hopkins rightly stated, that the glory of the God in whom they profess to believe is to be preferred above all other things. On October 30, 1975, fifteen-year-old Martha Moxley failed to return home after a night out with friends in Belle Haven, an exclusive wealthy enclave in Greenwich, CT. The following morning, Moxley's badly beaten body was discovered underneath a tree, just a few hundred feet from her house, triggering one of the most notorious murder mysteries in the state's history.
