Leave your qualms at the door and cackle freely with college student, Kiera Stubanas. Lover of obscure words and frisky commentary, Kiera is here to spill the tea. Think of her as that one cooky friend who never knows when to shut her mouth. Enjoy conversations with other qualm-free college students who Kiera has forced to come on the show. I just ramble about random things... hope it’s somewhat entertaining/relatable! Thanks so much for listening!
We have made it through 2020!! In today's episode, I am joined by my two friends Abbey and Isabelle to discuss what this year was like for us. There is quite a lot of rambling and laughing, so I think it is a very fun one. Hope you all enjoy and have a great new year!
Hey, hey, hey!! I have returned and I am not alone! I am joined by my brother Corey, who talks about all things smart lol. He shares his views on positive thinking, what it was like going to school at St. Andrews in Scotland and why he thinks Avatar is the show of our generation. I think this is a fun one so enjoy!!
Today we have my good friend Nadia on the pod! We talk about the struggles of attending college during a pandemic, our insecurities during high school, and how we have changed since we came to school. At the end, we get a little goofy and talk about music, costar, and our emotions. It's a fun one and I hope you all enjoy the conservation! Please rate and review on iTunes and follow No Qualms Here on Spotify if you enjoy!
Today I am going deep! I talk about feeling rather despondent lately and the things that I do to change that negative thinking around. Think of this episode as a chat with a friend. I hope to provide some comfort to you with the fact that I, too, the (self-titled) No Qualm Queen has qualms. Watch some Gilmore Girls, drink a seltzer, apply eyeliner, and get back to being the Queen that you are! Don't forget to rate and review on iTunes and follow on Spotify!!
I am back in Burlington, everyone, so get ready for some great podcasts with some great college friends!! Today, to kick off the semester (and when this goes up just so happens to be the first day of classes, woohoo!), we have my friend Marjorie on! We talk about the relationship between sustainability and privilege, how to channel your worries about the world into action, and all things friends. I love Marj and I have no doubt that you all will too after this conversation. If you enjoyed this episode, please rate and review No Qualms Here on iTunes and follow on Spotify! Love you all and I hope you are all having a great semester so far (wear your masks!!).
Today we have none other than my aunt, Tara Libert, who also just so happens to be the co-founder of Free Minds Bookclub and Writing Workshop! We discuss the power poetry has to connect incarcerated people with those outside of the prison walls, the importance of using your voice to uplift those who are marginalized and often unheard, and we tell stories about some of the Free Minds members. This is a greatly inspirational and informative episode that I hope you all enjoy. We mentioned a TED talk and a specific case, so links to those, as well as a link to the Free Minds homepage will be listed below for those who are interested. Hello No Qualmers! Today I babble on about the Netflix shows and movies that I cannot seem to complete, what I wish to manifest for the fall semester, and the list of baby names I have gathered from characters in romance novels. If you are able to listen without your ears beginning to bleed, then hooray for you! You deserve a gold star! Thank you so much if you are a No Qualmer and please rate and review on iTunes to support this shit show of a podcast!
T Swizzle did it again, folks! I am here to talk about no other than the Folklore album, and in particular, the song, "The Last Great American Dynasty" and the wonderful-ness of Rebekah Harkness. I rant about the frustration I feel over society making women feel like they must dim their light, when that light is what makes "The Greats" so great. Stories of my own of people telling me I am too weird and must change my "crazy" personality around certain people are shared. This is a short but feisty episode that is sure to annoy the heck out of you ! Just kidding.... I think. Not only is this a promotion of Folklore, but it is also my attempt to encourage all my wonderful No Qualmers to keep giving no qualms and to cackle at the haterz!!
Sup peeps! I am back and babbling on about how to feel okay in the sausage casing that is our bodies. I give a brief summary of my own body ~journey~ (barf), from being “rollable” as a baby, according to my brothers, to being told that I'd be considered beautiful... if I lived in Russia. If you want to hear semi-okay advice on how to give #zerofux then listen on! I am so very grateful for all of your generous ears. Please rate and review on iTunes if you feel so compelled
My poor friend Grace thought we were just watching the Hannah Montana Movie and eating ice cream the other night but... psyche! This is (in my opinion, at least) a very funny episode, as we discuss in detail our awkward stages in middle school, and how we may or may not still be in one. We talk Justin Bieber, American Girl Dolls, and what our friendship means to each of us. While it includes some laughs, there are also some #tender moments. Thanks so much for listening and don't forget to rate and review on iTunes!
Today, my friends, my Aunt Janet talks about the importance of traveling and immersing yourself in different cultures, what she's learned from a small act of kindness she experienced, and we discuss the Black Lives Matter Movement. I personally love this episode, as it captures the sitting-on-the-floor-eating-cookies-and-talking energy, while it is also an inspiring and important conversation. I hope you guys enjoy!
I am back with loopy commentary on ~summertime sadness~ that is followed with unsolicited readings of book summaries. To be honest, I don't talk so much as I mumble and sing random words, but hey, maybe this podcast will make you feel better about yourself (out of comparison to me lol). Linked below is a link to a google doc with various resources with regards to BLM and the fight for racial justice. Feel free to peruse :) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1mdpa8RV0Zl9LDnGkNGJUMSvjZFxmMisViX6fPxkrWEE/edit?usp=sharing
I thought that for this episode I would call some of my friends to chat about staying positive (while still outraged and proactive, of course) during these upsetting times. We chat about funny stories, things that make us happy, and what to do when we're feeling down in the dumps. I hope this episode brought you some comic relief
My MOTHER is on people! Get excited because my mom and I talk about her college days as an engineering student in ROTC (what?), what advice she would tell her college-aged self, and what her and I love to do together. This is just a fun conversation between a mother and her daughter who are so opposite yet so very similar. Hope you guys get a chuckle out of this one!
BONUS BITCHES! I was very bored so I thought I'd annoy you all with my voice! I talk about how Michael Cera would most likely play my love interest in a movie, I describe my #swolegoals (I hate me too), and I get rather aggressive while talking about the term douchebag.
I started a podcast people! In this episode, I introduce you to my wacky family, some of my favorite vocab words, and my thoughts on love letters.
