There are not too many kids who have overcome what Gabe has. In this episode, Gabe talks about the car accident that changed his life and how he handled and continues to handle challenges and disappointments. He is an inspiration to all of us and brings perspective to life. He is thoughtful and introspective. This guy is a real hero.

Can you think of a group of kids that got hosed more than the graduating class of 2021. We all thought the class of 2020 sure was shafted, but it was minor compared to 2021 graduating seniors. So, who better to talk to than the kids who lived it? Here are a bunch of quick clips with a variety of high school seniors who will be graduating soon. They get to answer some random question, and we avoided the dreaded, "What are you doing after high school." Give them some props and relive or prep for your graduation and life after.

In this episode, I sit down with the current 2A Oregon state champion, Sisay. We talk about becoming the first cross country state champion in Stanfield history. We completely figure out the difference between texting and talking and dating - not. There is some parenting talk and the girls completely insult my age, but like, whatever. Welcome to Episode #8. High school senior Brad gives us an update on his time in Basic Training for the National Guard, what has happened during his senior year, and how he feels about his home town. We discuss his meteoric rise in middle school and what the Brad aura was, even though neither of us still quite understand it. Enjoy and get some insights.

Well, we just kept jumping to topics and kept the conversation going. Cynthia wanted to talk about high school love, which nobody can relate too...We get into some other topics and finish off from part I. The audio is a little quiet for one part, so prepare your ears when the second part kicks in. I think we were both able to have and educational conversation, I mean who knew that fat from the gut could fill the caboose?

He has a variety of experiences to share and lessons he has learned. Nothing fancy in this recording, since it was my first virtual recording. There are a few glitches, but I think hearing from teenage boys is valuable and needed.

In this episode, I talk with a current high school junior named Jenn (J-Flow) about student life during Covid, educational insights from a current high school perspective, basketball, greatest fears, and a ten word questionnaire. Jenn brings some personality to the conversation, and she is the main reason I jumped into trying podcasts.

In this episode, I speak with a former student and see how her transition has been after high school. Many young people will understand and recognize her path and also see how her life is similar to theirs. We jump around during the discussion and end up, once again, diving into social media and I get edumecated on influencing - sort of.
