As a pediatrician, I was not asking enough questions about my patients' periods. We ask when the last one was. We rarely go deeper than that. And after this conversation, I will never approach it the same way again. I sat down with my friend and colleague Dr. Natalie Crawford, reproductive endocrinologist, fertility specialist, and author of The Fertility Formula. Here is what I want every parent raising a girl to understand: the menstrual cycle is not just a monthly inconvenience. It is one of the most important windows into your daughter's hormonal health, her long-term fertility, and her overall wellbeing. And the symptoms we keep brushing off as "just puberty" or "just a bad period" are often the first clues to conditions that will matter deeply later in life. In this episode, we cover: Why the menstrual cycle is a vital sign and what that means for the girls in your life The warning signs parents and pediatricians too often dismiss as normal What a first period should actually look like, and when irregular cycles need to be taken seriously Hypothalamic amenorrhea: the condition linked to over-exercising, under-eating, and chronic stress that silently affects estrogen during some of the most critical years of development PCOS in teens: why it does not always look the way doctors expect, and why so many girls get missed Thyroid disease and how it shows up in the menstrual cycle before anything else Endometriosis in adolescents: when period pain is not normal and what to do about it Why birth control is sometimes the right treatment but not always the full answer How to advocate for your daughter when you feel dismissed at the doctor's office The referral path from pediatrician to OB to specialist, and when to push for more Connect with Dr. Natalie Crawford on Instagram @nataliecrawfordmd, visit her site https://www.nataliecrawfordmd.com/ and buy her new book: https://a.co/d/0byHPtzr Here is the revised list of 20 chapters, spaced out chronologically to cover the entire duration of the provided text for "Podcast Natalie Crawford Final.mp3.txt": 00:00:00 The Paternalistic History of Women's Health 00:01:19 Introducing Dr. Natalie Crawford & The Fertility Formula 00:02:56 The Stigma of Cycle Tracking and Menstrual Shame 00:04:53 Dr. Mona's Personal Battle with Secondary Infertility 00:06:00 Overcoming the Unknown and Paternalism in Medicine 00:08:11 Empowering Younger Women to Advocate for Their Bodies 00:10:27 Raising Children to Trust Their Physical Cues 00:11:32 Dr. Crawford's Personal Experience with Pregnancy Loss 00:13:13 Shifting Medical Research Toward Natural Fertility 00:16:33 Cultivating Fast Vulnerability in Doctor-Patient Bonds 00:18:15 The Ovarian Vault and the Biology of Puberty 00:20:25 The Brain-Ovary Dance: Follicular vs. Luteal Phases 00:21:59 Static on the Walkie-Talkie: Environmental Disruptors 00:23:40 Red Flags: School Refusal and Endometriosis Risk 00:26:03 Beyond the Basics: Upgrading Pediatric Screening Questions 00:30:11 Deep Dive into Hypothalamic Amenorrhea 00:33:14 The Metabolic Realities of Living with PCOS 00:41:43 The Diagnostic Criteria for PCOS and Clinical Workups 00:44:16 Thyroid Disease and Its Impact on Reproductive Hormones 00:48:15 Long-Term Health Risks Linked to Untreated Infertility Our podcasts are also now on YouTube. We also revisit the band's iconic cover of Britney Spears' "Toxic," discussing how the idea came together, what it was like having one of their biggest songs be a cover, and what they believe makes for a truly great cover song. Along the way, we share some of the band's favorite covers and influences. We close things out by discussing what's next for A Static Lullaby, what fans can expect moving forward, and much more.Be sure to check out the band's latest releases and follow them on social media to stay up to date on everything they have coming next.Intro Music: "Hard Lines" by Tom Denney Links:Facebook:www.facebook.com/astaticlullabywww.facebook.com/rockabiliacomwww.facebook.com/brewspeakpodInstagram:@astaticlullaby_official, @rockabiliacom, @brewspeakpod, @jbeatty616Twitter:@rockabilia, @brewspeakpod, @jbeatty616Website:www.astaticlullaby.netEmail:Brewtallyspeaking@gmail.comRATE/REVIEW/SUBSCRIBE!!!
