The Isolation Chamber

The series continues, picking up several months after the events of part 11. Sam & Dr. Miller have left Brendan's life. Brendan has found stardom as the world's most successful performance artist. Over the course of the episode, Brendan receives visits from various characters and accumulates knowledge about the state of his soul. Produced by the great John Dios.

Brendan listens to more of lights of love, and calls a sex hotline. The Nameless's goon finds a new job. George Murphy takes a chance on love. Sam gets his light pills. Sam pitches a book idea. Calvin Shade reconsiders his position on Brendan. Brendan goes to Dr. Miller's and finds him missing. Brendan begins reading "Lights of Love." George Murphy meets with his priest and tells the story of his would-be affair with Julia Castro. Sam and Julia Castro investigate the Nameless Corporation. Brendan goes back into the chamber. Sam buys a gun. Brendan attends a seminar on how to pick up waitresses. Julia Castro continues to investigate Dr. Miller & Sam.

After Brendan's awful last trip to the chamber, he goes back to Dr. Miller to get an explanation for what happened, and who's haunting him. Sam continues his pursuit of Dr. Miller at his own expense. We meet some new characters who have an official interest in the case. After the humiliation of his disastrous performance at the Masikon Gallery, Brendan meets the seductive art journalist Monica, who persuades Brendan to take a mystery pill and go in The Isolation Chamber while on it, which leads to Brendan's most intense chamber experience yet. Sam travels to the Arizona Medical Board to investigate Dr. Miller, leading him to a phone call with attorney Joel Greenberg. Brendan puts on his performance, "Locked In." Worried about him, Sam's AA sponsor sends him a special recording of a speaker at a Sex & Love Addicts Anonymous meeting. Brendan has a bad dream and listens to a strange radio program. The next day, he rehearses his new performance piece and finds a venue willing to put it on. Sam, frightened for his best friend's mind, vows to pursue the mysterious Dr. Miller. With the concept for his performance piece revised, Brendan prays for the return of his Angelic Vision and heads back into the Isolation Chamber. Some new strange visions provide Brendan with clues about the secrets of the chamber. With his self-doubt in check for now, Brendan returns to Dr. Miller with a concept for a project. However, once inside the chamber he is confronted with some female visions - some familiar, some not - and they recalibrate his heart.
