Epcot or Magic Kingdom? Dole Whip or Mickey pretzel? Castaway Cay or Lighthouse Point? This week Lisa puts Steve and Debbie in the hot seat for a rapid-fire (okay… not-so-rapid-fire) round of "This or That." Two options, gut-instinct answers, and a whole lot of friendly disagreement — with plenty of insider reasoning packed in along the way. Some are total no-brainers, a few get controversial, and Lisa tries (and mostly fails) to predict everyone's answers. It's a fun, easy listen packed with real opinions from travel agents who live and breathe Disney. Play along at home and see how many you match! In This Episode Intro — (0:00) A smaller crew this week — Caitlyn's on baby watch and Sharpie's out — so Lisa runs the game with Steve and Debbie. Resorts, Snacks & Sweets — (11:54) On-property or offsite savings (Debbie would pick All-Star Sports over the Ritz!) • Dole Whip or Mickey pretzel? • Beignets at Port Orleans or churros on Main Street? More Park Favorites — (14:26) Park hopper or one park? • Fireworks or one more ride? • Animal Kingdom or Hollywood Studios? • Genie+ or the old free FastPass+ days? • Haunted Mansion — Florida or the Disneyland Nightmare Before Christmas overlay? • Disney Springs or Downtown Disney? • Villains or princesses? • Monorail or Skyliner? • Adults-only trip or bring the whole family? • Very Merry Christmas Party or Not-So-Scary Halloween? ⚡ Lightning Round — Both Answer at Once! — (27:30) Splash Mountain or Tiana's Bayou Adventure? • Wishes or Happily Ever After? • IllumiNations or Luminous? • The dearly missed Magical Express • Extra Magic Hours or today's early entry + evening hours? • The Great Movie Ride or Runaway Railway? • Maelstrom or Frozen Ever After? • Ellen's Energy Adventure or Guardians Cosmic Rewind? • Paper FastPass or booking in the app? • Soarin' Over California or Around the World? • MaxPass nostalgia • Tower of Terror or Guardians Mission Breakout? • Old or new Test Track? • Main Street Electrical Parade or Paint the Night? In the 304th episode of The Main Street Electrical Podcast, Jenn & Dave have returned from a busy week away - they and the Upon a Star Team spent a day or two in Fort Lauderdale and then a 3 night sailing on the Norwegian Cruise Line Getaway! First up, Jenn and Brady just returned from a night or two from WDW, while Dave spent the afternoon in the parks running around, and is getting ready for the upcoming trip with his kid. Next, a look at Norwegian Cruise Lines - sailing on the Getaway, out of Miami, they take a look at the great - the internet, Fleetwood Mac - and the good - Stirrup Cay, Ice Bar - and the not as good - lack of daily entertainment, the obnoxious atrium, the onboarding - and the downright terrible - the service charges! UGH! A full review of the ship and what to expect when sailing Norwegian!
Austrian authorities are investigating after the river cruise ship MS Anna Katharina struck a quay wall and lock gate at Vienna's Freudenau lock on the Danube on July 24, injuring 14 of the roughly 200 passengers and crew aboard; six people were taken to hospital with back, neck and chest pain and were discharged within hours, and police say a possible technical defect is among the lines of inquiry. In Finland, Meyer Turku completed hull assembly on Royal Caribbean's Hero of the Seas, the 250,800-GT Icon-class ship due to enter service in August 2027 from PortMiami carrying about 5,610 guests at double occupancy, with nine pools and a 50-meter-wide AquaDome. And Holland America Line's Zuiderdam has sailed from Boston on the 35-night Voyage of the Vikings, a 20-destination run through Canada, New England, Greenland, Iceland, the United Kingdom, Scandinavia and the Netherlands that returns to Boston on August 20, ahead of the ship's turn in the line's $500 million-plus Evolution refit program.

The Christopher Nolan celebration march barrels forward as Andy and Ash dive headfirst into the director's colossal new behemoth, The Odyssey — a film so dense, so operatic, and so cosmically wound that even the lads need a breather before tackling its temporal labyrinths. Thankfully, the Cagey Awards return to bring some '90s Cruise clarity, as the boys start charting Tom's evolution from Hollywood's golden boy to full‑tilt blockbuster deity. This week's Short Short Film Film Review spotlights Finding Daddy, a darkly funny, sharply observed short about two sisters confronting their estranged father after discovering his sleazy sugar‑daddy persona online. It's messy, lived‑in, and balances bleak realism with a strangely triumphant edge, as the girls wrestle with the gap between the dad they imagined and the one they actually get. Finally, the Cruise cruise hits choppy waters — and then fully runs aground — as the lads confront Mission: Impossible II. Doves, leather jackets, slow‑motion gunplay, and an entire ocean of Woo‑isms collide with Tom's most chaotic franchise detour. Will Andy and Ash find hidden brilliance beneath the operatic nonsense, or does this mission simply self‑destruct? With the usual blend of silliness, seriousness, and a crucial Scientology Watch check‑in, it's time once again to take Cruise Control.

