McGuinness has been brought in to lead the company's global sales efforts, scale revenue-generating operations, and build a repeatable sales engine capable of supporting long-term growth. McGuinness brings more than 21 years of experience in enterprise and technology sales, with a proven track record of building and scaling sales teams at both early-stage startups and high-growth companies. Since joining Nextech3D.ai, he has already recruited two additional sales professionals, completing a fully staffed sales organization that blends long-tenured Nextech team members with experienced new hires. In tandem with this, Verification of Payee (VoP) will also be introduced for both SEPA Instant and standard SEPA payments. The services are being introduced as part of the EU's Instant Payments Regulation and will come into effect from 9 October 2025. While the benefits of faster transactions and enhanced security are obvious, there may be some teething problems in the initial stages. Uneven rollout across Irish banks may cause short-term confusion or fragmented service, and VoP does not entirely eliminate scams or social-engineering risks. Dorothy McGuinness is a contemporary basket weaver who lives and works in Everett, Washington. She took her first basketmaking class in 1987 and has studied basket-weaving techniques that have been handed down through the centuries. Dorothy has worked extensively with Jiro Yonezawa, a contemporary Japanese basket maker and teacher. She discovered her medium of choice in 2000, when she took a workshop with Jackie Abrams, who introduced her to watercolor paper as a basket-weaving material. She now works exclusively in diagonal twills and mad weave, creating contemporary sculptural baskets, and enjoys exploring the interplay of weaving, color, and design in her sculptural woven paper pieces.
