Komponista Jura Karlsona baletam “Sidraba šķidrauts” horeogrāfiju veidoja Kšištofs Pastors no Nīderlandes, scenogrāfiju un kostīmus – Andris Freibergs, gaismas – Deivids Hārvijs no Lielbritānijas.

Unlock the profound teachings of the Bhagavad Gita on mastering the gunas, the three modes of material nature that shape every aspect of life. Lord Krishna reveals the path to transcendence, guiding seekers to rise above the influence of sattva (goodness), rajas (passion), and tamas (ignorance). These modes are not merely characteristics; they are forces that bind the soul to material existence. In this episode, we explore practical ways to identify and overcome the grip of the gunas, moving toward true spiritual freedom. Learn how to cultivate sattva as a stepping stone while ultimately transcending even its subtle attachments. Discover the ABCD formula—Association, Books, Chanting, and Diet—to transform daily habits into tools for self-realization. Through unwavering devotion and the grace of Krishna, you can break free from the cycles of birth and death and experience the blissful state of Brahman. This journey also highlights the qualities of a sthitaprajna, a person who remains unshaken by praise or criticism, pleasure or pain, and stands firmly rooted in self-awareness. Whether you're seeking clarity in spiritual practices or insights into Krishna's teachings, this episode offers a transformative narrative to help you align with your higher self and achieve liberation. krsnadaasa (Servant of Krishna)
If we are growing old we dislike more and more any challenge… And for the Hindu Religion is that we change from Raja to Tamas. We change from activity, passion, to laziness, to be deluded… And this is even true when we are young and desire to live a calm and peaceful life…. Because we don't like challenges. For the Hindu Religion is the goal to be in Satva or in a state of harmony, balance, joy, and intelligence.Without facing our worldly desires we never can reach that state of Satva. Even we meditate like crazy still our worldly desires bring us to fall, like all the well-known Gurus with their Sex scandals.Through meditation, we can reach temporary the state of Satva, and afterward, we still have our worldly desires. After the Hindu teaching there exists nobody on this planet who doesn't have all 3 Gunas,- Tamas, Raja, and Satva. We can see every challenge/conflict as a step forward to peace and more balance.Because we can use the conflicts and challenges to purify ourselves from our worldliness. If we have contact with God we deepen in our worst times our relationship with God and even find great spirituality much easier than in peaceful times. So that every challenge will be on purpose. Sri Aurobindo said: God will drive you out of every oasis to go through the desert to find even a better oasis. And if you want peace in life, remember when you are in the box… you will have that, but no life anymore. We can find peace, serenity, and bliss only inside of ourselves and for that God has created the meditation. We should participate total in a worldly life and find our peace, serenity in our meditation…. Shri Krishna teaches that while sattva uplifts, true freedom lies in rising beyond all gunas to embrace our eternal, divine essence. Discover the karmic outcomes tied to each mode: sattva leads to wisdom and higher realms, rajas binds to restless action, and tamas results in ignorance and lower births. This episode integrates insights from the Bhagavad Gita, Vedantic commentaries, and practical applications to inspire profound self-reflection and spiritual striving. Krishna says, "I have created four varnas (divisions) based on differentiation of gunas and karmas, but know Me to be the non-doer and immutable (4.13). Brahmins, Kshatriyas, Vaishyas, and Shudras perform karmas according to the gunas springing from their nature" (18.41). Firstly, our divisive mind builds hierarchies around us. Secondly, falsehood is nothing but a manipulated truth. Together, a falsehood was built that the divisions are based on birth and are hierarchical. But, the simple truth is that humans are of four types because of the gunas and karmas. Moreover, this division is not a tool to judge a person. These facts need to be kept in mind while understanding verses dealing with varnas or castes which still dominate the social and political fabric of our society. While explaining gunas, Krishna says, "Three gunas of satva, rajas and tamas bind the soul (14.5). Satva binds through attachment to knowledge (14.6). Rajas binds the embodied soul through attachment to action (14.7). Tamas binds through sleep" (14.8). Essentially, each guna binds us in one way or another. One guna may be dominant in us throughout our lives determining our personality. But, each day of our life is a product of the interplay of these gunas. For example, when we are given a task in the office which requires additional knowledge, satva helps us to attain it. Rajas is the desire to execute tasks as per the deadline. By the end of the day when we get tired, tamas helps us with sleep. Similarly, if we are driving to a new place, knowing the direction is satvik and driving is rajas. Binding is another name for guna and dependence on them is bondage. Golden handcuffs don't make bondage any better than iron ones. Guna-ateeth is transcending this bondage to attain ultimate freedom where gunas become tools.
