New podcast weblog
I love interviewing my students or anybody I come across who has some personal insights what the Frankfurt relocation experience is all about. In this podcast I actually spoke to a number of MBA students from South America, India, Pakistan, Canada and the USA. The first part is in English and the second part in German. Why? Because one thing is for sure; if you plan to move to Germany and to study or work here, you have to learn German. The level you should strive for is the B1-B2 level. This means anything between 350 to 600 hours (45 minutes/hour). If you want to get started on this exciting voyage, contact me for skype training. www.lisa-soules.de
Podcast is in German (Deutsch A2). Students have some important and personal accounts: 1. Bring rain jacket 2. Learn German (aim at B2 for job interviews) 3. Frankfurt is international and you can get by in English 4. Do not walk on bike path 5. Bring cash because lots of restaurants (hairdressers, retail etc.) prefer cash 6. Get used to eating a lot of meet and bread. 7. Make friends 8. Organize yourself because shops are closed on Sundays. 9. Expect a lot of complicated bureaucratic paperwork. 10. You have to register before opening a bank account. Relocating to Franfurt?www.lisa-soules.de
