II Chronicles 7:14 starts off with a big IF. His power is only limited by our faithfulness. He is faithful to the faithful.

While I and II Kings talk about what was happening with the children of Israel, I and II Chronicles talks about how these things happened in a large overview. Don't get bored with the genealogies! There is much to glean from these two books of the Bible!

By the way that he came, By the same shall he return; And he shall not come into this city,' Says the Lord. ‘For I will defend this city, to save it For My own sake and for My servant David's sake.' ” Isaiah 55:1-3 NKJV “Ho!