Krishna explained about the three gunas or characteristics of nature viz. Satva, Rajo and Tamo on various occasions in the Bhagavad Gita. He declares that no living being on earth or the higher celestial abodes of this material realm is free from the influence of these three gunas (18.40). This implies that at any given point of time we are under the influence of one guna or another. Krishna cautioned (3.27-3.29) that karmas (actions) in all situations are performed by the gunas; one who is deluded by ahankaar thinks 'I am kartha (doer)'. One who knows that gunas interact with gunas is not attached. Gunas have the ability to hypnotize us and under their influence we are attached to the functions of gunas. In chapters seventeen and eighteen, some functions of gunas like worship, food, yagna, tapah (of body, speech and mind), daan (charity), knowledge, karma, kartha, intellect, dhruti (fortitude) and happiness, were explained. Krishna gave a way forward and encouraged us to transcend these gunas to be guna-ateeth who are alike in happiness and distress; who are established in the self; remain the same amidst pleasant and unpleasant events; accept both criticism and praise with equanimity; remain the same in respect and insult; treat both friend and foe alike; and abandon all delusions of karta (14.24-14.25). While the nature of karta depends on the guna under whose influence the karta is at a given point of time, Krishna explained that the guna-ateeth abandons the delusion of karta altogether. Similarly, in the context of sukh (happiness), the types of happiness vary depending on the guna. But for a guna-ateeth, there is no preference for a particular sukh nor resistance to any dukh. In a nutshell, it is realising that life is an interplay of gunas.

(Akh-) O God! Please, let me forget the name of Vira for a moment, let me always think of Bhant, keep chanting the name of Gobind, let me be the holy companion of the Guru. 1. (O brother!) The stars shine in the dew-soaked night (in Akhya) (Thus, the lovers of the Lord write beautiful spiritual qualities in the miraculous art of a heart soaked in love). Saints dear to my Rama (blessed by meditation) stay alert. Saints of the Lord are always alert, they meditate on the name of the Hari Atma Prabhu. Saints meditate on the beautiful tender feet of the Lord in their hearts (and, at different times, O Lord, they are always far from our hearts). Sant Jan is showing all his sorrows by giving up the honor of his mind, getting rid of attachment and disorder. Nanak pleads – (O brother!) Beloved saints of the Lord Prabhu Das are ever aware (of Maya circles). O Sakhi! When I heard the Lord coming (to me), joy arose in my heart, my heart became an ornament on the beautiful sedge. O Sakhi! Those who meet the auspicious lord, their hearts are filled with joy and happiness. They remain attached to the limbs (feet) of the Lord, their sorrows are removed, their life their mind their body = all become green (with spiritual life). (By falling on the Guru's head) Those people who meditate on the Lord, every desire of their mind is fulfilled (to unite them with the Guru God). Nanak requests - those who meet the Lord, all the joys in their hearts, the encouragement remains. 2. The friends together ask (me) to tell me any sign of Khasam-Prabhu. I am engrossed in the joy of his union, my heart is filled with his love, but I do not know any sign of him. The merits of (my) Creator are deep, mysterious and endless, even the physicians cannot find the end of His merits, (His servants) by joining in His love in the color of His devotion, always paying attention to Him. Gunas keep singing. Nanak pleads – The living woman who is colored in the color of the love of that Khasam-Lord, she remains immersed in spiritual stability, she becomes dear to her Lord who is the possessor of all virtues, who has supreme knowledge. which is universal in all.3. Hey brother! When God's devotees (Hari-Jana) start singing beautiful songs of God's soothing praise, then (the auspicious qualities within them) friends flourish, their sorrows (and lustful) enemies disappear. The happiness of spiritual calmness flows between them, with the blessing of God's name they remain happy, but all this grace is done by the Lord himself. (The Lord has mercy on His servants) Those servants remain attached to the feet of God (from the attacks of vices) are always alert, and the lord of the world meets the Lord. Hey brother! Good days have come for the saints, they stay in spiritual stability and pour the treasures of all virtues at the Lord's feet. Nanak requests - God's servants come to the abode of the Lord-Lord and love him forever. 4.1.10. --- Support this podcast: https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/gsjhampur/support
