Padres Prospectus Podcast

In the eighth installment of the Padres Prospectus Podcast, Marcus and Chad talk about Capps' long-awaited season debut, discuss whether the Padres are (and should be) tanking, and take note of some recent success in the Padres system. In Episode Seven, Marcus chats with new Padres Prospectus writer Ryan Luz about the trade deadline, current progress with the Padre core, and Marcus' most recent trip to watch the San Antonio Missions.  Ryan then recaps part of his Something Rather Than Nothing series, which includes spotlights on Marcus Greene Jr. and Pedro Avila.  The guys also talked about how awesome Fernando Tatis Jr. is, and then played a game called "Finley or Venable". 

The duo is back! In the 6th installment, Chad and Marcus go ever the good, the bad, and the very annoying of the first half of the 2017 Padres season. Then, they cover some interesting news about the farm, especially a questionable player promotion (or two). Finally, listener questions are answered, and listener ideas for promotions to get more fans into Petco park are discussed, with the guys chiming in.
