With apologies to Robert Frost for the title, we bring you an interview with Dale Clary and Paula Cline. Dale, 68, and his wife, Gale, 62, are planning to run the Disney Marathon in January 2020 as a fundraiser for Alexander County Partnership for Children, which supports children age birth to five years in the area. Dale, a Partnership Board member, discusses his passion for helping further the non-profit organization's mission. He also talks about recovering from a mid-race heart attack six years ago and how that changed his outlook. Paula serves as Executive Director for Partnership and explains the importance of the first 2,000 days of a child's life for mental, social, and physical development. She also addresses how Partnership can help families with young children and how local residents can help donate to or volunteer with the non-profit organization. As Dale notes, "It takes a village to raise a child -- and fund a child."

In this Audiorama, managing editor Micah Henry interviews Jacavian Voss, a 2019 graduate of Alexander Central High School. Jacavian was accepted to several prestigious colleges and has chosen to attend Harvard University beginning in the Fall of 2019. He explains how going to Harvard has been a dream of his for a very long time.

The Taylorsville Times' Audiorama host Micah Henry speaks with 89-year-old Gerald Harrington, last surviving member of the Dixie Ramblers bluegrass band, which played in the region around Taylorsville, North Carolina, USA, in the 1950s. His son, Dennis, also takes part in the conversation.
