After taking some much-needed time off before, during, and after our family cruise, I'm finally back behind the mic — and whew, it's been a minute! In this episode, I'm catching you up on life, how hard it can be to get back into your rhythm, and the lessons I learned along the way. This isn't just a vacation recap. It's a reminder that life is happening right now. You can't wait until you lose the weight or have it all together to make memories. From cruise chaos to core memories, I'm sharing how “someday” never comes, why you should take the trip, and what going with the flow taught me about self-acceptance and joy.Plus, I'll share a few of my favorite Amazon outfit finds and cruise must haves that made the trip easier, cuter, and a little more glam (even in mom mode).

Head Start is a federal program that provides child care and early learning for low-income families. But the ongoing government shutdown has caused some programs to close, while others are taking out loans. WWNO's education reporter Aubri Juhasz tells us what this looks like in Louisiana.Three property taxes will be on the ballot in Baton Rouge next week. They're all renewals, but they've been made a bit more complicated by a series of budget shortfalls, one of the largest reasons being the incorporation of breakaway city of St. George, a city that now collects its own property taxes. The tax renewal for the local library system has been getting the most attention, as it fights to keep its funding, while the city-parish aims to skim a little off the top.Report for America corps member Alex Cox helps break down the ballot. Every year for the past four decades, a ship has gone out into the Gulf with a crew of scientists on an expedition to measure how much oxygen is in the water. It's called the hypoxia cruise and it's put on by the National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration. It's an integral component in measuring the “dead zone” to find out how much the lack of oxygen in the water caused by Mississippi River runoff is affecting marine life.Associate professor in LSU's department of oceanography and coastal sciences and chief scientist for NOAA's annual hypoxia cruise, Cassandra Glaspie, tells us more about the 40th voyage. ___Today's episode of Louisiana Considered was hosted by Adam Vos. Scott dives into the unfortunate situation with Showroom Travel and the cruise experiences featuring reality and Challenge talent they mishandled and that are now being cancelled. An awful ordeal that people should begin the process of getting their money back for immediately. Hopefully this provides some added detail and context for those affected or just interested overall. Simply put...if you booked anything Challenge or Reality related through Showroom Travel...get your money back ASAP. If you are just following all of this from afar, try not to have too much fun at other people's expense. A lot of people have been financially affected by this sham of an operation and although you may get a kick out of rooting for certain cast-members (or things associated with them) to fail...this is not the time or the place.

Bert Kreischer celebrates turning 53 the only way he knows how — by spiraling into an existential and hilarious conversation with comedian and cosmic philosopher Duncan Trussell. From tales of Bigfoot and testicular cancer to deep dives on AI, death, main character syndrome, and whether any of us are even real, this episode swings from absurd to profound faster than Bert can take his shirt off. Duncan and Bert talk about everything — mortality, digital immortality, the illusion of self, performative living, and how comedy might be the purest form of chaos magic. Along the way, they share stories about Joe Rogan, Freddy Soto, and the strange spiritual beauty of making people laugh. There's even a surprisingly thoughtful discussion about funerals, cruises, and the philosophy of “carpe diem.” Bert also reveals the truth about his infamous cruise (yes, the vodka shortage is real), his daughter's fandom for Duncan, and why thumbnail culture might have “ruined podcasting.” Duncan, meanwhile, breaks Bert's brain more than once with talk of Roko's Basilisk, reincarnation, and smiling on the way to the gallows — all while making it sound like the funniest TED Talk you've ever heard. If you've ever wondered why we laugh at tragedy, why people live like they're being filmed, or if you might just be an AI simulation of yourself — this is the episode for you. 2 Bears, 1 Cave Ep. 313 https://tomsegura.com/tour https://www.bertbertbert.com/tour https://store.ymhstudios.com Chapters 00:00:00 - Intro 00:00:43 - Death Plans & Bigfoot's Balls 00:03:59 - AI, Immortality & Roko's Basilisk 00:07:02 - Main Character Syndrome 00:14:54 - Comedy, Therapy & Freddie Soto 00:17:10 - Hail Satan & The Disney Adult Disaster 00:22:46 - Loving Your Fans & Bert's Cruise of Chaos 00:33:07 - Performative Life & The Polar Plunge Moment 00:41:50 - Are You Really You? Carmen's got one of her Christmas decorations up. Dave's gonna link up with family for the holidays and that requires a lot of driving. We all woke up an hour later than we are used to yesterday after the time change. Hopefully we will have adjusted by next week when T-Shirts For Turkeys gets started. For those looking to help in some way with the people of Jamaica in the aftermath of Hurricane Melissa, we've linked to a few different relief organizations for you. Carmen...

This week, it's just John and Dayna holding down the fort while Shawn's away — and there's plenty to cover! They start with heartfelt updates on Hurricane Melissa's impact across Jamaica and the Bahamas, sharing what travelers need to know as airports reopen and relief efforts ramp up. Then, it's over to the Greek Isles, where Royal Caribbean just announced its new Royal Beach Club in Santorini — a sustainable seaside retreat blending local culture with that signature Royal vibe. From there, the duo dives into Norwegian Cruise Line's big change to its drink packages at Great Stirrup Cay (spoiler: your island cocktails aren't free anymore) — and why it might not be as bad as it sounds. Finally, John and Dayna explore a surprising shift in the travel landscape: Q4 2025 is packed with last-minute deals. With excess inventory across cruises, Disney vacations, and even Universal Orlando, flexibility might just be the secret to saving big this holiday season. Whether you're dreaming of the Mediterranean, monitoring storm recovery, or hunting for a spontaneous getaway, this “news-lite” episode delivers a quick pulse on what's happening in the travel world.

The Patriotically Correct Radio Show with Stew Peters | #PCRadio
U.S. veteran Nathan Cruz (or Cruise) allegedly called police on Antifa rioters in Poulsbo, WA, but was stalked, raided, and committed to a psychiatric facility without charges or due process, described as Soviet-style tyranny by a "Bolshevik machine." The text frames this as part of a ZOG-occupied regime weaponizing government branches against Americans, orchestrated from Rothschild and Knesset influences, tying in Michelle Obama's "anti-white" narratives, Trump's nuke threats, Israel's "genocide," and a globalist cabal enforcing Noahide laws; calls for fighting back via constitutional remedies. Western civilization has been infected by a parasitic invasion of foreign ideals and values that have been introduced into our culture by strange and morally degenerate people whose goal is world domination. We have been OCCUPIED. Watch the film NOW! https://stewpeters.com/occupied/ Stop the Tricks. $20 off for your first year.
