Nationwide protests gridlocked Israel on Sunday, as demonstrators called for the end to the war and reaching a deal to release the hostages. Prime Minister Netanyahu fired back saying that ending the war now without defeating Hamas, would ensure that the atrocities of October 7 will repeat themselves again and again. All Israelis want the hostages freed, but unfortunately anti-government activists have taken over the demonstrations, as they haven't been able to defeat Netanyahu at the ballot box. The final episode of Season 2 reveals why no amount of reunions would bridge the gap in perceptions for several cast members. Whether it's divorcing couples, former best friends, or people who feel passionately about Danny's behavior when drinking, this reunion made it clear that some cast members are not able to move on. Janet makes additional allegations and seems indifferent to Nia's point about the harm her focus on Danny could do which ends with two very pregnant women, Kristen and Nia, shouting as Janet smirks. It's an ironic twist after last year's plotlines of Janet being pregnant and avoiding anything upsetting. We also learned how close of a friend Zach had been to Brittany's ex at one time, which helped to explain the levels of animosity they now have for one another. A highlight was seeing Andy "scold" Jesse for having his girlfriend come to the end of the last cast event where her presence resulted in drama, but still not agree to film. Overall, it was a meandering but sometimes satisfying end to the season. Six Al Jazeera journalists have been killed in targeted strikes by Israel recently and much of the world is up in arms. On Thursday, television host Piers Morgan invited two journalists to discuss the issues and their very different takes. Jotam Confino is based in Israel and writes extensively for international media, primarily in Europe and the U.K. His commentary on this issue on social media and elsewhere has attracted significant attention and among those who took note is Piers Morgan. He invited Confino onto Uncensored last Thursday. Morgan hosts what is probably the most watched English language program dealing with current events. Confino is furious that these six journalists who worked for Al-Jazeera are being lionized as truth warriors, when they are nothing more than craven propaganda shills, in his view. Presenting a very different perspective is Jamal Elshayyal, a long-time Al-Jazeera newsman. Based on his defense of Al Jazeera editorial conduct as well as the work of his colleagues, Confino questions why he even considers himself a journalist. And Confino came to this standoff prepared.