It might be very provoking for you to read! What is enlightenment? When a guy is getting enlightenment, his ego will be destroyed and be transformed to the divine. Afterward, his whole life will emerge in the divine, everything would be selfless, and he would have no Ego anymore! In the last months of his life, Osho (Bhagwan) finally admitted that: The Ego could not be destroyed, only "observed."Krishnamurthy said simple, there is no enlightenment.Sri Aurobindo said until we have a body, we have an Ego. The Srimad Bhagavatam said, there exist nobody on this planet, who doesn't have all three Gunas. All three Gunas are an ego, we can only improve our ego.And there is nothing mentioned on the enlightenment in the Srimad Bhagavatam or other old religion books, for instance, the famous Sufi book: The conference of the birds. Ramakrishna said we can't kill this rascal of Ego. Instead, we use our Ego to serve God. Ramakrishna remained his whole life humble and said about himself, that he is only the servant of the servants of God. That means Ramakrishna served his devotees and his devotees should serve God.Why we can't destroy our Ego or a part of our Ego? Because our ego is so hard-wired into our brain and our whole body. For instance, if we speak, we use our ego, without ego, we can't talk. We can not guarantee to survive without Ego. We can free us from our ego and connect with the divine for a particular time.- With Meditation, dancing, music, chanting is this possible. Through the spiritual path, we can lose a part of our attachments to our ego. We can't get rid of all of our attachments! This means we all have to monitor and improve our ego our whole life, and that forget these so called enlightenment people, avatars. They become arrogant and ignorant of their ego, greedy and fall from their spirituality. The next lie is to transform our sexual drive. Our brain is mainly focused on procreation because nature needs children. What is if we live in celibacy? Then we suppress our sex drive with our mind. What we suppress that will grow. After some time, our suppressed sex can cause diseases, can get perverted or simply explode in craving of sex. I by myself could live easy in Celibacy for 10 years because I raised up my energy from my sex center!!! When I had an accident, my back could not heal, because of my suppressed sex. And then I have healed my back with my sex energy (Chi Gong, Mantak Chia). All these great famous Gurus at least from the last 200 years have exploited and cheated the mass, not so the unknown Gurus, like Ramakrishna, Nusrat Fateh Ali Khan… The great famous Gurus, Saints are making a beautiful holy show, and the insider will tell you how unholy and selfish they are! (see the books reference about the famous Gurus, written from their dearest devotees, at the end). The spiritual enlightenment was a great marketing idea to exploit and cheat the people. The Zen masters even sold enlightenment certificates!Nevertheless, the Enlightenment trip was necessary to motivate, to meditate and go further. The so-called enlightenment Gurus and seriously devotees are getting over the inner path the divine inner voice. With this inner voice, they get all the information that is necessary for their specific inner path. Also, they have to obey to 100% to the divine inner voice. If they follow up, they will grow continuously on the inner path. If not, they will become evil people and will exploit others... I by myself had the fortune to get the Kundalini/spiritual-awakening very fast, with 29 years. Since this time, I have lost my body identification (still, I keep my body healthy) got my divine inner voice and many other spiritual goodies. I have obeyed to 100% my divine inner voice. Sometimes it was/is so difficult to follow my divine inner voice, because I have to do things that are contradicting my thinking/faith system. Nevertheless, my life got better and better. For me is it so easy to get blissfully. And I can teach you that! In this meditation we examine the Gunas. These are the energetic forces of the Universe and all that is within it. The word Guna means strand or string but also means quality. When these strands of energy and their qualities weave together we can see that they are present in all things - within us, within objects, nature, situations, attitudes... Understanding the Gunas gives us another layer of understanding of our energetic body, our Subtle Body. The three Gunas are Tamas (inertia), Rajas (activity) and Sattva (consciousness). When we braid these together we have a balanced life but sometimes one is more dominant than the others. Being able to identify when we are out of balance can bring awareness to our energetic body and help us live a more harmonious life. Much love Rosanne xx