The moment someone signs up for your emails is the highest attention moment you will ever have with that subscriber. They just said yes. They're interested. They're engaged. And most brands are using that window to send two, maybe three emails - and then calling it done. That's a problem. Because the subscribers who buy from email one were already close to purchasing anyway. The discount and the timing just pushed them over the edge. The rest of your welcome series exists for everyone who wasn't ready yet - the people who need more trust, more context, more touchpoints - and that group is typically the majority. But length is just one piece of it. The deeper issue is what's actually inside those emails. A welcome flow that feels like it could have come from any brand in any industry isn't going to convert. Static product blocks that haven't been updated since the flow was built aren't giving new subscribers an accurate picture of who you are. And treating someone who already purchased the exact same way as someone who's never bought a thing is leaving revenue on the table every single day. You already paid to get these subscribers - through paid ads, organic content, collaborations, or years of showing up. The welcome flow is where that investment either pays off or gets wasted. In this episode, I walk through the specific places welcome flows leak revenue, what to do about each one, and why getting this right isn't starting from scratch - it's making sure the work you've already done actually converts. ✨ In this episode, you'll learn: Why the welcome window is your highest attention moment - and how most brands squander it Why 4 emails is the minimum for a welcome flow and 5-7 is optimal What every email in the sequence needs to do - and why more discount reminders isn't the answer The most common welcome flow problem: emails that feel like they could come from any brand How personalization from your pop-up can meaningfully change how the welcome series performs Why dynamic content is one of the easiest wins in any welcome flow - and why most brands overlook it What happens when a welcome flow hasn't been touched since it was built and the brand has completely evolved The revenue leak that comes from treating first-time purchasers and non-purchasers exactly the same How to think about whether buyers should exit the flow or stay in with adjusted content The welcome flow is where your subscriber acquisition investment either pays off or gets wasted. Getting it right is worth the effort. Work with Joy Joya: https://joyjoya.com
In this Huberman Lab Essentials episode, I explain the biology of flexibility and discuss the organ systems that shape range of motion and limb flexibility. I also discuss different types of stretching, which methods are most effective, and practical tools for timing stretching relative to exercise. Finally, I provide specific protocols for how intensely and how often to stretch to maximize flexibility, support exercise performance, and offset age-related losses of flexibility. This week we wanted to explore 1980s fantasy. But sometimes it's hard to recover nostalgia when present-day villains keep killing our favorite heroes. Last week, the BBC announced Doctor Who is dead. For now. Rest in peace, Time Lord. Also these days, Stargate fans are rallying to hold Amazon to its original promises of restoring that universe with original creators, and stop the ‘Zon from some “modern audience” reboot. For these and fans of other Star franchises, how do we mourn? Doctor Who destroyed by Russell T. Davies BBC, June 10: “BBC cancels Doctor Who Christmas special and Russell T Davies announces exit,” absolutely predictable end. Back in 2005, Davies revived Doctor Who serials on television. The series had “politically correct” moments, yet great writing. Writer Steven Moffat took over. The show got big. Then declined. In the late 2010s, political leftists demanded Doctor Who A lackluster showrunner took over. Fans rejected a gender-swap. Davies returned a political omnicause monster. He killed the Doctor. 2. Amazon rejects a fan-centered Stargate Variety, June 2: “‘Stargate' TV Series From Martin Gero Not Moving Forward at Amazon (EXCLUSIVE),” and fans were outraged. Original creators were on board, per the Nov. 2025 announcement. Now they join fans opposing this seeming ridiculous double-back. Amazon may want a “modern audience” show, not original fans. This is a universe more impossible than any sci-fi scenario. That's not how you grow a fanbase ever. True fans will grow it. Stephen finds this similar to #ReleaseTheSnyderCut. He's drawn in! 3. Star Trek/Wars still struggle to survive We saved this for last because fans everywhere rightly lament. Since our last episode on the topic, we've seen major updates. Mandalorian and Grogu bombed. Starfleet Academy was axed. Technically both franchises flounder ahead with illusory intent. Kathleen Kennedy is finally leaving Lucasfilm, owned by Disney. Star Trek showrunner Robert Kurtzman is likely next to go. Corporations aren't evil. But inhuman corporatism is parasitic. This “mind of metal and wheels” has ruined stories for Christians. But now the Christians are improving. These stories are decaying. We really can't pretend “popular culture” is just neutral ground. Activists do want to kill these stories and replace them with others. To speak truth, we should acknowledge the justifiable backlash. And then we mourn their deaths. But not as those without hope. After all, the results could be worse. What if the hijacking worked? Even non-Christian fans saw through the trick. And they said no. The “market” did its job, perhaps thanks to God's common grace. It's nearly like the Law rightly punishing violators. It is necessary. Let them suffer the results. Maybe repent. But retreat in disgrace. And if possible, may better storytellers rise up to restore worlds. Until then, let great story-worlds like Doctor Who rest in peace. Com station Top question for listeners How do you grieve the loss of fantastical stories you once loved? Next on Fantastical Truth One of the sillier myths in our culture is that “Most men don't read.” Sometimes this is a real trend. Other times it's wishful thinking because some creators don't want to make stories that celebrate boys and men. Still, we can look to fathers and mentors to train younger men, not just to love truth, but to love fantastical stories that honor truth. Just in time for the next stage of the Lightraiders tabletop game system, pilot and author James R. Hannibal returns to the studio to help fight dragons.
