We live in a world starving for purpose. Everyone wants to know why they have been placed on the earth. In this devotional episode, Matt looks at a biblical approach to what true purpose looks like. Just as a sprinter runs with purpose, so should Christians live for a purpose.

People often ask why bad things happen to good people, but the better question is why do good things happens to bad people? In this episode, Trevor explains how every human is sinful and deserving of God's wrath, but the Lord has been so gracious to allow us to live and to send His son to die for us, both of which are simply better than we deserve.

On today's episode of The White Flag Project, the boys open up a discussion about the negative effects of pornography on everyone and how there is healing, grace, and love available to all who have struggled with this. Today's episode is a little bit different from our normal episodes as the content is a little heavier. It is often said that you will become the sum of your five closest friends, but what does the Bible say about friends? What does the Bible say about how our friends impact our lives and our faith? In today's devotional, Braedon talks about the importance of surrounding ourselves with the right people and how doing so is essential to not only our success in our lives, jobs, and relationships- but most importantly, our faith.

God did not design you to walk throughout life in a reactive state to outside factors or circumstances, we are meant to look to the Lord. Where the world is happiness oriented, Christians are called to be oriented towards joy. Joy is a gift from the Lord because it offers us a life of worship and spiritual fulfillment that is not subject to circumstance or chance or outside factors, instead, it is from Jesus, based in Jesus, and reflected onto Jesus for his glory.

In this devotional episode Matt explores the question of how to be in the world but not of it. To answer this question Matt looks to the key commands Jesus gives His followers. Landing at the Sermon on the Mount, we see the idea come full circle with the command for us to be the salt and light of the world.

In life, we are prone to wander. We seek out our meaning, purpose, and fulfillment in things other than God. We can often idolize things over the Lord, creating a distance between us that ultimately leads to heartbreak on our end as well. On this episode, Matt leads a discussion with Pope and Braedon through John 6:68 on how Jesus Christ is the only thing that could ever fill us up. Where the world seeks to take away, the Lord aims to fill us up. We have no where else to go, and we wouldn't have it any other way…
