    The King is in Double Trouble

    SCT Jr 2020 Online Program is proud to present The King is in Double Trouble a play written by Terence Patrick Hughes and directed by Sara St. Pierre The King is in Double Trouble is an adaptation of the ancient Asian chessboard myth. A medieval court is turned upside down when a mathematically challenged king is too proud to admit his problem with math problems and winds up in a chessboard wager with a wise man, which may wind up bankrupting the kingdom! A wild cast of supporting characters try to help their leader by introducing the importance (and the fun!) of Math and urging the king to realize that pride should never be a prime factor in life.     SCT Jr 2020 Online Program is proud to present The Pirate Treasure a play written by Andy Pavey and directed by Alex Freitas The Pirate Treasure is a tale of the most monstrous monsters and most villainous villains this side of the Seven Seas! – well, if the pirates and the narrator can stay awake! On a forbidden island, buried treasure is fabled to be hidden. A bumbling crew must weather a terrible storm, battle pirates and an angry Kraken if they hope to unearth the ancient treasure.     SCT Jr 2020 Online Program is proud to present The Bremen Town Rock Musicians a play written by Rhonwen McCormack and directed by John Thiel The Bremen Town Rock Musicians is an adaptation of the classic fairy tale. When various farm animals get fired from their jobs, they do the most logical thing - they set off to Bremen to become rock stars! Tired and hungry from the journey, they come upon a cozy house and decide to play some music in hopes of gaining food and shelter from the owners. As it turns out, the owners are actually bank robbers and when they hear the caterwauling outside, they fear it’s the police and it’ quickly becomes pandemonium! This is a charming fairy tale adaptation for all ages!     SCT Jr 2020 Online Program is proud to present Robin Hood a play written by Andy Pavey and directed by James Reed Robin Hood is a hilarious adaptation of the English folktale. In this play for children, Robin Hood and his merry crew are all birds! When they find themselves chased by an unknown enemy, they have to get past the toll bridge operator in order to escape. The operator is Little John, a very large cow, who is demanding far more money than any of them have. After a tragic swordfight and rapid recovery, Little John joins the gang to help them steal birdseed from the royal birdfeeder. Unfortunately, the Sheriff of Nottingham has rigged it with PEANUT BUTTER! Will our heroes survive the sticky situation before getting captured? Find out in this swashbuckling comedy!
