On the season finale of Tattletale, our guest is Olivia Britz-Wheat. Olivia talks about how she knew she wanted to be a tattoo artist at an early age and how she eventually landed in Portland. We talk about what it’s like to laser off a tattoo as well as the intricacies of a palm tattoo. Olivia also talks about the varying pain degrees of a stick and poke, a gushing Prince tattoo and many other tattoo tales.

On this week’s episode of Tattletale our guest is Libby Smith. Libby talks about overcoming various difficulties ranging from a near death experience, celebrating her sisters, overcoming multiple heartbreaks, and the birth of her daughter. We also talk about some of Libby’s interests including archery, deers, fairies and DJing.

On the 7th episode of Tattletale we speak with Nishat Ahktar about the important role animals play in Nishat’s life including a book about rabbit refugees. We call a half defunct hotline that was intended to play the music of Philadelphia’s greatest rock & roll duo on demand. We talk about growing up with immigrant parents as well as commiserate in the Asian disappointment and shame on when her mom discovered her first tattoo. On the 6th episode of Tattletale we speak to Jeremiah Mandel. We talk about how his first tattoo was inspired by an early 2000s one hit wonder rap/rock fusion band. We also cover a range of artists that have influenced his tattoos including Alphonse Mucha to Futura, and from The Smiths to Drake to the Grateful Dead. We talk about how much his travels, his family and his friends’ shared experiences mean to him and discuss the meaning of the word “forever” and why he got it tattooed.

Our guest for episode 5 of Tattletale is Jupiter Desphy III, a native of Nevada, by way of Los Angeles. We talk about what the number 3 means to him, including an unexpected kinship with Dale Earnhardt fanatics. We also talk about his experiences at Shamrock Social Club including a session where the Mongols MC crash in. We talk about how important his family is to him, especially his mother’s side as well as a skateboard injury that would forever change his life.

Reed Moses talks about growing up biracial, his southern roots, the importance of education in his family and his eventual journey out West. He speaks about the role brotherhood has behind some of his tattoos. He also talks about the loves of his life as well as remembering a love lost.