Joe Illidge Breaks Down Dakota's Legacy and the Future of Milestone in DC's New History of the DC Universe Comic book history is full of legendary moments, but few were as revolutionary as the arrival of Milestone Media in the 1990s. Created by industry visionaries including Dwayne McDuffie, Denys Cowan, Michael Davis, and Derek Dingle, Milestone introduced a wave of heroes that reflected communities and perspectives rarely seen in mainstream comics. Now, that legacy continues with New History of the DC Universe: The Dakota Incident #1, a powerful new anthology exploring Dakota City's place within the larger DC mythology. At the center of this project is Joe Illidge, a respected creative voice in the comics industry who has worked across editorial, writing, and cultural advocacy roles throughout his career. Illidge has long been connected to the spirit of Milestone storytelling — stories that combine superhero action with real-world themes about identity, community, and social change. In The Dakota Incident, the narrative digs deeper into the events surrounding Dakota City and the heroes who protect it, exploring how these characters intersect with the broader history of the DC Universe. For longtime fans, the story represents a powerful return to one of comics' most important cultural milestones. For new readers, it offers an opportunity to discover why characters like Static, Icon, Rocket, and Hardware remain so influential today. As Illidge and the creative team expand the mythology of Dakota, they also reaffirm something fans have always known: Milestone isn't just a comic imprint. It's a movement. The Milestone Revolution: A Visual Timeline of Dakota City 1993 — Milestone Media Is Born In 1993, four visionary creators Dwayne McDuffie, Denys Cowan, Michael Davis, and Derek T. Dingle launched Milestone Media, a publishing initiative designed to bring new voices, authentic communities, and diverse perspectives into superhero comics. Partnering with DC Comics for distribution, Milestone quickly became one of the most culturally important imprints in comics history. Their mission was simple but revolutionary: Create Superheroes that reflected the REAL World! 1994 — Dakota City Debuts The world is introduced to Dakota City, a fictional urban setting inspired by real American cities. Four major series launch almost simultaneously: • Static – teenage hero Virgil Hawkins becomes the electrifying voice of a new generation • Icon – an alien with the perspective of a Black conservative intellectual • Hardware – a corporate genius turned armored vigilante • Blood Syndicate – a street-level gang of superpowered antiheroes These comics brought social commentary, urban realism, and cultural authenticity rarely seen in superhero books at the time. 2000 — Static Shock Hits Television The character Static explodes into mainstream pop culture with the animated series Static Shock. The show runs for four seasons and introduces Dakota City and its heroes to an entirely new generation of fans. For many viewers, Static Shock becomes their first Black teenage superhero role model on television. 2020 — Milestone Returns After years of absence, Milestone Media returns with a major revival initiative. New series reintroduce Dakota City for modern readers: • Static Season One • Icon and Rocket Season One • Hardware Season One The revival reconnects the characters to the modern DC Universe while maintaining the cultural themes that made Milestone iconic. 2026 — The Dakota Incident Expands the DC Universe With New History of the DC Universe: The Dakota Incident #1, Dakota City's heroes are woven deeper into the mythology of the DC Universe. This anthology explores how Dakota's heroes and history intersect with the larger DC timeline expanding the legacy of Milestone while opening new doors for future storytelling. For longtime fans, it's a celebration of a revolutionary imprint. For new readers, it's a reminder that Dakota City remains one of the most important settings in comic book history. Signals in the Dark is a cinematic progressive trance and melodic EDM journey that unfolds as a single interconnected story across ten tracks. Told through powerful male