Cruise travelers are navigating a season of change. Low water on the Danube and Rhine is disrupting peak river cruise sailings, with Avalon Waterways shifting departures from Nuremberg to Passau, AmaWaterways moving guests off the AmaMagna above Budapest, and Viking swapping sister ships to keep itineraries running. On the ocean side, Cunard's Queen Victoria heads to Damen Shiprepair in Rotterdam from October 17 to November 5 for a refit that adds eight new staterooms and refreshes public spaces including the Grand Lobby and Queens Room. And Windstar's newly acquired Star Explorer has arrived at the West Sea shipyard in Viana do Castelo, Portugal, for a conversion that lifts capacity to 224 guests ahead of a December 28 debut.

Some bands reunite because nostalgia sells. Others reunite because they still have something to say. Listening to Haircut 100's new album, Boxing the Compass, it's pretty clear which camp they fall into. This week, Steve welcomes the always charming Nick Heyward back to Stuck in the '80s to talk about the band's first album featuring the original lineup in an astonishing 44 years. Rather than trying to recreate 1982, Haircut 100 has delivered an album that acknowledges the decades that have passed while still carrying the wit, warmth and melodic sparkle that made them one of the most distinctive bands of the early MTV era. Nick talks about reconnecting with his longtime bandmates, finding the creative chemistry that had been dormant for decades, and why making new music together ultimately felt more exciting than simply revisiting the old hits. Steve also offers his thoughts on Boxing the Compass, discussing why it avoids so many of the pitfalls that plague reunion albums. Instead of sounding like a museum piece, it feels alive, adventurous and unmistakably Haircut 100. The conversation also looks ahead to the band's upcoming North American tour alongside Adam Ant and Squeeze—a lineup that feels like someone raided an exceptionally good mixtape from 1982. And for fans planning even farther ahead, Nick shares his excitement about appearing aboard The 80s Cruise in 2027, where Haircut 100 will once again be surrounded by thousands of people who still know every word to "Love Plus One," "Fantastic Day" and "Favourite Shirts (Boy Meets Girl)." Whether you've followed Nick since the days of Pelican West or you're just discovering why Haircut 100 remains one of the smartest, most melodic bands of the decade, this conversation is one you won't want to miss. So pour yourself something tropical, dust off the pastel blazer you swore you'd never wear again, and join us for another trip back to the decade that refuses to fade. Join Us on The 80s Cruise! If talking with Nick makes you wish you could hear Haircut 100 while sailing through the Caribbean... good news—you can! Haircut 100 joins an incredible lineup aboard The 80s Cruise 2027, where you'll enjoy live performances, artist interviews, trivia, themed parties, and enough nostalgia to make your Walkman jealous. When you book, be sure to use our promo code STUCK to receive up to a $250 cabin credit. It's the easiest way to turn your favorite decade into your next vacation. We'll see you onboard! Paso Robles may be best known for bold reds, but some of the region's most thoughtful and exciting work is happening with white wine.In this episode of The Pour, Adam Montiel sits down with Natalie Brown of Willow Creek Wine Co., Dave McGee of Monochrome Wines, and Ryan Pease of Paix Sur Terre for a conversation about the White Wine Invitational and the growing movement behind serious white wine production in Paso Robles.Recorded at SLO CAL Studios in San Luis Obispo, the conversation explores what it takes to become part of the Paso Robles White Wine Guild, why membership is not automatic, and how the group is working to raise expectations for white wine across the region. This is not simply a collection of wineries that happen to make a white wine. The Guild brings together producers with a demonstrated commitment to the category, and prospective members must meet established standards before being considered.White Wine InvitationalThe White Wine Invitational brings together dedicated producers for an event focused entirely on the range, quality, and future of white wine in Paso Robles.Learn more about the Paso Robles White Wine Guild:https://pasorobleswhitewineguild.com/Get tickets to the White Wine Invitational:https://www.exploretock.com/willowcreekwineco/event/592534Join Adam on the DanubeAdam is also heading to Europe in November 2027 for a Danube River cruise with Cork & Cruise, Epoch Estate Wines, and LXV Wine. For cruise details, visit:https://www.adammontiel.comClick the Cruise tab for the complete itinerary and reservation information.Sponsored by:Tin City Distillery: Join the Private Barrel Club and craft your own custom whiskey. He created and produced, ‘The Cork Dorks'. The show was hosted with Adam and his good friend Jeremy West. It was the first of its kind. It began focusing on central coast wineries but as the show grew, so did their ability to travel and meet other winemakers they found everywhere from Napa to Bordeaux that adopted that same Central Coast quality of people willing to share their wines, and their stories. As the area's producer's grew, soon Adam's interview's covered everything from spirits, craft beer, cider, cuisine, hospitality, and more. Fast forward to today, the spirit and enthusiasm cultivated with the award winning show, is reborn as The Pour with Adam Montiel, this time independently, and unfettered by corporate authority leaving it even more free to share the journey of making wine more approachable and fun for everyone. Here, We Taste It. We Spill It. We Leave it All On the Table. This is ‘The Pour' with Adam Montiel.__________Sincere Thanks to those who support The Pour.
