In this episode, we’ll be listening to a conversation between True/False’s Paul Sturtz and Dora Garcia, director of the film “ Segunda Vez ." The staged documentary is anchored in the “happenings” - which are part performance art pieces, part social experiments - of Argentinian theorist and psychoanalyst Oscar Masotta. He was influential in morphing the artistic landscape of Buenos Aires in the 1960s, and brought the theories of French psychoanalyst Jacques Lacan to the Spanish-speaking world. Masotta died in 1979. Programledare: Anneli Dufva                                                                                                                                          Den serbienfödda konstnären Marina Abramovi (född 1947) räknas som en av de största inom performancekonsten. Redan på 70-talet blev hon känd för sina sjävlutlämnande, och ibland livsfarliga, performanceföreställningar. Idag räknas hon till konstartens pionjärer, och nu visar MoMa (Moderna Museet)  i New York en stor retrospektiv över hennes konstnärskap. Där kan man se både dokumentation och återuppföranden av hennes tidigare verk. Men också Marina Abramovi själv, livs levande, i en performance som pågår ända tills utställningen stänger, i maj. Mårten Arndtzén har sett utställningen och träffat performancekonstens Grand Lady i New York. I Stockholm, på Galleri Index, visas samtidigt den spanska konstnären Dora Garcia (född 1965), som även hon, liksom Abramovic, i sina verk ställer frågor om förhållandet mellan konst och åskådare, mellan tid och rum. "Where do characters go when the story is over?" kallas utställningen som nu nått Stockholm. Cecilia Blomberg har träffat Dora Garcia.