Sattva, Rajas and Tamas are the primordial forces that reveal your embodied state of consciousness. These cosmic forces of creation are energies that permeate all levels of our being. Knowledge of their influence helps you to take action to harness their strengths so that you can empower your meditation practice and yogic lifestyle. By cultivating Sattva, and even just becoming aware of the Gunas, you increase your capacity to know and experience clearer states of consciousness and inner well-being. Let's explore three qualities of energy within us known as the three gunas – Tamas, Rajas, and Sattva. These qualities represent different aspects of our being, influencing our thoughts, emotions, and actions. Tamas, the quality of inertia and darkness. Rajas, the quality of activity and restlessness. Sattva, the quality of harmony and balance. Lie down comfortably for this practice, cover yourself and simply close your eyes. Let's begin! 18th Chapter: verse 40, 41, 42, 43, 4440th verse: “Everyone in this world is dictated by these three gunas.”Lord Krishna divides human traits in three areas – sattvic, rajasik and tamasik.A sattvic person is calm and serene even in difficult situations. A rajasik person is swayed by his circumstances. A tamasik person is lazy, confused and deluded. The sattvic person has emotional equanimity. He is not elated in success and he is not devastated in failure. The rajasic person is swayed by success and failure.Lord Krishna discusses these traits because he wants us to combine action with mental equilibrium. Understanding that everything in this world is transient – success, failure, heath and so on – we should develop an attitude that helps us remain in perfect equanimity of mind even in difficult situations. The 41st verse onwards, Lord Krishna discusses four groups of people based on people's innate spiritual qualities (gunas). These four groups are: (1) Brahmana (2) Kshatriya (3) Vaishya (4) Sudra. In Hindu tradition, there were also four stages of human life and four values which guide human life. The four stages of human life are Brahmacharya (student), Grhastha (householder), Vanaprastha (forest hermitage) and Sannyasa (renunciate). Manu Smriti says that when one sees the face of his grandchild, when his face begins to wrinkle and when his hair begins to turn grey, he should retire to a life of hermitage. The four values that guide human life are dharma, artha, kama, and moksha. Kama represents our desires, what we want to achieve. Artha represents the means to achieve those goals. Dharma represents a set of moral disciplines that guide and regulate our pursuit of artha and kama. Moksha represents the highest value in human existence and means liberation from the bondage of samsara.42nd verse: “Who is a brahmana? Lord Krishna lists the following qualities: Shama (control of mind), dama (control of the senses), Tapah (austerities for a higher purpose), saucha (mental and physical purity), kshantih (forbearance), uprightness, jnanam (natural inclination for knowledge), vijnanam (realization), astikyam (belief in the law of karma and doctrine of reincarnation).43rd verse: “Who is a Kshatriya? Lord Krishna lists the following qualities: ambition for power, boldness, fortitude, dexterity, not running away from battle, generosity, assertion of freedom.”44th verse: “Who is a Vaishya? Lord Krishna lists the following duties: agriculture, cattle rearing and trade – an inclination to do business and acquire wealth.” In the midst of earning wealth, the Vaishya may engage in higher duties such as charity. These duties are based on the social circumstances that prevailed when Gita was written.44th verse: “Who is a Sudra? Lord Krishna lists the following duties: not interested in higher values, want to do simple service.”Lord Krishna lists these four groups to represent four levels of human evolution. We can always climb up the ladder, acquire sattvic qualities, and become a Brahmana.Shankaracharya defines Brahmana as one who has a dominance of Sattva-guna and in whom Rajo guna is secondary.Shankaracharya defines Kshatriya as one who has a dominance of Rajo-guna, and in whom sattva-guna is secondary.Shankaracharya defines Vaishya as one who has a dominance of Rajo-guna, and in whom tamo-guna is secondary.Shankaracharya defines Sudra as one who has a dominance of Tamo-guna, and in whom Rajo-guna is secondary.Highest spiritual evolution happens when we transcend the three gunas. Such a person is called Guṇātita. One has to be fully established in sattva guna to transcend the three gunas. In spiritual life, we are all individual travelers. Just like someone traveling in a train meets other travelers – similarly, it is an accidental meeting with our near and dear ones in this life. Our journey comes to an end when we experience and realize our true identity as the Atman.
In the final summary chapter, after completing His summary about the three guNAs and varna division, and attaining the state of perfection, Bhagavan reaches the final stretch. In this episode He talks about a Jeevan mukta, devotion, surrender and grace of God.
After covering all aspects of the three guNAs, Bhagavan now moves on to wrap up His teachings. In chapter three He mentioned about the naishkarmyam state, the actionlessness state. In this summary chapter next he brings that topic about attaining the state of perfection.
