Hiring a good assistant can almost double your productivity. A good assistant is someone who wants to support you like crazy and that person is going to want clarity as to what that actually means. Your assistant needs to have a documented position with clear expectations to succeed. A lack of explicit expectations equals a lack of confidence in the role. Provide your assistant with clarity and they will charge forward with momentum.
If you're running a business, listen up, building a company on an unstable foundation will leave you exposed and unprotected. The new world of DIY legal services online is exposing entrepreneurs to a host of liabilities. A lot of people don't take care of the legal issues and challenges associated with starting a corporation for fear of the expense, some attorneys out there are taking advantage of the rush of entrepreneurs wanting to start a corporation and are overcharging for their services, avoid them. Find a good attorney, good legal advice is worth your money and it may not cost as much as you might think. I want to make sure you're building only on a solid foundation and will be protected moving forward.
When you think negative thoughts about yourself, who is really talking? Is it you or is it somebody else? For most people, what they were taught about themselves as children, becomes the baggage they carry around through life. As an entrepreneur you are incredibly important to the people on your team, the comments you make influence them and become a part of their inner voice. If you unload your frustration, irritation & anger on your team you shatter their confidence. I tell my team how much confidence I have in them and build them up! You have an incredible impact on those who choose to work with you and if you want to honor the impact you create as an entrepreneur you need to remember that you help create your team's inner voice.
In the deep end of the pool you can't touch the bottom, you must be constantly active, alert & aware. I've always committed that I would be the guy who owns the deep end of the pool. I'm obsessed with hydration, breathing, nutrition and moving my body in the right ways. I don't ever want to lose my intensity and my presence in my company, or my personal life. Why have a daily huddle? What may seem like a waste of precious time to begin with, will actually save you so much time throughout your day. The huddle connects everyone and creates accountability within your team, if you can commit to a daily huddle you'll notice the distractions and breaks in your momentum will go down dramatically. Emily Hirsh is a client of mine, she runs an incredibly successful business and is an incredible Entrepreneur and Huntress. Her business has almost doubled in size since working with me and she attributes a huge amount of that growth to the Charfen Cadence and the systems in our Billionaire Code program.

I don't believe in the concept of 'one size fits all' it never works in real life and when it comes to building a team, it simply doesn't exist. Stop trying to use somebody else's system to build YOUR business.
If you're in a place where you feel stuck and can't create forward progress, stop and ask yourself 'how do I help someone and make a difference?' The easiest way to get back into momentum is to give it to somebody else.
Do you feel guilty when it comes to taking time out for self-care? This is a major hurdle for a lot of entrepreneurs. If you're growing a business chances are you're living an overwhelming life where it seems you can find time to do everything other than taking care of yourself. This is where we need to do some rewiring, the reality is if you're not taking care of yourself, you're not optimized and you're not utilizing one of the greatest pathways to success. 'The Goal' is one of the most important books with regard to building team. There is not a better book on the theory of constraints. In fact, it's one of the first books I recommend to clients when we start working together. Businesses change once their founders read this book.

As entrepreneurs, we should just do what we do in our natural strength, we should move into the position of leadership in our company and stop trying to manage anything because we’re not good at it. Get out of management and ascend to leadership. I can teach you how to stop transactional management where you tell people what to do and shift to transformational leadership. When you step into transformational leadership you will be shocked at how much your team is capable of.

If you couldn't tell, I've obsessed over the question 'How do you make businesses grow?' One of the biggest challenges here is understanding what to focus on during the right times. Working hard can be a great thing. Working hard on the wrong things (even unintentionally) can take you backwards. Have you ever thought to yourself 'I wish I could just go back to doing it all myself.' What happens when focus hurts you?

If a business doesn't create profit, it doesn't stay in business. Most CEO's don't transparently share numbers. If you're not sharing profitability with your team, they're likely making assumptions that aren't close. By having a discussion around numbers, it becomes a non issue.
How can you get into a state of fluid momentum and stay there? In order to create momentum, you need the infrastructure to make it predictable. The fastest way to get into momentum is to give it to someone else.
