Episode 332 of the InGoal Radio Podcast, presented by The Hockey Shop Source for Sports, features a "get to know" interview with Kaylie Osborne of the PWHL New York Sirens, and a "catch up" with long-time NHL goalie coach Ian Clark. In the feature interview appropriately presented by NHL Sense Arena, we start things off with a great conversation with Osborne, who is in her first year as the Sirens starter in just her second year as a pro after a standout college career at Colgate University, which concluded with a 20–4–1 record, career-best 1.28 goals-against average, .941 save percentage, and six shutouts as a senior. We talk early inspirations and the evolution of her game through college and into pro for a 23-year-old who was already a part of Team Canada during the Rivalry Series. From there we switch gears to catch up with Clark, whose role with the Vancouver Canucks may have shifted to scouting and development, but whose passion for the teaching the position to all levels remains as strong as ever, including an upcoming series of Pro Tips at InGoal. In the Parent Segment, presented by Stop it Goaltending U the App, We also review this week's Pro Reads, presented by Vizual Edge, which features Filip Gustavsson of the Minnesota Wild discussing keys to simplifying back-and-forth plays behind the net. In our weekly gear segment we go to The Hockey Shop Source for Sports for a deep dive into the latest from Brian's Custom Spots, the Iconic 2 pads and gloves.

It's been another wild week around here with the Oilers rollercoaster making another loop, and I've got a fresh episode of Better Lait Than Never ready to recap it all. On today's podcast, I talked about the Oilers' most recent blowout, goalie rumours, players coming back from injuries, and much more.Just when you think the Edmonton Oilers might be turning things around, we've got another debacle on home ice that has the fanbase questioning their sanity and what the hell is going on around here. After a strong finish to their seven-game road trip, the Oilers returned home to get completely dismantled by the visiting Dallas Stars, and that loss has people running through the same old questions again. When will Stan Bowman trade for a goalie? Do they need more help on defence? Can this team figure it out? Only time will give us the answers, but that didn't stop me from wading in with my takes anyway. Finally, I wrapped up this week's episode of BLTN with a guest Righteous Sack Beating from Eoin, then closed out the podcast with another round of voicemails. The voicemail was alive this week, and everyone's takes were all over the map and very fun to listen to. The voicemail is my favourite way to wrap up the show and give everyone a chance to share their thoughts. Another hearty thank you to everyone who contributed to this week's episode. Having all of you in the mix makes the show so much better.Want to leave a voicemail for next week's show? Do it here!

Send us a textIn this episode, we sit down with Roger Williams University goalie Aaron D'Aversa to unpack his full lacrosse journey, from a gear obsessed third grader to a confident college starter. Aaron talks about why he first fell in love with the position, why he briefly left it to play attack, and how that switch ended up becoming one of the most important ingredients in his development.Aaron shares stories about youth lacrosse on Long Island, earning varsity time in seventh grade, and navigating the recruiting chaos of COVID before eventually finding the right home at Roger Williams. He goes deep into the technical parts of his game too including why he favors a lateral step, how he built elite clearing ability, and the drills he uses to stay patient, stay balanced, and stay big in the cage. You'll hear his approach to the mental game, how he resets when he's flinching or in a slump, the routines he relies on before every game, and why being able to string your own stick and throw with both hands might be the most underrated advantage a goalie can have.Whether you're a young goalie building your foundation or a college player looking to sharpen the details, Aaron brings a ton of insight, honesty, and actionable advice in this interview.Tune in and enjoy.Support the show
