Pleroma (play-roma) is a word used in the Bible for fullness, abundance, and hearts and hands having more than enough. When we engage in Christ centered play, we discover the depth of God’s creation. This podcast will explore educational athletics with coaches (often from Unity Christian in Hudsonville, MI) and others who help find pleroma in play and sport.
Today's episode serves as a sneak preview of a talk that Dr. Greg Dale of Duke University will give on August 12th at Unity Christian High School. Dr. Dale is the Director of Sport Psychology and Leadership Program for Duke Athletics. In this episode we hear Dr. Dale's wisdom regarding parenting athletes, the benefits of our kids failing, and some perspective on making sport have a positive impact on character development. We are excited to be able to host Dr. Dale at Unity Christian and look forward to the wisdom that he will be able to provide our coaches, athletes, and parents.
