They discussed the importance of self-realization and the nature of consciousness, emphasizing that true knowledge comes through remembrance and grace rather than action or desire. The conversation touched on the corruption of spiritual teachings over time, the role of self-realized beings in restoring original teachings, and the idea that understanding the self leads to understanding everything, including one's personal concept of God.These are teachings and pointers from ongoing NDA(Non-duality awareness)/Advaitic Satsangs held at Bhagavan Ramana Maharshi Centre in Melbourne, Australia. Trechos do livro “Notes on Spiritual Discourses of Shri Atmananda”, de Nitya Tripta.

We discuss what osteopathy is, how the over medicalisation of birth, use of instruments and c-sections can have unintended and little discussed knock on effects with feeding, comfort and mobility of babies, and how we could learn so much from other cultures' innate understanding of babies and massage. Nicolas Romulus Grimaldi is the founder of ONE OSTEO. He graduated in 2007 after 6 years of full-time studies at ATMAN, one of the oldest French osteopathic colleges. He is a passionate osteopath and entrepreneur, recognised for his work on immune system disorders through the ISD method. I'm back with Chapter 2 of the Bhagavad Gita! This is so dense I had to split it into two parts. Today we'll discuss verses 1-38. This chapter serves as a foundation for understanding the eternal nature of the soul (Atman) and the importance of non-attachment in the face of life's challenges. Let's look at Arjuna's emotional turmoil and Krishna's tough love approach, emphasizing the need for inner stability and the acceptance of life's transient nature. The emphasis on the immortality of the soul, the significance of understanding one's Dharma, and the win-win perspective in life. This chapter literally has all of Krishna's essential teachings. Making it a gold mine. Get ready to learn from the original life coach (Krishna):

What if you didn't have to earn belonging—because it was already inside you? This episode explores the difference between seeking approval and trusting your own worth. So many of us shrink ourselves, wear masks, or change who we are just to feel accepted. But belonging isn't something we gain from others—it's something we remember within ourselves. The conversation dives into the idea that molding yourself to please others can feel safe in the moment, but over time it pulls you further from your truth. Drawing from yogic philosophy (Asmita, Satya, and Santosha) and neuroscience, the episode shows how authenticity and self-compassion lead to stronger relationships, inner peace, and true resilience.Through journal prompts, gentle breathing practices, and reflective mantras, you'll be guided back to the part of you that knows: I am already enough. I belong to myself. Have you ever heard a voice inside you whisper, “You're not good enough”? This episode is a gentle and powerful reminder that your inner critic is not who you really are. It explores how that harsh inner voice—the one that tells you you're not ready, smart enough, or worthy—can sound convincing, but it isn't the truth of your being. That voice comes from fear and old patterns, not from your deepest self.Using both yoga philosophy and neuroscience, the episode explains the idea of Asmita (false identity), which is when we mistake our thoughts, labels, or past mistakes for who we are. But underneath the noise is your true self—calm, compassionate, and clear. The path forward isn't to silence the critic completely, but to stop letting it run your life. With reflection prompts, breath practices, and mantras, you'll learn how to shift your focus from fear to inner wisdom.

Summary on Kaṇāda   Kaṇāda, also known as Ulūka or Kashyapa, was an ancient Indian natural philosopher and the founder of the Vaisheshika school of Indian philosophy. He is often regarded as the earliest proponent of atomism in the world, proposing that the universe is composed of indivisible, eternal atoms (paramanu), which combine in various ways to form different substances. His ideas were recorded in the seminal text Vaiśeṣika Sūtra, which outlined a realistic and pluralistic ontology.   Estimated to have lived between the 6th century BCE and 2nd century BCE, Kaṇāda's philosophy explains the creation and functioning of the universe through six fundamental categories (padarthas): dravya (substance), guna (quality), karma (motion), samanya (generality), visesha (particularity), and samavaya (inherence). These categories encompass everything that can be experienced and known.   Kaṇāda's atomistic theory influenced later Hindu, Jain, and Buddhist philosophies and may have inspired thinkers in fields like medicine and physics, including scholars like Charaka. Though primarily focused on physical phenomena, Kaṇāda also integrated metaphysical ideas, such as the concept of Atman (soul) and the pursuit of moksha (liberation) through knowledge.   Key Contributions: 1. Atomism: Proposed that all matter is made of indestructible atoms. 2. Nine Substances: Identified nine dravyas (substances) including earth, water, fire, air, ether (akasha), time, direction, mind, and soul. 3. Non-Theistic Approach: Suggested that natural laws, rather than a deity, govern the universe. 4. Empirical Observations: Explained natural phenomena such as fire rising upwards, magnetism, and rainfall using logical reasoning. 5. Ethical Framework: Defined dharma as that which leads to material progress and spiritual liberation. Kaṇāda's logical and analytical approach laid the groundwork for scientific inquiry in India and significantly influenced the Nyaya school of philosophy, which emphasized logic and epistemology. His ideas on atoms and matter predated similar concepts proposed by Greek philosophers like Democritus.

