Host Sarah Kleiner welcomes practitioner Grant Fowler to discuss navigating confusing and polarizing health information, emphasizing clinician-to-clinician “what works” insights alongside research. They argue health interventions have second- and third-order effects, using gut microbiome health as an example for improving responses to therapies such as cancer immunotherapy, and caution against “one thing fixes all” thinking across wellness, medicine, and spiritual frameworks. Fowler describes his non-linear path into health, his trial-and-error approach to addressing connective-tissue-related issues, and the importance of stacking lifestyle foundations (light, food, environment) to reduce system load so therapies can work. They critique strict evidence hierarchies, note “real world evidence,” and outline a symptom-guided approach to gut issues, highlighting specific probiotics (including spore-based strains and BB-536), lactoferrin, targeted fibers, dosing/timing considerations, and the gut's role in nutrient absorption and filtering toxins.Connect withj Grant - https://www.instagram.com/fowler_fitness_spt/ _________Sponsored By:→ Bon Charge | Go to https://boncharge.com/products/demi-red-light-device?rfsn=8108115.26608d & use code SARAHKLEINER for 15% off storewide.→ VivaRays | This episode is sponsored by VivaRays - VivaRays Blue - code YOGI https://vivarays.com/→ Troscriptions | For an exclusive offer, go to https://www.troscriptions.com/SARAHK for 10% off your first non subscription order._________Timestamp:00:00 First Order vs Systems01:02 Why Clinicians Matter02:19 Podcast Intro and Disclaimers03:32 Grant's Health Origin Story08:13 Genetics Epigenetics and EDS12:53 Peptides and Bio Regulators15:13 Real World Evidence Debate22:30 Insurance and Chronic Illness27:31 Integrative Medicine Middle Path30:40 Continuum of Therapies35:38 Modern Life Balance and Microbes42:16 Online Health Info Spirals43:16 Spiritual Bypassing Trap45:13 Bad Logic in Wellness46:45 Sunlight Protocol Reality Check48:32 Stockdale Paradox Mindset51:26 Synergy Over Monotherapy55:58 Fixing the Gut Basics56:23 Microbiome Testing Limits59:14 Targeted Gut Supplements01:01:51 Spore Probiotics Strategy01:13:43 Timing and Megadosing01:18:42 Where to Follow Grant01:22:12 Closing Thoughts——— This video is not medical advice & as a supporter to you and your health journey - I encourage you to monitor your labs and work with a professional!________________________________________Get all my free guides and product recommendations to get started on your journey!https://www.sarahkleinerwellness.com/all-free-resourcesCheck out all my courses to understand how to improve your mitochondrial health & experience long lasting health! Some musicians learn the blues. Others are raised inside it.Today I sit down with Doyle Bramhall II, one of the most distinctive voices in modern blues guitar and contemporary roots music. Raised in Texas as the son of legendary musician Doyle Bramhall, he grew up surrounded by the raw musical energy of the Austin music scene, absorbing the sounds of blues and rock from an early age.Doyle has built a remarkable career as a guitarist, vocalist, composer, and producer, collaborating with artists including Eric Clapton, Elton John, Gary Clark Jr., Dr. John, Gregg Allman, Sheryl Crow, and Erykah Badu. His playing style is instantly recognizable, partly because he plays left-handed with a guitar strung for a right-handed player and flipped upside down.We dive into the fascinating origins of his musical journey, including the moment when a visit from someone special inspired him to take the guitar seriously. Doyle shares his insight into his personal work developing the Ultimate Breakthrough, a process designed to support energetic and consciousness shifts aligned with one's purpose. You'll Learn:[00:00] Introduction[07:53] Growing up inside the Austin blues scene[17:03] How playing guitar upside down led to the Eric Clapton gig[38:54] From the Fabulous Thunderbirds to the Archangels[44:05] How Stevie's death sent Doyle into a two-year heroin spiral[57:51] What made Sly Stone one of the most innovative artists who ever lived[01:23:46] Staying sober while working with plant medicine[01:35:14] The chain of synchronicities that led Doyle from isolation to his life's calling[01:55:23] How Doyle's healing practice works and happens during a session[02:07:55] The three influences that shaped Doyle as a musicianRelated The Life Stylist Episodes:Not Just For Sleep: Melatonin | The Master Molecule + Next Level Biohacks w/ Dr. John Lieurance | PodcastThe Future Of Chronic Pain & Injury Healing W/ Drs. This episode covers the last part of chapter 30 from: “One day I entered a cinema house to view a newsreel...” to the end of the chapter Summary: In this section of the chapter Paramahamsa Yogananda explores Guruji's prayer and the biblical references to Elijah and Elisha, discussing how these stories relate to the concept of miracles. We share our personal experiences of miracles, both grand and mundane, and examined Guruji's explanation that everything is a miracle. Guruji's warns us about Maya, Satan or illusion, and its role as the cosmic magician's plan to divert us from spirit to matter. We reflect the chapter and how Guruji skilfully weaves together scientific concepts, biblical passages, and personal stories to explain the nature of miracles and their place in the universe. 