The thunder of his power who can understand?

How then can a man be justified with God?

They turn the needy out of the way

I have esteemed the words of his mouth more than my necessary food

Is not God in the heights?

Shall any teach God knowledge?

The triumphing of the wicked is short

Oh that my words were now written!

His roots shall be dried up beneath and above shall his branch be cut off

Are there not mockers with me?

Miserable comforters are ye all

Hast thou heard the secret of God?

Thou numberest my steps

Though he slay me, yet will I trust in him

With Him is wisdom and strength

Should a man full of talk be justified?

If I be wicked, woe unto me

He is wise in heart, and mighty in strength

The wicked shall come to naught

What is man, that thou shouldest magnify him?

Teach me and I will hold my tongue

So the poor hath hope

Shall mortal man be more just than God?

Let the day perish wherein I was brought forth

Thou speakest as one of the foolish women

Blessed be the name of the LORD

Wherefore they called these days Purim

The Jews had light and gladness and joy and honour

For we are sold, I and my people, to be destroyed

Let the royal apparel be brought

Haman told them of the glory of his riches

Who knoweth whether thou art come to the kingdom for such a time as this?

Haman sought to destroy all the Jews

Esther had not yet shewed her kindred nor her people

He made a feast unto all his princes and servants

God turned the curse into a blessing

That day they offered great sacrifices

And the people blessed all the men that willingly offered themselves to dwell at Jerusalem

We will not forsake the house of our God

Thou art a God ready to pardon, gracious and merciful, slow to anger and of great kindness

The joy of the Lord is your strength

He was a faithful man and feared God above many

O God, strengthen my hands

Think upon me, my God, for good

Hear, O our God

They fortified Jerusalem

Let us rise up and build

I sat down and wept and mourned certain days and fasted and prayed

All these had taken strange wives

Thou our God hast punished us less than our iniquities deserve

The hand of our God is upon all them for good that seek him
