Every vocation, profession or walk of life is marked by a certain lifestyle. The Christian life is a calling that’s marked by a certain lifestyle. You must learn to cultivate the presence of God through prayer and meditation on God’s word. The world’s way of success is through superior training, mental conditioning and positive attitude but God’s recipe for success is not only work but meditating on the one who is able to save us
Every vocation, profession or walk of life is marked by a certain lifestyle. The Christian life is a calling that’s marked by a certain lifestyle. Your daily schedule is an indication of your values in life. What you spend time on is an indication of who you are. Jesus had a lifestyle. It was His custom (habit) to attend to weekly worship and prayer.
Real supernatural life is a life lived in humble submission to the Lordship of Jesus Christ, to the service of the kingdom of God and in fellowship with the Holy Spirit which manifests itself in the form of a noble personality, a balanced character, and a beautifully integrated personality.
There are two distinct lines of seed promised to Abraham. One, an earthly seed, to be like the dust of the earth, without number (Gen. 13:16), centered wholly in the earth by a relationship of physical generation (Gen 12:7); the other seed were likened to the stars of heaven, without number (Gen. 15:5), centered wholly in the heavenlies by a relationship of spiritual regeneration, which is represented in Christ and the Church (Rom. 4:1-5).
Kingdom citizenship demands a new identity, at least a spiritual one. We must have a new nature, new principles, new affections, new aims. By our first birth we are corrupt, sharpen in sin and iniquity; we must therefore undergo a second birth; our souls must be fashioned and enlivened anew.
