Am Abend unserer Aufnahme wurde die Playstastion 5 vorgestellt und ihr Design scheint bei den Gamern ganz gut anzukommen. Wir haben das aber komplett verpennt. Stattdessen haben wir uns zurück auf die Schlachtfelder des Ersten Weltkriegs begeben und in Battlefield 1 für Chaos gesorgt. Da Battlefield V, als direkter Nachfolger, viele Spielmechaniken (mehr oder weniger gut) übernommen hat, konnten wir gar nicht anders, als die beiden Teile zu vergleichen. Und eines können wir schon vorweg nehmen: Battlefield V hat den schöneren Dreck.

Following up our Fall preview, we took one of those featured games for a spin: Battlefield 1! We give our thoughts on the beta and what we hope to see in the full game, plus some big news about one of the most intriguing MMOs out there, Eve Online.

It was a fun weekend for both of us. We both got our hands on the Battlefield 1 beta and discuss our thoughts and whether or not it's a must-buy. Tim has a new mobile game to discuss in Steppy Pants. We got a new peek into Horde 3.0 in Gears of War 4 along with a new track from Run the Jewels off of RTJ3. Music Midtown is just a few weeks away, and in that spirit we both discuss the impact of music festivals on our personal playlists and how we approach music in general as a result. Kevin has been debating fitness trackers recently and sheds some light on which way he's leaning including Apple's upcoming presser and the potential Apple Watch 2. We got together for the Clemson Auburn showdown, so naturally, we talk about the opening weekend to College Football and our outlook for the rest of the season. We wrap things up with the best self deprecation we can muster to catch everyone up on some upcoming Extended Plays we have in the works. Home Before Dark hearkens back to a time when you and your friends in the neighborhood were forced inside. Where you discovered a level of brotherhood/sisterhood that could only be forged through playing video games, watching movies, television and discussing the finer things in life over an Orange Lavaburst Hi-C and Bagel Bites. We take the time out to talk about the current games we're playing, movies we've seen recently(new or old) and all the things in between. Today's EpisodeHistory is not our strong suit. That seems to be the reason why Battlefield 1 was considered to be risky. EA thought that younger people did not know we even had a World War 1. Yes, the reason for the war is complex and many complicated reasons for why this war happened. I am glad that DICE convinced EA to make this game. It looks great and may be one of the best games of 2016. I don't know for sure, but, it could be. Another weird announcement was for Sims 4. Maxis released a statement talking about inclusiveness and all the SJW rhetoric. They did not need to do a full-on media blitz for this, but, the news reported it anyways. That does include me. This may not be a popular opinion, but, if you hate there are only two sexes, then blame nature. This whole, you can be anything you want has gotten out of control and transgender is not a gender.