Our temperaments are determined by a combination of the three gunas – sattva guna, rajo guna and tamo guna. Sattva guna is the highest and most sublime. It manifests itself as wisdom and serenity. Rajo guna manifests itself as dynamism and ambition. Tamo guna manifests itself as laziness and delusion.Gunas are not visible and cannot be physically verified. We can infer which guna is predominant in a person by observing his external temperament. A sattvic person is calm and serene even in difficult situations. A rajasic person is swayed by his circumstances. A tamasic person is dull and non-responsive., not understanding what is happening around him.The 20th, 21st and 22nd verses discuss the three levels of refinement of knowledge - sattvik, rajasik and tamasic. They discuss how people with these three gunas comprehend different situations. The 20th verse describes the Sattvik nature of knowledge. “That knowledge by which one sees the one supreme reality which is immanent, which is all-pervading, which remains the same without division, which is the indweller in every being, is Sattvik knowledge.”The person endowed with sattvik knowledge sees unity and oneness behind diversity. He sees humanity as one spiritual family. Even when perceiving the differences in the world, he keeps in mind the presence of the divine as the unifying factor everywhere. This was the central theme of Swami Vivekananda's talk in Chicago in 1983 at the Parliament of Religions. He emphasized the spiritual unity and oneness of creation.21st verse: “That knowledge by which one sees everything as different from everything else, by which one sees certain people as eternally good and certain people as eternally bad, is Rajasik knowledge.”The sattvik person also sees the differences, but he understands that the differences are not eternal. They are due to different temperaments driven by the three gunas. Behind them, he sees the unifying divine reality. The rajasik person sees the differences as eternal.Sri Ramakrishna and Jesus Christ were born in two different cultures, spoke different languages, wore different types of dresses and used different parables. But behind these differences, there was unity at the spiritual level. The rajasic person overlooks the unifying principle and focuses on the differences. The sattvik person focuses on the unity. It is a matter of our spiritual evolution.,22nd verse: “There are people who may have a small, petty idea, which may be irrational, but still they believe in that idea as being very great and are attached to it, and they think everyone should accept that idea, even though the idea is tribalistic and not humanistic – the knowledge of such people is Tamasik.”The 23rd, 24th and 25th verses discuss the three levels of refinement of actions - sattvik, rajasik and tamasic. The way we act and perform our responsibilities is also a sign of spiritual growth.Shankaracharya says in his commentaries: “The same divine principle is present in all living beings. It is called Atman. The way the Atman functions could be different from person to person, but the same Atman is present in all, as it is all-pervading. The differences in human emotions and feelings reflects in the way we deal with others.”For example, in the 20th verse of the 17th chapter, Lord Krishna describes the sattvik level of charity. “Charity done with the attitude “It is my duty to help this person”, done in the right manner without any expectation of return, given to someone who is in need of it, who will use it for constructive purpose, and done at the right place and time – such charity is Sattvik.”In the 22nd verse of the 17th chapter, Lord Krishna says: “Charity done at the wrong place, at the wrong time, or to unworthy person or without regard for rules and etiquette – such charity is Tamasik.”23rd verse of 18th chapter: “When we do our actions considering it as our sacred duty, without extreme attachment, without aversion to anyone, without any selfish expectations of benefits – such action is Sattvik.”Actions done without selfish motives and attachment keeps the mind tranquil and become a steppingstone and great help in our spiritual life. Actions done with selfish motives and attachment unsettles our mind and emotional system and take us backward in spiritual life.24th verse: “Actions that are done with selfish desire, and which are done with strain to the mental system, are Rajasik.”Such actions may give us empirical success, but they are accompanied by agony and anxiety. Workaholics are an example as they perform their actions with lot of calculations and expectations.25th verse: “People who are reckless and ruthless, who do not worry about consequences, who are slaves of their impulses, who do not worry about loss of money or resources, who do not worry about whether their actions bring harm to others, who want to finish the action at any cost – their actions are tamasik.”
Episode 77 covers the final part of chapter 17. In the first three parts we have seen the influence of the three guNAs, sattva, rajas and tamas on faith we have, food we consume, sacrifices we perform, austerities at the body, speech and mind levels and also charities we give. The final part explains the meaning of the three words OM tat and sat separately and together, and when they are used. This is followed by chapter appreciation which will address two important aspects of this chapter.

