My guest is an independent journalist and researcher Amirbek Usmanov. He is a co-author of a book titled “The history of Kyrgyz people through the eyes of witnesses”. We talked about his interest in history, memory studies, and his researches.
I was speaking to producers of the documentary film about Japanese war prisoners sent to Central Asia during the WW2, Aigul Kubatova, Arstanbek Sagaldaev, and the head of the Kyrgyz-Japan entrepreneurial council and the former ambassador of the Kyrgyz Republic to Japan Ryspek Moldogaziev.
