I created a party called "Hella Dope!" where it focuses on R&B dance music. A lot of the music in clubs nowadays is slow trap-like and I just wanted to go to a fun upbeat place of forgotten but dope tunes. This mix is a reflection of that party until the next one happens. Enjoy!

My good friend asked me to make a r&b mix for his engagement party to play in the background. We used to rock in the same dance company where he choreographed to a lot of silky smooth r&b songs and called the style "buttamilk". So in that spirit, made a nice collection of faves to chill to. Originally, I had the idea for this mix at the beginning of the summer but best laid plans and all, it didn't happen till now. This has been a good year for R&B and I wanted to have a mix of my favorites including Mayer Hawethorne, Quadron, MNEK, Jeni Suk, Eric Lau, Jonelle Monae, Daft Punk and of course Robin Thicke.