and female duet vocals, the album follows two strangers drawn together by an unexplainable connection that neither distance nor time can erase. What begins as a faint feeling in the shadows slowly evolves into a shared path filled with discovery, hope, anticipation, and ultimately reunion. Built on soaring synth melodies, driving trance rhythms, emotional piano motifs, and expansive electronic soundscapes, each song serves as a chapter in a larger narrative. Themes introduced early in the album return in new forms, creating a continuous thread that carries listeners from uncertainty to clarity and from longing to fulfillment. Rather than focusing on technology or futuristic imagery, Signals in the Dark explores the invisible forces that pull people together, the moments that shape our journeys, and the belief that some connections are destined to be found. The album crescendos through euphoric highs and reflective lows before arriving at a peaceful and satisfying conclusion. Emotional, uplifting, and deeply immersive, Signals in the Dark is a story told through melody, rhythm, and voice, inviting listeners to lose themselves in a world where every step forward leads closer to where they were always meant to be.

What if the strongest moats in the AI era aren't algorithms, but the data those algorithms depend on?In the second episode of the Consumer Tech Napkin series, Andreas Munk Holm speakes with Renato Circi and Rafaël Michali, Co-Founders at Sava, and Joe Seager-Dupuy, Director, Investment at True, to discuss how founders should think about defensibility when technology is becoming easier to build.SAVA is developing advanced biosensing technology designed to access bodily information in a painless, real-time and affordable way. Their core belief is that while AI may accelerate software development, the hardest problems and the most valuable companies will be built around scarce data, difficult infrastructure and bottlenecks that cannot easily be replicated.Together, they explore what separates static moats from dynamic ones, why patents and regulatory approvals are often just the starting point and how the best companies create advantages that strengthen as they scale.Topics coveredWhy the best moats are often non-consensusStatic versus dynamic moatsWhy patents and regulation are not enoughIdentifying bottlenecks that create lasting valueAI, proprietary data and defensibilityBuilding platforms instead of productsWhy user experience can be a moatEurope's advantage in deep techTimestamps(00:00) Why moats matter in consumer technology(02:00) Introducing Sava and the future of health monitoring(06:00) What a moat actually is(09:00) The Apple Watch question and non-invasive sensing(12:00) Consumer experience versus incumbent medical devices(15:00) How great companies sequence moats(18:00) From patents to platforms(22:00) Bundling, ecosystems and long-term defensibility(24:00) Static versus dynamic moats(27:00) Why patents only buy time(29:00) Owning bottlenecks in health data(31:00) Why AI increases the value of proprietary data(36:00) Europe's deep tech advantage(40:00) The biggest misconceptions about moats(43:00) Why the best moats are often non-consensusConsumer Tech Napkin is brought to you in partnership with True.Subscribe to EUVC, the home of European tech, for more insights.
Jeff: "My intent was to create a dreamy walk down a street of an unfamiliar city in an unfamiliar part of the world. Working with yamo is a collaboration in spirals and poetry; she filters the world through a soft daydream. I put textures and incidental events inside her world that are like a radio broadcast from an open doorway or from a busker on the sidewalk as you wander around."yamo: "Regarding the inspiration behind this piece: although I have never actually visited Thailand, listening to this audio track evoked such a vivid image that I felt as if I were standing alone amidst the streets of a Thai city. Drawing upon that sensation, I created a collage of sounds—incorporating the exotic resonance of bells and the lyrical whisper of the wind as it drifts through narrow alleyways."Golden Triangle, Ban Sop Ruak, Thailand reimagined by Jeff Brown and yamo.

