Scott Ingram from Relationship One and Sales Succes Stories fame gave us some time on Salescast this week. We talk about the nature of the SDR role and getting started in sales. Scott takes stories from top sales pros in his book and on his podcast, but this time, Scott gets to tell his story. Off the air, we talked about how there's two buttons sales people like to get pressed. One is the cash button, and the other is the recognition button. The cash button still hasn't worn off for me. Scott talks about the importance of finding not only just one mentor, but multiple and that success does not come overnight.
