This week on #ResistanceRadio it's Movement Mondays! - our monthly collaboration with DJ Chinua and Ace Hotel New Orleans. We were joined by Rob Bell from Bike Easy New Orleans. Rob talked with us about changes in bike lanes and bike culture the organization has been a part of making for the past 15 years. We also talked about what the City of New Orleans is embarking upon with it's Moving New Orleans Bikes Initiative to build 75 miles of protected bikeways over the next two years and more. Tune in!
This week we were live from the Three Keys venue for #MovementMondays, our monthly collaboration with DJ Chinua and Ace Hotel New Orleans. We were honored to have New Orleans City Council President Jason Williams join us to talk about his Black History Heroes and his 2019 priorities. We also discussed his decision to run for District Attorney in 2020 and what a “progressive DA” looks like. The Albert and Tina Small Center was our community partner and joined us to talk about the “Undesign The Redline” exhibit currently on display until March 1. Tune in to this special episode of #ResistanceRadio!