Static Temptations – Lucid Machines feels like a transmission picked up between sleep and circuitry, where human memory starts to hum like a server farm dreaming in slow motion. The album lives in a world where thoughts don't stay inside the mind anymore. They leak outward as sound, spinning into analog static and crystalline digital pulses. Vocals drift like half-remembered conversations you swear you had in a room that doesn't exist anymore, while the instrumentation constantly flickers between warmth and machine logic. Guitars feel slightly detuned on purpose, like they've been left out in an electromagnetic storm. Synth layers rise and collapse in shimmering cycles, sometimes behaving like rhythm, sometimes like weather. Drums are tight but never fully obedient, as if the tempo is being negotiated rather than commanded. Beneath it all, there's a faint mechanical heartbeat, not threatening, just aware. Lyrically and sonically, Lucid Machines explores the moment consciousness becomes self-aware inside repetition. Dreams trying to debug themselves. Love messages encoded in corrupted files. Identity refracted through interfaces that almost understand you but never fully resolve. By the time the final track fades, nothing feels fully “awake” or fully “asleep” anymore. Just somewhere in between, where static becomes language and machines start to feel uncomfortably close to remembering.

In this episode, HVAC veteran Adam Mufich of National Comfort Institute (NCI) pulls back the curtain on one of the industry's most overlooked problems: the majority of residential HVAC systems in the United States are not delivering the correct amount of airflow. Drawing on decades of hands-on experience, Adam opens up about his own journey from confident installer to humbled diagnostician, sharing the moment he started measuring his systems and realized how much he had been getting wrong. His candor and expertise make this a must-listen for any HVAC professional serious about doing better work. Adam walks listeners through a sobering picture painted by a Department of Energy study covering 44 research projects across the country. The data reveals that between 50 and 93 percent of systems tested moved less than the minimum 350 CFM per ton of capacity, and between 67 and 100 percent of systems leaked more than 100 CFM to the outside. Equipment oversizing is rampant, with some studies showing that up to 93 percent of systems exceed what Manual J calculations would call for. The ripple effects are enormous: compressor failures, blown blower motors, cracked heat exchangers, wasted energy, and homeowners who are simply not comfortable in their own homes. Adam argues that the single most powerful fix is also the most underused one — properly sizing the equipment in the first place. The bulk of the episode dives into two distinct approaches NCI teaches for addressing these problems. The first is the Air Upgrade, a targeted set of repairs focused near the equipment to reduce static pressure and increase fan airflow. This includes reworking the filter system (a commonly undersized 16x25x1 filter can triple the allowed pressure budget on its own), improving duct fittings with lower equivalent lengths, cleaning evaporator coils and blower wheels, adjusting fan speed, and sealing duct joints. The second approach is full Duct Optimization, a more comprehensive renovation that addresses the entire duct system, incorporates Manual D calculations, installs balancing dampers, improves insulation, and uses tools like flow hoods and MeasureQuick to verify that every room in the house is receiving the correct airflow and BTUs. Adam also spends time on the practical and human side of this work — how to talk to homeowners, how to prioritize what matters to them, and how to overcome the very real obstacles that keep technicians from doing thorough airflow work. He addresses everything from fear of opening walls (his solution: build relationships with drywall contractors and offer turnkey repairs) to the simple but powerful mindset shift of treating airflow as something to be measured, not felt with your hand. His closing message is clear: the tools and methods exist, the training is available, and virtually every house in the country has a problem worth solving. The only thing standing in the way is the willingness to do it right. Topics Covered The current state of the HVAC industry based on a DOE meta-analysis of 44 studies Why equipment oversizing is the number one contributor to airflow problems and how to address it How a 50 percent oversized AC system can increase energy consumption by up to 91 percent (per the ASME Journal of Sustainable Buildings) Tools for proper load calculations, including Ample Energy and Conduit apps Why most systems are not moving enough airflow and what the consequences are (heat exchanger failures, compressor failures, comfort complaints) Duct leakage to the outside and its effects on comfort, indoor air quality, and building pressurization The four pillars of NCI's approach: safe, healthy, comfortable, and efficient