Shraddha cannot be properly translated in English. Shraddha refers to a sense of sanctity and sacredness that helps us preserve higher values. It can also mean faith in scriptures, God, teacher, and a sense of integrity. One of the verses says: “A man is only as much as the shraddha he has.”2nd verse: “The shraddha of human beings is three-fold – Sattvika, Rajasika and Tamasika. It is born out of their own swabhava – their own natural tendencies. “Our temperaments are determined by a combination of the three gunas – sattva guna, rajo guna and tamo guna. Sattva guna is the highest and most sublime. It manifests itself as wisdom and serenity. Rajo guna manifests itself as dynamism and ambition. Tamo gunamanifests itself as laziness and delusion.Gunas are not visible and cannot be physically verified. We can infer which guna is predominant in a person by observing his external temperament. If a person has wealth and power, but he is humble, has self-control and does not make a show of it – he is endowed with sattva guna. Sattva guna indicates higher transcendental wisdom in a person. If a person is very active and makes a show of his wealth and power, he is endowed with rajo guna. If a person is lazy, ignorant, confused and does not want to earn higher qualities, he is endowed with tamo guna.Shraddha is based on our inherent natural tendencies, our swabhava, which is based on our samskaras. Every action leaves a residual effect (vritti) in our mental system. Many identical vrittis – from similar, repeated actions – solidify a distinct memory block called Samskara. Samskaras express through our determination to act in a certain manner, called Sankalpa. Sankalpa leads to further actions. This wheel continues, and it shapes our Swabhava. In Patanajali Yoga Sutra, Vyasa says: “The river of the human mind flows in two directions. One takes us towards higher spiritual fulfillment. The other is of a negative nature and takes us away from our cherished aspirations.” The mind may not act as our friend when it is not ready. For example, when we want to meditate (positive flow of the river), the mind may procrastinate (negative flow of the river).Vyasa also says: “We can never refine samskaras and turn the mind into a friend without a refining process. The refining process starts with doing some noble, unselfish deeds. Such deeds increase the store house of positive samskaras and negate the negative samskaras. The mind then begins to evolve.”The 1st sutra of sadhana pada in Patanjali Yoga Sutra says: “tap ah-svadhyaya-isvara-pranidhanani kriya-yoga” Kriya yoga refers to any kind of noble, unselfish activity. Such actions help us climb the ladder of three types of shraddhas – from tamasika, to rajasika to sattvika. One of the commentators on this verse says: “This shraddha is inherent but not inflexible. If inflexible, everything will degenerate into blind fatalism. We have the freedom to ascend to higher levels of shraddha by applying our own resources. This will strengthen the river of mind and help it flow in the positive direction.”3rd verse: “The shraddha of every individual is according to his/her natural disposition. Every individual and his level of shraddha are identified as one.”Brahma Sutras discuss the dynamics of leaving the world and the dynamics of returning to the world. We are born with the baggage of past samskaras (tendencies) – we cannot disown them. We collect these tendencies in our Antahkarana (mind, intellect, memory system, ego sense) through actions involving the senses and the mind. When the body is cremated, the physical senses are gone, but the Antahkarana is retained. It accompanies the soul when it takes a new body. These samskaras in the Antahkarana decide what level of shraddha each person possesses. In the next few verses, Lord Krishna describes how we can infer the level of shraddha by analyzing a person's actions and behaviors, such as whom he worships and what kind of food he eats.4th verse: “Those endowed with sattvika shraddha worship divine, angelic deities. Those with rajasika shraddha worship a god idea that gives them material comforts such as wealth and power. Those with tamasika shraddha worship supernatural and black magic concepts of god.”The God idea that we worship is dependent on our level of spiritual evolution. As we evolve, our idea of God also evolves. In spiritual life, we are never late and nothing is lost. Every moment can be used as the beginning of a new journey.

"Move a muscle change a thought, change a thought and you change your life - Tuchy Palmieri”This week, Mia and Adrienne sit down with Andrea and learn about how yoga changed her life. Andrea has been a friend of the podcast and a dear friend of both Mia and Adrienne. We discuss her journey as a Yoga Teacher and how she's learned to create space for herself. Philosophically, the theory of the gunas explains what this universe is made of and how it came to manifest itself as mind and matter. But more important for yoga practitioners, awareness of the gunas tells us whether we are genuinely moving forward in life (sattva), running in place (rajas), or losing our way (tamas).”Follow us on TikTok:https://www.tiktok.com/@yogachangedFollow us on Instagram:https://instagram.com/yogachanged?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=For more, go to https://howyogachangedmylife.com Wanna be on the show?
