Stevie Holbrook is an outdoorsman, backyard homesteader, painter, & deep-rooted Eastern Kentuckian living amongst the aftermath of recent devastating floods in Letcher County. We begin with Stevie describing what the flood has been like for him & around his community, then expand into the plight of Appalachia as a whole. From there we transition into God, folkways, & folklore: superstitions around the dog days of summer & faith healing; haints & boogers; turtle buggin' & frog giggin'. Stevie then tells a paranormal story of a whistling creature in the woods, followed by his great-grandparents' encounter while coon hunting. We end on a lil' local history, archeology, & paleontology.