Text me your thoughts about this epidode ...This is the episode I've eagerly awaited since my very first episode, 'What is Vedic Astrology?' When I started The Vedic Astrology Podcast four years ago, I knew I needed to address this fundamental question, but I also realized that doing so effectively would require more than my own understanding. Today, I am thrilled to present this long-anticipated episode. I am joined by Sachin Sharma to delve deeply into the essence of Jyotish, often translated as Vedic Astrology. Sachin and I explore the unique philosophy of Jyotish, grounding our discussion in Sutra 3:14 from the Brihat Parashara Hora Shastra. This episode addresses key differences between Jyotish and other forms of astrology, the richness and symbolism embedded in Jyotish, and the effects of colonization on its interpretation. Sachin shares profound insights into the deeper purpose of Jyotish, including its relation to the concept of Atman and its applicability to personal growth, spirituality, and practical life areas such as relationships, career, and health. Additionally, we discuss the integration of Jyotish with other related disciplines like yoga, Ayurveda, and Samkhya, highlighting that these fields form a cohesive study of life's profound truths. Learn the true potential and gift Jyotish offers, and discover how this ancient practice can serve as a psychoanalytic and therapeutic tool. Sachin's ongoing Jyotish Project aims to re-educate and bring greater clarity to this rich and intricate discipline, making it accessible for both personal and professional practices. Join us in this enlightening conversation and find out how you can engage with Sachin's work and further explore the transformative power of Jyotish. Don't miss out! "(From Jesus) Surrender to me does not mean to fret, to be upset, or to lose hope, nor does it mean offering to Me a worried prayer, asking Me to follow you and change your worry into prayer. It is against this surrender, deeply against it, to worry, to be nervous and to desire to think about the consequences of anything. It is like the confusion that children feel when they ask their mother to see to their needs, and then try to take care of those needs for themselves so that their childlike efforts get in their mother's way. Surrender means to placidly close the eyes of the soul, to turn away from thoughts of tribulation and to put yourself in My care, so that only I act; saying, "You take care of it".(Repeat the following prayer 10 times.)O Jesus, I surrender myself to you, take care of everything! Mother, I am yours now and forever. Through you and with you I always want to belong completely to Jesus.Amen" - Father Ruotolo Dolindo "A beautiful prayer to Krishna is, 'please let me feel your warm affection as I chant.'" - Mahatma Das "Without a name, without a body, tell me about yourself. Tell me something about yourself without mentioning your memories or mind. Can you tell me something? Nothing can be said... That's You." - Nisargadatta Maharaj“‘Lest ye become as little children, you cannot enter the kingdom of heaven.' Today, we spend more time on the fourth kosha, Vigyanamaya Kosha. The word “Vigyana” means “knowing.” This layer is true intellect, intuition, wisdom, and higher awareness. Within this layer, one experiences union of Spirit, realizing they are a spiritual being having a human experience. We also delve into the fifth layer, the Anandamaya Kosha. “Ananda” means “bliss,” so this is our Bliss Body. Love, peace, joy, connection, and bliss are all a constant experience here, without any reason, and it's beyond just an emotion. Bliss is the experience we gain from connecting to the Atman (true self) without masks, opinions, ideas, or identities. We begin exploring another part of the subtle anatomy, known as Chakras. Chakras are energy vortexes in the subtle/energetic body, located along the sushumna nadi, starting from the base of the spine, or tail bone, all the way up through the crown of the head. The first is Muladhara, which we felt required its own episode, as the strength of the rest of the chakras rest upon this foundation.Muladhara translates as the root, whose energy flows to the rest of the chakras and sets the tone for our sense of self. Herein lies infinite potential but also fear, since all Fear is essentially about the Unknown, and the Unknown is also the Infinite Potential. A lot of our limitations are self-imposed, acquired through conditioning, so the muladhara represents the possibility of liberation when we realize we have the choice to change and evolve. Daily practices and routines, often the simple ones we mention in today's conversation, help strengthen our inner stability. Disciplines, like yoga asana, anchor us so that experiences don't lead us off path and away from our true self. A huge part of our inner work is with this chakra. Cultivating a base experience of Trust over Fear. This chakra represents the Earth element, and we hope you feel its grounding energy through this teaching. Send us a textSupport the showTo learn more about us, please visit www.OjasOasis.com Connect with us @ojasoasis on Instagram
