His distance of 151.489 miles was enough to earn him a spot on Team USA's 24 Hour team at the World Championships in October ... for now. The qualifying window ends May 26, so if another American man runs more than 151.489, he won't be on the team anymore except as an alternate. We are hoping he won't get knocked off! This passage of the book of Proverbs starts with the wellspring that God waters us with. Such wellspring Christ spoke of during His ministry, saying that no one will thirst if they rely on this wellspring to quench them all the days of their lives. This wellspring is nothing short of the fruit of the Spirit Himself. Those of love, joy, peace and excitement over every day as it is a gift from God. The passage then splits up into speaking regarding a fork in the road that separates pleasantness and maliciousness. Highlighting that we become human when we are described as prudent. Such prudence dominates over one's life in the way he labors. The source of his life becomes God, who is His only Provider.

When a porn/sex addict enters recovery, their personality can shift drastically, often surprising their partner. Many addicts who once seemed pleasant, passive, or easygoing suddenly become irritable, defensive, or even aggressive. This shift is largely due to the withdrawal process, in which they must face emotions they have long avoided through addiction. Many addicts began using their addiction as an emotional escape at a young age, leading to stunted emotional development. After enduring deception, emotional turmoil, and the initial shock of addiction, they are now faced with an unpredictable partner who seems more difficult than ever. Many partners experience fear and uncertainty, questioning whether their partner's previous personality was just a mask created by addiction. Additionally, the shifting dynamics in the relationship can be jarring—while addiction often fosters avoidance and passivity, recovery forces the addict to engage more actively in their emotions, sometimes in an unhealthy or unregulated way. This can leave partners feeling stuck in an emotional whirlwind, unsure of how to proceed or whether healing is even possible.In a previous PBSE podcast, Mark & Steve talk about how it is very normal and understandable for a Betrayed Partner to Feel Resentment Toward Her Addict Partner! How can She Manage This?!Despite these challenges, there are ways for both addicts and their partners to navigate this difficult stage. Episode No. 691 features artists Kota Ezawa and Amy Pleasant.  The Fort Mason Center for Arts & Culture is presenting "Kota Ezawa: Here and There - Now and Then," an investigation into the creation of memory in the Bay Area and nationally, through March 9. The exhibition, organized in collaboration with the San Francisco Museum of Modern Art, features Ezawa and Julian Brave NoiseCat's Alcatraz Is an Idea (2024), and Merzbau 1, 2, 3 (2021), and Ursonate (2022), which were among 11 Ezawas recently acquired by SFMOMA. "Ezawa" was curated by Frank Smigiel. Fort Mason will publish a catalogue on the closing weekend. SFMOMA is showing Ezawa's National Anthem (2018) in "Count Me In"  through April 27. Ezawa's work has been featured in solo exhibitions at many museums, including the Baltimore Museum of Art, the Chrysler Museum of Art, Norfolk, VA; the Buffalo AKG Art Museum; the Vancouver Art Gallery, Canada; and the Saint Louis Art Museum. His work is in the collection most major US art museums, and in museums in seven other countries.  Pleasant is included in "Synchronicities: Intersecting Figuration with Abstraction" at the Bemis Center for Contemporary Arts, Omaha. The exhibition examines some of the ways in which nine artists have recently navigated the space between abstraction and figuration. "Synchronicities" was curated by Rachel Adams, and is on view through May 4. Pleasant's work is also on view at The Carnegie, Covington, KY in "Southern Democratic" through February 15, and in "Vivid: A Fresh Take" at the Hunter Museum of American Art, Chattanooga, TN through June 1.  Pleasant has been included in exhibitions at the Knoxville Museum of Art, the Montgomery (Ala.)
