The devices were linked to China's intelligence agency, the MSS, which has used similar systems to target U.S. officials and conservative figures. “No more scalpels. Chainsaws only,” Bryan urges, calling for mass visa revocations and deportations.   Trump's Insurrection Act Warning: President Trump hinted he may invoke the 1807 Insurrection Act to deploy federal troops in cities like Portland and Chicago, where Democrat officials refuse to protect federal officers. The move recalls Lincoln's 1861 use of the law to quell rebellion. “These are acts of insurrection,” Bryan says, citing violence against ICE agents and the left's normalization of lawlessness.   Global Political Upheaval: France's fifth prime minister in two years resigned after another budget collapse, while populists swept elections in the Czech Republic and Japan shifted right under new conservative leader Sanae Takaichi. Meanwhile, Michael Bloomberg announced a $50 million campaign to “fight populism” by grooming leftist city leaders worldwide.   A Moment of Reflection and Hope: On the anniversary of Hamas's October 7 attacks, Bryan offered prayers for Israeli and Palestinian victims alike, urging peace as Trump's team nears a possible Gaza deal. Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples. — Psalm 96:3 As we wrap up our month together, let's return to our theme passage, Psalm 96. As I read this psalm, I notice something remarkable. It assumes that God is at work at all times in creation and among all the peoples and nations of the world. Sometimes it can be tempting for us to believe that we are responsible to bring God into places where he is not. But the truth is that God is already present wherever we may go. Our call is to bear witness to him and to his work in our midst. I recently spent a couple of days with a small group of church leaders and members from across my denomination. I heard story after story about God at work in their church communities. It didn't matter if their church was urban, suburban, thriving, or struggling—every person had stories to tell about God changing lives and communities. There were stories of discipleship, mission, service, worship, and sacrifice. We began as strangers around the table, and soon we embraced each other as brothers and sisters in Christ. We clearly saw the presence of Jesus in one another. We were all different, but we each had similar stories of the faithful God working through the small and loving actions of his people. May God use you and me to “declare his glory . . . among all peoples.” God, guide us to declare your glory and to point out your amazing work that is all around us in every part of the world. May your kingdom come and your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Psalm 9:9 says, “The Lord is a refuge for the oppressed, a stronghold in times of trouble.” Or there's Psalm 91:2 that says, “I will say of the Lord, 'He is my refuge and my fortress, my God, in whom I trust.”  Joy is findable and attainable and consistent when we remember God is for us and our constant refuge. He did everything he did and left everything he had so he could have you. There's joy right there—for him and for you.

As we embark on this new week, I declare that Your divine light will shine brightly upon our paths, guiding us through every darkness. Everything we touch shall prosper, just as it is written in Deuteronomy 28:12, where You promise abundance in all that we set our hands to do. Let our endeavors be fruitful, bringing glory to Your name and blessings to those around us. May peace, joy, and divine favor surround us and our loved ones like a protective shield. Your Word assures us in Philippians 4:7 that Your peace surpasses all understanding; let it guard our hearts and minds this week. We stand firm in faith, believing that every closed door of blessing shall swing wide open and every delay shall morph into divine speed. As we close this month, I ask that You clothe us with wisdom, strength, and protection. May the remaining days in this year overflow with testimonies, laughter, and unshakable breakthroughs. In Jesus' name, I pray for these blessings to manifest in our lives. In Jesus' name. Amen. Psalm 43:3 says, "Send out Your light and Your truth; let them lead me. Let them bring me to Your holy mountain and to the place where You dwell." Amen.

Declare it until you see it then declare it until you seize it!

Sometimes people know how to push our buttons, and we don't want to forgive them. And we know they have evil intent. And what they've done was intentional. And the pain is unthinkable. And you can't help but feel the bitterness it initially caused. But you've been watering that bitterness daily. And when you allow that anger to fester, it grows and it takes root. And it becomes toxic to other relationships in your life. However, when we choose forgiveness, it sets us free!

As a mama of four (two boys and two girls), and one of eight siblings myself, I've seen the whole spectrum—from giggles and hugs to slammed doors and shouted words. There was a season when the tension between my sons was so strong that we had to separate their bedrooms. It felt like I was failing… like peace was something other families got to enjoy but not ours. I cried out to God—“Lord, help my boys. Help me.”And He did. The breakthrough came little by little; when I began speaking life over my sons. Instead of only correcting their behavior, I declared truth: “You are a mighty man of God. That's not who you are.” I trusted the Holy Spirit was at work even when I couldn't see it, and I began praying the attributes of God over them—patience, love, kindness, gentleness.It didn't happen overnight, but it did happen. Today, those same boys who couldn't share a room now snowboard, fix cars, and hang out at Dutch Bros together: with joy and peace! So if you're in the thick of it today, mama, don't give up. You're not alone. God hears your prayers. He sees your tears. And He is faithful. Here's your tip this Friday:Start speaking life TODAY. Tell your kids who they are in Christ. Declare peace over your home. Pray the characteristics of God into their hearts. Ask the Holy Spirit to move: He's already at work.

Jesus went throughout Galilee . . . healing every disease and sickness among the people. — Matthew 4:23 This week let's reflect on a word we might not hear very often: holistic. In mission work we generally define holistic in terms of people's whole lives. We minister with our whole lives, and we care about the whole lives of the people we minister with. It's one thing to think about a definition. It's a whole other thing to see it in action. That's what we read about as Matthew 4 describes the ministry of Jesus. Imagine what it would have been like to experience Jesus' work for yourself. No wonder the good news of Jesus spread everywhere! All of the mission concepts we have been reflecting on this month show up in this passage: gospel (good news), witness, and holistic. Jesus proclaims the good news of the kingdom of God. People who experience Jesus witness to his goodness and bring others to meet him. And we see the holistic ministry of Jesus “healing every disease and sickness.” People are set free in every part of their lives. Our theme verse for this month says: “Declare his glory among the nations, his marvelous deeds among all peoples” (Psalm 96:3). This is what holistic mission is all about. What does it look like to introduce hurting people to Jesus and his marvelous deeds? We live in a world that desperately needs to experience the loving and healing touch of Jesus. Jesus, thank you for caring about every part of our lives. Please bring healing to the broken areas of my life, and help me to be a channel of your healing presence to others. Amen.

Perhaps life isn't unfolding as you had thought it would. Maybe it's falling apart. And you need wisdom more than you can imagine. And I promise you that God wants to give you wisdom. However, another part of it is that you are hanging around fools. And you keep asking for God's help. And maybe God is saying. No. It's up to you to surround yourself with the right people, walking with the wise to become wise.
