In this episode we chatted with former U.S. Olympian and bronze medalist Jamie Hagerman Phinney. After playing, Phinney joined USA Hockey in an administrative role and also helped piece together the 2018 Gold Olympic team. Hagerman chatted about her youth hockey experience, tearing her ACL twice and how the women's game has grown.

Shannon MacAulay has a wealth of hockey experience. At a young age, she left Prince Edward Island to pursue her dream of playing for Hockey Canada, which she achieved when she represented her country in a U18 exhibition against the U.S. She played college hockey at Clarkson, where she scored the game-winning goal for Clarkson's first-ever national championship, a win that broke the Midwest's (and WCHA's) hold on college hockey dominance. MacAulay now works in strength and conditioning and has started on her new goal -- rowing for Canada.

In this week's episode, we spoke with Mike McKenzie, general manager of the Kitchener Rangers of the OHL. McKenzie was drafted into the OHL but played college hockey at Saint Lawrence before returning to Canada. We asked about Kitchener's scouting process, draft preparation, how agents have changed things and more.