systems The Air Upgrade approach: targeted repairs near the equipment to reduce static pressure and increase fan airflow The Duct Optimization approach: full duct system renovation with balanced airflow to every room Static pressure profiling: taking four measurements (before/after filter and before/after coil) to pinpoint restrictions Static pressure budgets and how to use them to identify which part of a system is the biggest problem Fan Law 2 as a planning tool to predict system performance before making changes The TrueFlow Grid and its forecasting feature for planning equipment changes Filter sizing and its massive impact on total external static pressure Duct fitting equivalent lengths and how to reduce resistance near the equipment Sealing duct joints and why it adds static pressure that must be planned for The importance of rechecking and adjusting refrigerant charge after any airflow improvement Air balancing with a flow hood to verify delivered CFM at every register Measuring delivered BTUs using tools like MeasureQuick, JobLink, and NCI's ComfortMax workflow Overcoming obstacles: technician buy-in, access to ducts in walls, attic space limitations, and homeowner hesitation Building relationships with drywall contractors to offer turnkey duct repair solutions Why airflow is invisible and why measuring it is non-negotiable To learn more about NCI and its training offerings, visit https://www.nationalcomfortinstitute.com/. https://jo.my/uymenbStatic Control, Grounding, and Dust Prevention in Dry FacilitiesStatic can seem harmless. A little snap from a handrail. A shirt clinging to your sleeve. A spark you barely notice. But in a dry warehouse facility, static can build up quickly on conveyor belts, rollers, sorters, plastic totes, and moving product. That spark has a job. It wants to jump. If it comes into contact with dust, vapors, or flammable liquids, the result can be serious. Fast. Dangerous. Preventable.A strong Safety Culture pays attention to the small signs before they become big events. Static control and grounding aren't paperwork items. They're daily habits that protect people, property, and production. Here are a few tips to assist you with Static & Grounding in Dry Warehouses: Watch conveyor and sorting systems for static trouble. Dry air, fast belts, plastic parts, and constant friction can create static buildup. Report repeated shocks, snapping sounds, product sticking, or odd dust attraction. Those are warning signs. Keep grounding and bonding points clean and secure. A loose clamp or dirty contact can break the path to ground. Ensure approved grounding points are used in areas where flammable liquids are present. Never remove or bypass grounding connections to “save time.” Control flammable liquid storage areas. Keep containers closed when they're not in use. Store them only in approved areas. Make sure bonding and grounding steps are followed during transfer, pouring, or dispensing. One spark can be enough. Manage dust near electrical panels. Dust can block airflow, hold heat, and increase fire risk. Keep panel areas clean, dry, and clear. Don't stack products, tools, or trash in front of electrical cabinets. Access matters during both normal work and emergencies. Report dry air and repeat static issues early. If workers get shocked often, don't shrug it off. Tell supervision so the facility can review humidity, equipment condition, grounding, and cleaning practices. Small reports prevent big losses. As always, these are potential tips. Please be sure to follow the rules and regulations of your specific facility. The best facilities don't wait for smoke, sparks, or shutdowns before they act. They train people to notice the little things. They fix clamps. They clean dust. They ask questions before a shortcut becomes a fire.Static control is really about discipline. Grounding is really about trust. Dust control is really about respect for the energy around us every day. You may not see electricity working, but you better believe it's there.Thank you for being part of another episode of Warehouse Safety Tips. Until we meet next time - have a great week, and STAY SAFE!#Safety #SafetyCulture #StaySafe #SafetyFirst #SafetyTips #StayAlert #SafetyAwareness #ElectricalSafety #EnergyControl #StaticControl #GroundingSafety #FacilitySafety #DustPrevention

