The Utility of Virtue is a 1:29 piece written in G starting in 4/4 time and sliding into 3/4 time. And then we go back to 4/4 time again at 130 bpm. This piece was sitting in the vault since May 5, 2019 and it could not be contained.
Left Foot Forward is a 1:41 piece written in B major in 4/4at 120 bpm. Funny thing about this piece is, it was written on the first day of 2019 and came to life one year later. It is a simple little piece with a cute F♯ to F♮ at the end of the 2nd 6th and 10th measure repeated 4 times. It is a keeper.
Crazy Zen Bird is a short 0:53 piece written in G in 4/4 inside of just 8 measures. One of the first sketches of January 1, 2020. a.k.a. Composition_20200101_D. It took on a shape of its own after a few days.
Scribbled chords and bass-lines waiting to be tamed and presented. Here it is, A Trip Around the Sun. Another year old in December. Written in the Key of C while there are some B flats tossed in for spice and a tag along C# for a little 5 note melody.
Originated as Composition 20191215 in written form - For a day and a half, I jammed a riff that had to live somewhere. Its title developed from : Bassy Thing and released as Parva Luna or Small Moon in Latin.
