Hello! I’m Adèle Giovanniello a 18-year old high school student, who just want to share and explore social issues, topics, or communities that often go unnoticed, while having as much fun as possible talking to friends!
For my season finale, I will be addressing (alone) my opinions on the events that unfolded Jan. 6. I just remembered I never acknowledged nor congratulated the historic wins in Georgia, so my best goes to you both. Please, if you are conservative and this title upsets you, I urge you to make it through this episode. The events from Wednesday call us all to start listening where we get our views from, I ask you take the time out of your day to hear mine. Here are the links that I discussed in my episode: allsides.org for looking at political bias and https://www.theatlantic.com/ideas/archive/2019/10/george-conway-trump-unfit-office/599128/ to see the psychology behind Trump’s behavior.
Active feminist, club president of our local high school’s Amnesty International chapter, and close friend Harshitaa Arunkumar and I discuss feminism and many common misconceptions that follow the movement. For more information and resources to support the #metoo movement feel free to click below. https://metoomvmt.org
What’s it like to move from NY to CA for high school? How was Sarina 12 freshman year? Why would my playground area get set on fire in elementary school? All of these questions will be answered in this episodes’ topic of moving, as we recall some of our memories from the east coast and more. (PC: Jordan Brown & Madison Ross)
Lifelong friend and college tour memorizer Minji Kim and I talk about confidence during the college apps season. Sometimes it’s ok not to be humble, and to remain unapologetic for being yourself.(Side note: I apologize for not posting recently, more episodes will be coming soon. Also for personal reasons I am no longer on Instagram, so the account is inactive, but feel free to leave commentary through the anchor app! )
What are the differences between Catholicism and Protestantism? Is it ok that Gen-Z is more spiritual than religious? Why wasn’t Terrence in any of the back to school photos? This episode I interviewed my former Catholic priest from New York, Father Robert Longobucco to get his faithful take on these hot topics.
Chloe and I talk about what it means to be plant-based, learn about veganism, and why so many people are doing it. Does eating meat really impact our environment? Go listen to Chloe’s podcast @projectvegoza where she delves more into the topics of food and public health!
What is Static and Dynamic? What is RDI therapy? How does one get free coconut green tea drinks? Doug and I answer all these questions and more as we dive into the technical aspects of Autism, and how this is affected by the neurotypical world. Movies, shows, and Docs Doug mentioned are all linked in previous episode. Enjoy!
After meeting London and his family at a bike camp, I have been babysitting him ever since, and I’m learning a lot about autism. His mother Syndi and I talk about common misconceptions, the spectrum, the neuro typical world, and the autism community. Stay tuned for a part 2 with Doug Sim, London’s father!
Vanessa and I interview the former mayor and city council member of our local town, Ross Chun, as to how local government has treated the outbreak. We also ask what people should do as individuals, and members of a larger community, and what teens can do moving forward in a time where mental health is struggling.

Vanessa and I interview Kristen Giovanniello, (my mom) on getting yourself prepared for the workforce with a strong resume, and why everyone should set up a LinkedIn profile.
Marie and I talk about the rise of the BLM movement, what defines a “culture vulture", and much more. (Disclaimer: while I am not part of the Black community, I am trying my best to educate myself on systemic racism and the white privilege I along with many others benefit from.) You can support BLM by donating through the NAACP. More resources will be attached on my Instagram @raisinghellwithadele
Enana and I unpack the many cultural aspects that go unnoticed in America regarding Middle Eastern-Americans, and how you can amp up your dessert game. (disclaimer: Although I don’t know life as a Middle-Eastern American, I merely want to understand and appreciate the culture). Resources to the BLM movement, the Yemen crisis, and Enana’s family’s work will be linked on my Instagram @raisinghellwithadele. Hope you enjoy. ♥️