0:00 Prior Episode; 2:30 The Prayer; 12:40 What is a Miracle?; 34:05 Masters and Miracles; 30:55 Maya; 40:25 Reflections on the chapter. Most people don't suffer because life is chaotic — they suffer because their mind is. As the stormy monsoon season gives way to autumn's still waters and clear skies, the Śrīmad Bhāgavatam reveals a profound teaching on the inner life: when agitation subsides, perception itself changes. In this episode, Raghunath and Kaustubha explore how mental turbulence, stress, and emotional reactivity drain our energy — and how bhakti-yoga cultivates a rare combination of outward flexibility and inward steadiness. Drawing on Arthur Ashe's timeless insight — "physically loose and mentally tight" — the conversation dives into the Sanskrit principle of anapekṣaḥ: freedom from dependence on how life is "supposed" to unfold. ******************************************************************** LOVE THE PODCAST? At 25, Guru Yogishivan was surrounded by luxury in the Middle East. He had trained as a martial artist and become a boxing champion. By most standards, he had success. But as he spent time around people who had money and influence, he noticed that no one seemed free from fear. Whether it was fear of loss, fear of death, or fear of not having enough. So he began asking the people around him if they were truly happy. That question sent him on a very different path. In this episode, we explore his journey from athlete to monk... and what his search for truth might mean for men entering their next chapter of life. We discuss: What happens when success no longer feels like enough Why your identity is constantly changing Whether losing your career is actually losing yourself What 24 minutes a day of inward focus might change A disciplined daily practice for reconnecting with yourself Resources: Book an Ask Yogi Session YouTube: Indimasi Healing Village Facebook: Indimas Healing Village Instagram: Indimasi Healing Village Whatsapp: +91 62386 00274

One of my college roommates is heading to Canton. That sentence still feels surreal. When I first met Larry Fitzgerald on his visit to the University of Pittsburgh, I had no idea I was meeting a future Hall of Famer. I just knew he had presence. Not hype. Not ego. Presence. When he arrived at training camp, the coaches quietly pulled me aside and asked me to help him learn the offense. What I didn't fully grasp at the time was what they already knew: he wasn't just there to compete. He was there to take over. And it took about two weeks. But here's what most people miss about Larry's story. Yes, he could high-point a football like nobody I've seen in 25 years around major college football. Yes, he tracked the deep ball with the instincts of a center fielder tracking a line drive into the gap. Yes, he could manipulate defensive backs, adjust stride length mid-route, and finish through contact with late, violent hands. But that's not what made him an All American at Pitt.It was how he saw the game — and his life — from the beginning. So in the latest Y-Option podcast, fueled by our founding partner 76, keeping you on the GO GO GO so you never miss a beat it's just me, celebrating him.My 1st lesson from him.During the first game of his freshman year he, like the rest of us at Pitt, wore a suit and tie to the game. That was the rule our head coach, Walt Harris, mandated. I think we all liked it as it felt like a business trip. But postgame everyone was changing into warm-ups to leave the stadium.I noticed that Larry started to put his suit back on.I quickly told him that he doesn't have to. He looked at me and said, at least this is how I remember it, “Yogi, they're going to know what I'm about from the jump.”That wasn't bravado. It was clarity. He came to college with a vision. Not just to be great at Pitt. Not just to make the league. But to be a pro — in habits, discipline, preparation, relationships. Small things, All things as the phrase goes.Larry grew up around it. His father, Larry Fitzgerald Sr., covered sports in Minnesota. As a kid, Larry was a ball boy around legends and he saw how pros moved, trained and most importantly how they treated everyone around them. By the time he arrived on campus, Larry Fitzgerald wasn't dreaming. He was executing.Talent Is Everywhere. Discipline Is Rare.I've been around Elite 11 quarterbacks for nearly two decades. I've been a broadcaster for 19 years and a coach for 4. Point being — I've seen first-round talent up close. Natural ability is not rare at that level. What's rare is clarity.Larry didn't drink. Didn't party. Had a tight circle. Was early to bed. Lived in the film room. Lived in the weight room. And that playlist was on repeat daily.I remember visiting him during the season when he was with the Arizona Cardinals. It was 8:00 PM and he said, “You can hang out, I'm going to bed.”Why?