Death has so terrorised mankind that even the mention of it evokes fear.However the scriptures give us light on the true nature of death with a resounding exhortation “fear not”.

The Lord Jesus Christ had earlier said during his earthly ministry, “For verily I say unto you, Till heaven and earth pass, one jot or one tittle shall in no wise pass from the law, till all be fulfilled”.He spoke of the heaven and earth as something less or inferior to his word.

‪This looks similar to being called a “royal priesthood”. In the old testament there was a clear distinction between Kingship and the Priesthood. In the new testament both have been fused into one.‬

He looked and saw a door opened in heaven.The idea here was not about the heavens opening, but of him seeing the door opened.

Grace is God’s love in action.It is the expression of God’s love to you.God so loved the world that he went beyond talking about it, but acted by giving Jesus Christ. God loves you more than you love yourself and will never stop loving you.

We are labourers together with God; we are not just called to labour “for” him, we called to labour “with” him. Heaven is dependent on our labours upon the earth.

I had once said to someone “cry if you have to, but don’t cry forever”.This means occasions might arise here on earth that could move you to tears.Have you ever thought of the possibility of not having any reason to cry?

Physical death is not the end for a human being ,it is simply a transition to the next phase of existence.At that time there will be no more room for salvation

There is a future ceremony prophesied about in the holy scriptures known as the marriage feast of the lamb.The Bride of Christ will be dressed or arrayed in fine linen, for the fine linen is the righteousness of saints.

When I read through the Scriptures and come across portions that describe the severity of judgement or calamity;I cannot help but imagine the extremity of his grace and mercy.

One phrase in the book of Matthew that always excites me is the phrase “that it might be fulfilled”. It seemed like every decision or action of Jesus Christ was to bring a prophecy to fulfillment.

The call for man to reverence God and give him glory will never cease.He is worthy to receive glory, honour and power.God created all things for his pleasure.You were created for God’s pleasure.

The Lamb slain has a book called the book of Life.There is a connection between the sacrifice of Jesus Christ and those recorded in the book of Life.

‪There are scenarios that play out in Scripture that assure us of how far God can go for us as believers.The eyes of the Lord run to and fro the earth to show himself mighty on our behalf.‬

There is a law of the Spirit of Life in Christ Jesus that exempts us from the effect of Sin and death.Death is an idea that man never toys around with, through time death has made a name for itself

The beloved Apostle had been prophesying earlier and must have thought it was already enough until he received an instruction that said to him “you must prophesy again”.

Our Lord Jesus Christ is the lamb which is in the midst of the throne.He is the sacrificial lamb that was slain for the sins of the whole world.

Jesus Christ is the Lamb of God who took away your sins and that of the whole world.He has been earlier introduced in scripture as the “sin bearer” and the substitute for sin.

Do not allow your heart re-echo the former songs of guilt, fear, loneliness or defeat.You need to sing a new song and stay with the new song.

The first three chapters seemed to address present day issues in literal churches that existed at the time of writing.The fourth chapter begins to deal with future (upcoming) events.

Jesus Christ is not only the Bishop and Shepherd of your soul; He is also the Chief Shepherd over all believers.He oversees and rewards our labours.

I have often heard people complain saying “nobody cares for me” or “I am alone, all by myself”.People want to be loved, even those who pretend not to be concerned about such things

Hospitality is an act of love.Every believer in Christ is scripturally instructed to practice hospitality, especially with fellow believers.It is a readiness to warmly welcome and assist others.This readiness is not necessarily towards those who can payback your act of love and kindness.

Life is for living, you were not born to merely exist.The Salvation plan opens you up to life in it’s fullness, living according to God’s plan for you.

‪There is a wide gap between what you were and what you are now in Christ. You were as sheep going astray, going of course, out of the way and actually lost.‬

You are a product of God’s love, you were begotten of love.If God is love, then love is in your DNA.Love is more than a commandment for the believer in Christ.Love is your nature; love is your culture.

I don’t think there is anyone that deliberately wants to experience confusion and every evil work in his life.However several people go through confusion and demonic manipulations on a regular basis.

Your Christ originated faith should also be “Christ influenced” in how it is expressed.God is not just interested in you receiving salvation.He is also interested in how you live it out.

Every believer in Christ is “twice born”. First of all born of the flesh by the will of Parents, andthen born of the Spirit by the will of God.

The tabloids always paint a picture of how troubled the world is,as such there is so much fear and despair in the air. Refuse to be pressured or deflated by circumstances of life that meet you.

The admonition in this scripture is on how to be fellow-helpers of the gospel

The consciousness of your identity is very important.Every believer in Christ should wear the consciousness of their identity in Christ as a badge.There is no confusion about where you belong ,you belong to God and not the world.

Jesus Christ sacrificed his life for us.His death was a sacrifice.Every believer is a beneficiary of that sacrifice, and also expected to be an exponent of sacrifice.

There are many prayers of the Old Testament that have been answered by the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ, yet some folks are still praying for them.

Salvation is a call out of darkness and a call into light.For you were once in darkness ,now you are light in the Lord.Our scriptural text in one breath speaks of walking in the light, fellowshipwith one another and blood of Jesus Christ.

There are skeptics who ask if the Promise of the Lord’s return will ever be fulfilled.The Scriptures say they are ignorant, it actually says they have chosen to be ignorant.

Every believer has a common enemy,Satan the Adversary.It is important to know that your real enemy is not necessarily your colleague or Neighbour.

No believer should live ignorant of what is going on around the World today.Things are playing out exactly how the scriptures foretold they would.

The Spotlight is on the righteous, the scripture informs us of God’s disposition towards the righteous.We see that this statement of Apostle Peter was lifted from the Psalms (34th Chapter).

I hear the voice of the psalmist crying out “O taste and see that the Lord is good.”It sounds like an evangelistic plea to someone out there that has not yet experienced the love and kindness of God.

Our salvation experience is more than a change of attitude.Repentance on it’s own is not Salvation! Your definition or understanding of salvation will determine your Christian experience.

There might be an arrogance that comes from education, but there is a meekness of wisdom, especially the wisdom of God.Never mistake education for wisdom, someone can be educated and still lack wisdom

Salvation through Jesus Christ is a life transforming experience for every individual.It should affect your morals also.There is a way to speak and act as believers in Christ.

Our continuous transformation is influenced by looking continuously.God had used a situation in the Old Testament to bring to our attention the principle of “looking”.

The death of Jesus Christ has validated a new will and testament for all of mankind.Several prophecies had been given concerning the introduction of a new covenant or testament.
