We had a great time with our friends trying out Bad Tom’s brews and eating Ohio City Burrito and Pizza Whirl, who provided the food. The episode kicks off with an interview with guest Garth Moore of Bad Tom Smith. Garth talked about who the brewery’s namesake was (yes, he’s a real dude, and yes, he was bad) and why they expanded from Cincinnati to Ohio City. He also discusses their “Brewers Shoot-Out” program, which is a monthly competition for home brewers, as well as other interesting details. Next, our good friend, Hannah Uveges stopped by to chat about her work’s project in partnership with The City Mission called New Horizons! Hannah gives us an update on how they did with their fundraising as well as how the progress of the house is going.
