Jerry's “best friend of all-time at WFAN” calls in to the show. He's also known as Bob Wischusen, the radio voice of the Jets for 23 years. Jerry wants to know what this Jets team is. Bob says a team with enough talent to pique the interest of Bill Belichick. He says they are frustrating and have the talent to win more games than they have. Bob has not sensed or heard about any friction in the locker room between Aaron Rodgers and his teammates. Bob, who calls college football games, explains the difference he sees between the games and why NFL teams need to be more patient before playing their young QBs. Pat returns for his final update of the show and begins with the football losses before playing audio from another Rangers loss. Jerry wondered about how arenas transition from ice to hardwood and vice-versa. Thankfully, Zoo used to do that at the Garden so he explains the process. The Moment of The Day: Pat Boyle just learned the lyrics of “Baby It's Cold Outside” are creepy. In the final segment of the day, Jerry asks CLo if he's finished his Christmas shopping and if there were any big gifts his kids wanted this year.

As we get closer to Christmas, many people will be heading out to the shops to look for the perfect presents. And this mad dash in search of festive gifts is nothing new. In this episode, Annie Gray, author of The Bookshop, The Draper, The Candlestick Maker: A History of the High Street, takes Emily Briffett on a tour of our historical festive spending habits, from the horrors of visiting a Victorian butcher's shop to enormous seasonal turkey parades and outrageous stunts involving elephants. This week on the podcast, I'm re-playing an episode from a few years ago on holiday shopping and what might might really be going on when we feel this pressure to do and have more. I address many of the same themes of intention, managing expectations, scarcity, and self-worth. As you walk down the aisles of Target or throw more things into your Amazon cart over these next few weeks, I want to encourage you to pause and dig a little deeper into what might be going on in your own world so you can better understand ourselves. The goal being to help shift our perspectives a bit so we can consciously choose to opt out of the overwhelm that comes with this time of year. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are you interested in working 1:1 with me? I'm now officially a Certified Money Coach (CMC)® where I work with you to create greater balance, a higher consciousness and help you transform your relationship with money. This goal of this work is to guide you to a deeper understanding of the unconscious beliefs and patterns we carry that create stress and fear and hold us back from living the life that you want. You can book a quick 15-minute call here so I can learn more about you and your goals for the program. I'm so excited to be able to connect with you on a deeper level and help you discover what's blocking you from living the life you really want!
This week the crew looks a little bit different, Pinkalla is holding down the fort with special guests Maggie Carsello and Tyler Brick. this one if loaded with catching up on everything from how hunting seasons wrapped up for everyone to all the shenanigans at the St. Paul ice show. The crew dives into some fan questions that have been in the DMs, and begin to regret that pretty quickly. Maggie and Brick check in with some awesome Christmas gift ideas that might save you some time this holiday season and help fill those stockings. We round this one out with a good ol fashioned Weigh-In of the WORST snacks to bring ice fishing. Dont miss it!!!!
