The stunning and versatile actress reflects on how modeling led her to acting via a 1996 magazine cover; the challenge of finding multi-dimensional parts even as she rose to prominence in horror (two 'Final Destination' and three 'Resident Evil' films), comedy ('Legally Blonde') and superhero ('Heroes') projects; and why the part of Angela Norris opposite Billy Bob Thornton in Taylor Sheridan's dramedy series is a dream come true. Adeline Rudolph just made quite the leap as far as video game adaptations go. While things didn't pan out well for Netflix's Resident Evil series, which was canceled after just one season in 2022, Mortal Kombat II is cruising at the box office. In 2021, director Simon McQuoid kicked off a new iteration of Mortal Kombat feature films with a movie focused on Cole Young (Lewis Tan) that also included a slew of other fan-favorite characters like Sonya Blade (Jessica McNamee), Kano (Josh Lawson), Jax (Mehcad Brooks), Liu Kang (Ludi Lin), Kung Lao (Max Huang), and many more. Rudolph didn't just join that ensemble via 2026's Mortal Kombat II. She headlines the film opposite Karl Urban's Johnny Cage. While Johnny Cage's evolution is the focal point of the Earth Realm storyline, Kitana's experience is the heart and soul of the Outworld material and, ultimately, it's Kitana who brings the two sides together. In celebration of Mortal Kombat II's wide release, Rudolph swung by the Collider Ladies Night studio to discuss her journey as an actor thus far, including making her screen debut via The Chilling Adventures of Sabrina and lessons learned from Netflix's Resident Evil that she was able to apply to Mortal Kombat II. She also offered up some behind-the-scenes insight into all of Kitana's biggest moments in the movie, which included the film's final shot — all the main characters joining forces to bring back fallen champions. Another Resident Evil gets the remake treatment with its reveal at Summer Games Fest 2026. Rumours had been rife a week before the show and indeed kicking the presentation off was this 4 minute trailer highlighting Claire's investigation in Paris and subsequent capture. With a slightly new name, Resident Evil Veronica will be a reimagining of this beloved (but poor selling) classic title - and one that is very close to the hearts of a a few us on REP - not all! As such, this announcement has divided the team with some happy to see an early 3D title get that glorious RE Engine overhaul, with others perhaps less than enthusiastic shall we say?!! We pour over the trailer and discuss potential story changes and lore implications as a result. Please enjoy!

Resident Evil Veronica Presentation Impressions with special guest Brittney Brombacher.
Did He-Man come out a few decades too late? I liked the movie, but does it have the power? Summer Games Fest hit Friday afternoon with a bang, Xbox brought the lancer, and immediately stepped on a rake. Meanwhile Nintendo finally revealed the game everyone knew about, as the Ocarina of time returns. Plus a new 21 Jump street is coming, but why the skip to 24?

There's Star Wars, Wolverine, Resident Evil, Monster Hunter, and even Cuphead. And, no joke, that's still just scratching the surface. Not E3 is back and it delivered. What's going on everybody! Thank you for joining us for episode 88! In this episode I talked... a lot. But I'm thankful to Jimi for joining me and talking about our recent pickups and hosting the power hour segment! RE is not a series James has a lot of experience with but it is a series I love and enjoy talking about! With Requiem's release in February the series has been on everyones mind and I thought, what better time to talk about it then after everyone has moved on to other things? XDThanks for checking out this episode and let us know your favorite RE items in your collection, or ones you wish you had in the comments on the episode or join the Discord!
TEXT US YOUR THOUGHTS!Texas-sized life update, and immediately gets roasted for abandoning both the podcast and his controller. The guys dive into Resident Evil 9, where Leon is basically an action hero demigod, and the rest of us are hiding in lockers questioning our life choices. From terrifying stalker enemies that made Jaime quit mid-session to puzzles so easy they might as well come with IKEA instructions, it's a mix of praise, panic, and playful trash talk. Bottom line: great game—unless you value sleep, courage, or emotional stability.Support the show https://discord.gg/3yfGt9gahB

Get ready for another unforgettable adventure through fatherhood, fandom, and hilarious life lessons as Charles and Joe roll the dice and let fate decide the path of this episode of Wise_N_Nerdy. The episode opens with the always entertaining Question of the Week: “Which video game world would be the most difficult to survive in for a month?” What begins as a fun hypothetical quickly turns into a survival challenge worthy of gaming legends. The hosts and community throw around brutal worlds and impossible odds, discussing nightmare scenarios from Duke Nukem and the monster-filled chaos of Resident Evil. Between alien invasions, zombie outbreaks, and impossible odds, Charles and Joe debate whether surviving would come down to skill, luck, or simply accepting defeat immediately. As tradition demands, the dice determine the next destination—and naturally they summon a barrage of Bad Dad Jokes, courtesy of Joe's middle child, Bob. Groans echo across the kingdom as joke after joke lands with the perfect blend of cringe, chaos, and dad-approved comedy. The dice roll again and land on the always insightful “Parliament of Papas” segment. This time, the hosts react to a workplace dilemma involving someone who took PTO specifically to enjoy a newly released video game, only to have an entitled coworker pressure them into giving up their day off so she could visit family instead. Charles and Joe unpack expectations around personal time, respecting boundaries, and why rest, hobbies, and recreation are not somehow less valuable simply because they look different from someone else's priorities. Next, fate leads into the reflective “Daddy, Tell Me A Story” segment, where Charles and Joe discuss those unforgettable moments in life when they realized adults don't actually have everything figured out. Through personal stories and honest reflection, they explore how growing up often means discovering that the people you looked up to were simply doing their best. The conversation becomes an unexpectedly meaningful reminder that uncertainty doesn't make someone incapable—it makes them human. The dice continue their journey into the practical “How Do I…?” segment, where the hosts tackle a challenge that becomes surprisingly difficult as life gets busier: How do you make friends as an adult? Charles and Joe explore ways to build meaningful relationships through shared interests, intentional effort, showing up consistently, and creating space for connection. Whether through hobbies, gaming groups, parenting circles, conventions, or simply reaching out first, the discussion offers encouraging advice for anyone trying to expand their community and deepen friendships. Finally, the episode closes with “What Are You Nerding Out About?” Charles shares his excitement over the Netflix adaptation of Devil May Cry, talking about how thoroughly he's enjoying the action, style, and energy of the series. Meanwhile, Joe reflects on quality family time spent introducing his youngest son to Super Mario World—proving once again that some gaming experiences never lose their magic. Joe also talks about completing his first randomizer experience with The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, discovering a fresh new appreciation for a classic adventure through unexpected twists and discoveries. This episode delivers everything Wise_N_Nerdy fans love: gaming discussions, thoughtful conversations, nostalgic stories, practical advice, and enough dad jokes to cause emotional damage. Whether you're here for the fandom, the fatherhood, or the friendship, there's a seat waiting for you. So gather your party, roll the dice, and don't forget to Find your FAMdom.