“I'm trying to be my best.”That's it. No drama. No speech. Just alignment between what he dreamt of and how he lived. When he decided to leave Pitt early for the NFL, I asked him if he'd considered coming back. He reframed it in a way that's stayed with me forever: if a surgeon is offered his dream job early, he goes. If a musician gets the gig of a lifetime, she goes. He was a wide receiver being offered his dream. He wasn't chasing status. He was honoring preparation.Playing Through LossDuring spring practice after his freshman season practice stopped and Larry left. News spread that his mom had passed away.I didn't know then what that kind of loss felt like. I do now. What I remember most wasn't just the grief — it was how he channeled it. He played for her. He carried her smile. He allowed the pain to sharpen his focus, not shrink his world. Or so it seemed. I know there was a lot of pain and I imagine that playing with his teammates allowed him to navigate through it. At least all of us hoped that we helped him out in the smallest of ways. After all, that's what teammates do. And our roster was extremely close.Looking back he taught me a powerful lesson that season: that there's a difference between playing for applause and playing with purpose. After he lost his Mom, it felt like Larry was playing for something deeper that just touchdowns and wins. And it showed. The Infinite GameRecently, I watched him receive his Hall of Fame invitation and greet Randy Moss — another all-time great. There was a knowing smile between them. A shared understanding of what it takes to get there. But when I think of Larry, I don't first think of Pro Bowl's or a Super Bowl run. I think of the freshman who chose the suit. The teammate who made everyone feel seen. The competitor who handed, or threw, the ball to officials after touchdowns like it was part of his joy.He played an infinite game. Not just to win on Saturdays. Not just to dominate on Sundays. But to become. He became one of the greatest wide receivers of all time.He became the greatest teammate I ever had.He became a father whose eldest son is now headed to University of Notre Dame to chase his own dream. And in a few months he officially becomes a Hall of Famer.I've never been to Canton before. This summer, I'll go.Not just to celebrate a gold jacket. But to honor the habits. The discipline. The clarity. The compassion.Larry Fitzgerald didn't just achieve greatness. He decided on it — early — and then lived accordingly. And if there's one lesson in his story for any young athlete, entrepreneur, artist, or dreamer reading this, it's simple:* Be clear about what you're about. * Be truly confident around what Matters Most* Then let your daily discipline make it undeniable.Much love and stay steady,YogiY-Option: College Football with Yogi Roth is a reader-supported publication. This episode covers the next part of chapter 30 from: “One day I entered a cinema house to view a newsreel...” to “... I looked up to the throbbing stream of lifetrons and spoke entreatingly. " Summary: This section of the book Paramahansa Yogananda focuses on the concept of life as a motion picture and using his experiences with visions of war and suffering. We explore the philosophical implications of viewing the world as an illusion, including how this perspective can affect one's compassion and understanding of suffering. We also study Guruji's profound meditation experiences, where he saw his physical form transform into light and felt a sense of weightlessness. 0:00 Prior Episode; 2.09 Newsreel vision; 11:00 Teaching on Maya; 19:30 Understanding Maya;; 22:50 The Cosmic Light; 34:42 Looking Ahead. What if the biggest thing holding you back from your next breakthrough isn't a lack of strategy… but a lack of attention? In this powerful and deeply moving episode of DREAM THINK DO, Mitch sits down with Mae Yoshikawa - writer, yogi, teacher, TEDx speaker, and founder of Kizuki Journaling - for a conversation that challenges how we think about awareness, action, and big dreams. Mae shares how the Japanese concept of kizuki - those quiet "aha" moments of realization - can become the foundation for meaningful change in leadership, business, and life. Drawing from her personal journey through profound grief, cultural expectations, and identity shifts, Mae reveals why awareness must come before action - and why skipping that step often leads to burnout, fear, or staying small. If you're an entrepreneur or leader who feels the tension between playing it safe and stepping into something bigger… this episode is for you.
