Send us a textAlong the towpath, the battle between winter and spring has begun with days of warmth and days of sleet. Although even the young ducks teach us a lesson in conflict avoidance. Join us tonight as we celebrate the lives of two people who were central to the creation of Nighttime on Still Waters. Journal entry:12th March, Wednesday.“The day winds down.A last walk along the canal side.Pebbled rings form in the open water.A kick of sleetDrives against my face.Captivated by the golden sunShining through rain mist.Such unimagined golds.Behind meA pale rainbowBows and fades to such majesty.” Episode Information:This episode is dedicated to the memory to two people without whom this podcast would not have been created: Michael Goode and Clifford DeHaven. Among many things, Clifford was a great musician. One of his musical incarnations was as 'Mournful Hornet' which seemed to capture his offbeat character and heart. You can hear him on SoundCloud. This week on NAFC, Izzy and Mox share their thoughts on The Witcher: Sirens of the Deep—does it do the franchise justice, or is it just another attempt to keep the hype alive? Meanwhile, Mox takes a deep dive into NeZha 2 to see if it actually lives up to the buzz or if it's all just flashy animation with no soul. The gang also gets into a discussion about cutting-edge sci-fi tech that's happening right now—because the future is here, and we're probably still not ready for it. Finally, they close out the Dafoe Show theme with Nightmare Alley, breaking down its noir aesthetic, psychological tension, and, of course, Willem Dafoe doing what he does best: being completely mesmerizing. Friday afternoon means a fresh episode of Oilersnation Radio is ready to lead you into the weekend. On today's podcast, the fellas discussed Jeff Skinner's spot in the lineup, Viktor Arvidsson's goal against the Blackhawks, Noah Philp being loaned to Bakersfield, and much more.We kicked off the Friday episode of ONR with a delicious debate about Jeff Skinner's spot in the lineup and whether he's doing enough to keep himself in the top six. Given that the winger has played well over the last handful of games, will that be enough for Kris Knoblauch? Or will the Oilers' coach continue to mix up his lines in the hopes of finding the perfect fit? As you'll hear, everyone is cautiously optimistic about Skinner's game, but everyone is still a little gun-shy based on his usage so far this season.Changing gears, we looked at Viktor Arvidsson's big goal against the Chicago Blackhawks and whether that beautiful snipe gave us some excitement that could get his offence going. Given that the Oilers paid him a bunch of money to score goals, having only seven on the year is certainly concerning, but that also means there's more there than we're seeing. We also touched on the Oilers loaning Noah Philp back to the Condors ahead of the 4 Nations break and how it's important that he keeps playing instead of sitting around here in Edmonton. We then looked at some recent quotes from Stan Bowman regarding his plans for the trade deadline. As you'll hear, it sounds like the Oilers are seeking depth as opposed to a major acquisition, but there's also no way that he's going to tip his entire hand. When asked about the goaltending, Bowman gave his vote of confidence for his goaltending tandem after there's been a lot of noise about upgraded that position. Finally, we wrapped up the Friday episode of the podcast with a random collection of topics, including some prop bets for Friday's Oilers game against the Avalanche, some Ask the Idiots questions from listeners, and Hot and Cold Performers to recap the best and worst moments from the past seven days. As always, the boys were all over the map with their answers, but that's the joy of opening up the end of the podcast for a little bit of shenanigans.

Today on the Matt Walsh Show, on their way out the door, the Biden Administration attempted to install a new constitutional amendment just by declaring that it exists. What a game last night. Suppose those Washington Commanders tried to tell us, eh? Joe Whitt compared this team to the 2010 Packers and now that statement is looking prophetic. Dan Quinn's club lit it up at Ford Field. Now, we inch closer to the main event: the Baltimore Ravens at the Buffalo Bills. We've all been dissecting this matchup to the point of becoming hoarse — but for good reason. Josh Allen and Lamar Jackson are must-see TV. Legacies are on the line across the board. Called out sick last week, and both teams made some solid moves. Dodgers sign infield utility Hye-Seong Kim and trade Gavin Lux for some prospects. Is the unicorn able to fight off Father Time another year? And it is reported the Giants want to add another bat before the season. Are they going to make a big splash in free agency or trade? Or will a mild upgrade do to compete for a playoff spot? Does the Padres family drama take them out of Roki Sasaki running? Who will win the sweepstakes? Or was it the Dodgers all along? The Chicago Bears lose 2 more games during the holiday season and there's not much joy at Hallas Hall. The Chicago Bears seem to be thinking about vacation and forget there's one more game left in the season. Not only is it the last game of the season, but it is against their archrivals the Green Bay Packers, who have a locked playoff spot whether it's seed 7 or 6, this is against your number one rival. For a team that has lost its focus, they need to be 100% zoned in. Is it too much to ask for the Bears to be 100% focused on this last game of the season? Possibly, however, with the holiday season over, the New Year doesn't seem to have much more magic for the Chicago Bears organization.

Two, because I was given a Divine synchronistic sign that indeed I needed to do a final episode on it!On this very last Identify & Heal solo episode (not only of the year but of ALL TIME as I'm changing the solo episode format in 2025) I offer some inspiration on setting yourself free for infinite possibilities in your future and review the message of the Magician in the Mirror who asks you to focus ONLY on what you want!https://archangeloracle.com/2014/02/01/magician-and-the-mirror/Join the Women Waken Community on Instagram Here: https://tinyurl.com/522duz2c Feel free to reach out to me to see how we can work together and send your questions, feedback, and requests for future solo episodes here: Whitney Walker, LMFTLicense # 107082www.WomenWaken.comhttps://www.psychologytoday.com/profi...Whitney@WomenWaken.comIG: @Womenwaken
In a rerun of an *absolute hit* episode from last holiday season, we're talkin' Thingies with Alison Roman, the woman behind a SLEW of recipes we cook all the dang time. We know you know her, but JIC, she's the author of NYT bestselling—and gifty!—cookbooks Sweet Enough, Nothing Fancy, and Dining In, she doles out the most delightful kitchen content in A Newsletter and on her Home Movies YouTube channel, and she delivers guidance of all kinds on her Solicited Advice podcast. In essence: She's full of thoughts, and we want them all. First things first, what we would bring to a pilot kid-gift swap (thx, Leslie!): Spirograph, Yellow Owl Workshop DIY Pin & Flair Kit, Bastien Contraire Stencil Kit, Majo Ideas Art Pack, and Pop Tubes. Alison's tabletop Thingies include beeswax candles (try Greentree Home Candle—maybe in the sangria color?!), candle holders *in general* (e.g., this Sophie Lou Jacobson one), and interesting serving platters including Bordallo Pinheiro's. For the bod, she loves using Laneige's lip mask as lip balm, and Davines's Vegetarian Miracle Mask for her hair. On the food front, how about chopped fermented chilies—use them to make her Brothy Chickpeas with Calabrian Chili (and/or these chickpeas)—and, for dessert, Kolsvart gummies. Share your Thingies with us at 833-632-5463, podcast@athingortwohq.com, and @athingortwohq, or drop them in our Geneva! YAY.