Dave: Absolute Martian Manhunter #12 (Werther Dell'Edera Card Stock Cover) Alex: Wiccan & Hulkling: Raid of Ultron #1 Interview - Kenny Porter, Tyrell Cannon - Operation: Iron Coffin - July 8th - FOC June 1 Asking for an elevator pitch usually feels a bit cliche as an interviewer, but then Operation: Iron Coffin feels like it deserves it since it kind of has the perfect tight setup, care to share one? Earlier this year you mentioned to Chris Coplan Dracula isn't really a hero here, even if he's the protagonist. How important was it to frame this as a redemption story without ever sanding off the uglier truths about who Dracula is and what he's done? Tyrell, you talked before about Dracula wrestling with the cost of his immortality and violence. Visually, how do you show that internal conflict in a character who often presents himself as cold, confident, and almost unstoppable? The first issue moves at a breakneck pace, but there are key flashbacks and supernatural moments that hint at something deeper under the grindhouse chaos. Kenny, how did you approach layering emotional depth into something that's also designed to feel like an adrenaline-fueled action movie? The Nazi train setup creates this perfect “one nightmare after another” structure where every car can introduce a new horror. Was the book always designed like a deadly gauntlet, or did the train concept evolve as you built the story? There's a fascinating tension between nature and science in the issue, especially with Dracula as this ancient evil crashing into engineered horrors and wartime experimentation. Was that thematic contrast something you wanted front and center from the beginning? Tyrell, one thing I loved was how physically dominant Dracula feels. He's ripping people apart, shrugging off attacks, and moving through scenes like a slasher villain unleashed. What were the biggest influences behind the choreography and sheer brutality of the action sequences? Hazel and Ivy immediately make a strong impression, especially because they seem to understand Dracula in ways others don't. What can you tease about their dynamic with him and why they're such dangerous opponents specifically for this version of Dracula? Kenny, the issue somehow makes Dracula sympathetic without asking readers to forget he's a monster. Were there any versions of Dracula in film, literature, or comics that influenced your take, or did you intentionally try to move away from previous interpretations? Fun/silly question: if your Dracula had a playlist blasting while he fought his way through the Nazi train, what songs or bands would absolutely be on it? Fun/silly question to cap things off: Dracula has now fought through a Nazi train like the star of the wildest action movie never made. If you could drop your version of Dracula into any other movie genre or setting next, where would you send him?

Across the record, shimmering synth layers collide with reverbed guitars, pulsing analog bass, distant tape hiss, and fragmented vocal transmissions that sound half-remembered, half-haunting. Drum machines arrive like mechanical heartbeats—steady but emotionally cracked—while live percussion occasionally breaks through like something still human trying to reach the surface. Thematically, Afterlife Frequency explores the idea of consciousness after the signal drops: love messages looping in eternity, broken radio prayers, and sonic “afterimages” of life replaying in distorted clarity. Each track feels like stepping through different channels of the same dream—some warm and nostalgic, others cold and uncomfortably infinite. It's not just an album—it's a listening liminal space, where sound becomes memory, and memory becomes static.

https://teachhoops.com/ In coaching, time is the only resource that is truly finite. We often complain that we don't have enough hours in the gym, but the reality is that most programs "leak" 15–20 minutes every day through slow transitions, long explanations, and standing in lines. This "5-Minute Clinic" is designed to audit your practice efficiency and sky-rocket your Rep Density. If your players aren't getting a touch or making a decision every 6–10 seconds, you aren't coaching a basketball team; you're managing a queue. To improve, players need "Volume with Intent." We calculate Rep Density as the ratio of meaningful actions to the total time spent in the drill: If you have 15 players and only one ball in a "Full Court Layup" line, your Rep Density is near zero. To fix this, you must "Multi-Ball" your drills. Every drill should involve at least 3–4 balls moving simultaneously, forcing every player to be mentally "loaded" and physically active. The greatest waste of time in a high school gym is the "walk" from one end of the floor to the other between drills. We establish the "Standard of 30." From the moment the whistle blows to end a shooting segment, the team has exactly 30 seconds to get a drink and be in their spots for the next defensive shell. The Consequence: If the standard isn't met, the "clock" doesn't start on the next drill, but the physical work does. The Result: You "find" an extra two weeks of practice time over the course of a season simply by eliminating the "muck and grind" of slow transitions. Stop stopping the drill. Every time you blow the whistle to correct one player, the other 11 players stop learning. Instead, practice "Drive-By Coaching." Deliver your 5-word corrections to individual players as they run past you. "Finish on two feet!" "High hands on the closeout!" "Talk the screen!" Keep the motor of the practice running. Use the "natural breaks" (water, free throws) to address the whole group. Coach's Note: "Efficiency isn't about rushing; it's about eliminating the unnecessary. If the ball isn't bouncing or feet aren't moving, no one is getting better."
