Two book-loving friends discussing the books they read and the boys they date.
Welcome to episode 10! In this episode we discuss our birthday book wishes and our longing for cooler weather. We are both absolutely sick of the heatwave. We also talk about Where The Crawdads Sing by Delia Owens, which we both absolutely loved and we had a great time discussing it. Join us in reading The Romantic Agenda by Claire Kann for next episode in two weeks!
Hello friends! We both got very busy over the last month so this episode, although recorded on schedule, took a lot longer to edit and release. We got some new microphones, so we are hoping that the sound is a lot better than before. However, there might be some distracting background noise in this episode. We are learning as we go, and now we know that we have to soundproof everything, especially with our fancy new mics lol In this episode we talked about It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover and we get into a pretty good discussion about what people are willing to put up with for love and about breaking generational trauma cycles. Enjoy!
Welcome to our new listeners! We are so happy that there are more of you! In this episode we discuss Funny You Should Ask by Elissa Sussman. This was definitely a book that we enjoyed and we had a lot of fun discussing celebrity crushes and double dates. This episode is available on Spotify, Apple Podcasts, and Anchor. Our next episode will be out on July 23 where we will be talking about It Ends With Us by Colleen Hoover!
In today's episode we interview our very first published author, Rae Garg, about her debut middle grade novel, Bee Bee Journey of a Spirit Animal. We loved getting to hear about her process and what she hopes that this book can accomplish. Her book is available today June 11, 2022 on Amazon and Barnes & Noble. In this episode we discuss I Kissed Shara Wheeler by Casey McQuiston. A great read for Pride Month! In this episode we drink some (a lot of) wine and talk about kissing boys and the importance of being able to be who you truly are. And some more exciting news: we will be having author, Rae Garg as a guest on our next episode to discuss her debut novel Bee Bee Journey of a Spirit Animal.
In this episode we discuss Ramon and Julieta by Alana Quintana Albertson, a romance novel with lots of tacos and so many novela vibes. We also get in to a discussion about ghosting and share some of our past experiences with it. If you'd like to join us with out next read, make sure to pick up I Kissed Shara Wheeler by our absolute queen Casey McQuiston and look for a new episode on May 27th!
We went on an adventure! In this episode we talk about the trip we took to the LA Times Festival of Books, meeting in Casey McQuiston, and sharing a haul of all the books we bought.
After a very long and very unanticipated hiatus, we're back! In this episode we discussed People We Meet On Vacation by Emily Henry and we unintentionally give more details on how hopelessly romantic we really are. FYI we REALLY tried to avoid spoilers since this is a new release but for the most part we failed so please be aware if you would not like to be spoiled for this book. Book recommendations in this episode: Sadie by Courtney Summers and History is All You Left Me by Adam Silvera.
In this episode we walk you through a book we mentioned in episode 1: Red, White and Royal Blue by Casey McQuistion. We are also joined by our very good friend Angel Espinoza. Expect spoilers and lots of talk about how this book wrecked us emotionally. This week's book recommendation: Lets Explore Diabetes with Owls by David Sedaris
In this episode we talk a little bit about ourselves and share our thoughts on One Last Stop by our queen Casey McQuiston.
