Enrique Watson is a marine veteran who spreads knowledge on starting a business and getting into fights at a young age. During this interview, Enrique explains to those planning on starting a business the different trial and tribulations that come a long with entrepreneurship. From his own personal injuries to running a gym from an entirely different location, to getting into fights at a young age, Enrique has definitely experienced his fair share of obstacles on his road to success. 

In this episode, Enrique explains how to successfully run a business while active duty in the military. While being in the military, it is often hard to manage the time to successfully run a business. Between training requirements and work schedule requirements, most times there seems to not be enough hours to go towards a business. In order to be able to accomplish having a successful business, one must dedicate their efforts and sacrifice their free time to in order to keep the momentum going. Enrique was able to not only run a gym while active duty in the Marines but also expanded and added other gyms as well.

In this episode, Enrique speaks about how he snapped his Achilles tendon on Facebook Live. As a professional MMA fighter, Enrique has definitely seen and dealt with his fair share of injuries but I don't think that he would ever imagine being on Facebook Live and snapping his achilles tendon. From shoulder surgery, to breaking his leg in a bar, to now snapping his achilles tendon, Enrique has definitely shown his warrior spirit by continuing to pursue mixed martial arts even after all the injuries.

Enrique like a lot of us found himself in a bad situation that he wasn't able to get himself out of unscratched. Sometimes no matter how much we try to avoid these type of situations, alcohol can definitely play a big part in controversial activity. Getting knocked out is something that many have dealt with and fortunately isn't the end of the world but to break your leg in the mix seems to just add insult to injury. 

In this episode, of the Veteran Influencers Podcast, Enrique Watson speaks on visualizing his Mother as a WARRIOR growing up. Enrique grew up in Peru and moved to the USA at a relatively young age. While in Peru, Enrique endured the typical struggles of a young kid while also dealing with some personal issues with other kids at school. After leaving to America, Enrique further realized how strong and tough of a woman his mother truly was.

In this episode, Jimi speaks in details about how he learned a lot from his junior Marines and how they played a key part into inspiring him to be a better leader. All too often, leaders are guilty of dismissing the ideas from junior Marines just because of the fact that they are lower ranking. Having humility is a rare trait that never gets the credit that it deserves. Being humble enough to listen to the ideas of your junior Marines, allows others to feel that their ideas are being heard and not being dismissed. This is the full interview with Jimi Banda where he speaks on why to create your OWN narrative and take care of those in need. Jimi is always giving back to those in need and still has time to ensure that others get taken care of. From everyday leadership to letters of recommendation for Marines that transition outta the military. In my experience knowing Jimi, I have seen nothing but great leadership traits from him. I remember one time that he took me to the education center when I told him that I hadn't started education yet. He stood there while I actually got signed up with a few classes and to ensure I was set up for success.

In this episode, Hugo speaks about his experiences from early childhood, to high school sports, Marine Corps experiences and also transitioning out. Hugo has now been out of the Marines for about 6 years and since has become a financial specialist. He also spends his time building his social media presence as well as conducting private consults amongst friends and family. In this episode, Hugo speaks on his experience when he was transitioning out of the Marine Corps. Not only that, he looks back on all of the missed opportunities he had where he didn't take advantage of his open schedule to capitalize on what would allow him to be more successful upon transitioning out. All too often, when the military is notified that you plan to transition out, the attention is shifted from you to those that are staying in. The military speaks about one of their roles being to make better civilians but all too often, veterans end up struggling when they get out because of lack of information or time to take care of the essential tasks required before getting out. Some have family such as myself that was in the military prior and was the main reason why I decided to join. A lot of families have created a tradition of joining the military for at least one term.
