Multi-instrumentalist Zoh Amba is widely known in the avant-garde jazz world for their remarkable talent as a saxophonist. Having cemented their reputation as a natural improviser, they now turn their attention to seemingly new territory that is really a homecoming: gritty, Appalachian folk-rock music. In their debut singer-songwriter record, titled Eyes Full, Zoh Amba studies the culture of their hometown of Kingsport, Tennessee, picking up the guitar as a main instrument for the first time. With every voice-cracking cry, Zoh Amba embodies the troubles of hardworking small-town people, telling their stories in musical settings that are not sophisticated, but raw and authentic instead. The same spirit of mirroring the struggles of others can be vividly heard in this edition of Soundcheck, as Zoh Amba performs some of their aching new songs live with their band. (- Sırma Munyar) Setlist: 1. Weed Eating 2. Eyes Full 3. Runnin' Bet 4. Southern Soil 5. Dead End Street (Photo of Zoh Amba by A.J. Morales) Hosted by Simplecast, an AdsWizz company. Van Halen's Diamond Dave perfectly named the symbolic episode, as those who take the devil's bargain end up having to run for the rest of their lives, especially in Hollywood. Messages in music lyrics and symbols paint a darker picture of the true nature of the entertainment industry. Washington D.C. has a Satanic thread running through the halls of power, as it always has. Behind the scenes, the American government has long been controlled by the darkest forces imaginable, connected through pedophilia, rituals, and blackmail. Dismissing the power and pervasiveness of Satanism in American society should be avoided.---Macroaggressionswww.Macroaggressions.ioMerch StoreLink Tree Video ChannelsRumble | YouTube | BrighteonActivist PostNewsletter Sign UpAudiobooksHypocrazyThe Octopus of Global ControlSupport Our SponsorsReplace Your Mortgage: www.WipeOutYourMortgageNow.comGround Luxe Grounding MatsC60 Power | Promo Code: MACROChemical Free Body | Promo Code: MACROWise Wolf Gold & SilverLegalShield: www.DontGetPushedAround.comChristian Yordanov's Health ProgramThe Dollar VigilanteNesa's Hemp | Promo Code: MACROAugason Farms

This week we dig into the archives to revisit a One Song favorite. Diallo and LUXXURY break down The Pharcyde's “Runnin',” the track from the legendary hip-hop group that brought new flavor to the West Coast sound in the ‘90s. They dive into the group's introspective lyrics about vulnerability and personal struggle, how they met and collaborated with soon-to-be legendary producer J Dilla (at the time known as Jay Dee), and how Dilla's genre-reinventing beatmaking style – blending old school hip-hop and bossa nova samples – helped The Pharcyde popularize the alternative hip-hop movement.
