The old adage “it takes a village to raise a child” is truly realized when we come into contact with those who are void of any village. In this episode, we chat with Alana Dennis and Sarah Tribuzzo about the reality of children living in vulnerable situations and the need for support systems that prioritize family reunification. Foster care and Safe Families are two examples of this kind of support that Alana and Sarah are invested in and reflect on here. This conversation helps us to think through the beauty and brokenness connected to caring for children and parents in vulnerable environments.Mentions in this EpisodeCaring for KidsSafe Families ClevelandIf you want more information about the podcast or want to say hello, visit storiedcitiespodcast.com.
