Musical artist Maiah Manser joins the Abstract to discuss her recent EP "Second Skin," and it's highly symbolic themes of identity, personal rebirth, and the struggle to separate truth from illusion in one's past memories. We also dive into the production techniques and the collaborative studio experience that led to the record's creation. A strong voice in more ways than one, Maiah is outspoken about the importance of standing up for oneself as a female artist, and being unafraid to provoke discomfort in listeners with artistic statements that seek to uproot sexism in society.
