The bulk of this chapter is dedicated to the three guṇas of sattva, rajas, and tamas within prakṛti and how one attains immortality by transcending the guṇas.
This episode discusses chapter 13 of the Bhagavad Gītā. In this episode, Kṛṣṇa explains the important concept of the kṣetra to Arjuna, as well as defining knowledge and ignorance, and prakṛti and puruṣa. The guṇas and the ātman are also again discussed along with the states of being that bring about liberation
This episode discusses chapter 12 of the Bhagavad Gītā. In this episode, Arjuna requests Kṛṣṇa to tell him which is better worship of him, the manifest or non-manifest. Kṛṣṇa also discusses various alternative paths towards liberation when another path is more difficult. Lastly, Kṛṣṇa discusses the qualities of those beloved of him.
This episode discusses chapter eleven of the Bhagavad Gītā. In this episode, Arjuna requests and then Kṛṣṇa reveals his many forms to him. I also speak on verse 11.32 that Robert Oppenheimer alluded to in a statement he made after he and other people witnessed an atomic bomb test explosion.
This episode discusses chapter ten of the Bhagavad Gītā. Kṛṣṇa begins to discuss his origin and the origin of beings, and his being and the manifold conditions of beings originating from him. Then Kṛṣṇa describes the state and actions of those who know and are yoked by that understanding, and the results of that state and those actions. Lastly, Arjuna asks Kṛṣṇa to explain the divine manifestations of the ātman, in which Kṛṣṇa does finishing out the chapter.
