Momentum for the Entrepreneurial Personality Type (EPT)

For the Entrepreneurial Personality Types out there, the people like you and me, we sometimes have a hard time just being ourselves.  I want you to know that any attempt to be anything other than yourself is just going to cause you more pressure and noise. I spent way too long pretending to be somebody else and hiding who I really was. I can tell you from first-hand experience that every challenge you have has created a massive strength on the other side.   Be true to yourself to create the success you really want.  I want to thank you for being a listener of the Momentum Podcast.  If you'd like to interact a little more with me I have a free Facebook group - Billionaire Code - I'd love for you to join.

Entrepreneurial Personality Types and not like the rest of the world. As momentum based beings, we are constantly driving ourselves forward, forging new territory, and creating new outcomes in the world. While the rest of the world gets up every day and prays that everything stays the same, we get up on a daily basis and asked what can we change, what can we make better, and how can we create even more momentum. When these questions are answered and we see a new outcome we want to create in the world, we going to a major transition. This happens when our market finally clarifies, we see the opportunity we want to pursue, and now we just need to get there. Major transitions are as much a part of our lives as anything else. The challenge for many of us is when we enter a major transition we almost immediately get stuck and can't understand why we aren’t making more progress. We know where we want to go, we even know who we want to help, why is it that we aren’t moving forward towards the destination we can now clearly see? There's a clear path for people like us to do more than survive transitions, you should be able to thrive. As evolutionary hunters, getting through transitions and creating momentum is part of what we were hardwired to do.

The majority of Entrepreneurial Personality Types don’t play to win, they play not to lose. This may sound like the same thing but it isn’t. Unfortunately far too many of us make a commitment to an outcome or a goal and immediately begin de-escalating that commitment. This is clearly playing not to lose and will rarely get you what you want. If you set a goal that you are committed to, prove it to yourself by consistently escalating your commitment. Play to win and you will achieve your goals and so much more.

Entrepreneurial Personality Types create new, change things, improve the world around us, and challenge the status quo. We have an obsession with making things better. We aren't like the rest of the world because we are driven by change rather than stability, progress over perfection and improvement over stagnation. While the world obsesses over budgeting and time management, for EPTs, there is far more to creating success then understanding time and money, there are five currencies that create momentum for Entrepreneurial Personality Types and create our future.

Entrepreneurial Personality Types are driven by the need for momentum and for progress but we are highly reactive to constraint. We are the small subpopulation of humanity that drives our evolution, but we can go from looking talented to disordered in a moment. When we don't understand this reactivity to constraint it can confuse us, cause us to judge ourselves, and hold us in place. When we understand ourselves better, we know we are not motivated by the rest of the world, and we can move forward and accomplish. When we release the judgment the rest of the world imposes on us and realize that we are driven by the need for momentum and contribution, we create the outcomes that we want in the world. Great entrepreneurs throughout history have proven, regardless of the diagnosis or disorder or even physical limitation, we can change the world.
