Jason started his business in August 2020, and already, he has developed efficient systems and workflows that help Ezy Eyes shine and allow him to focus on being the visionary instead of the bottleneck of his business. IN THIS EPISODE, WE DISCUSS: Just how harmful is blue light? How Jason developed the idea for Ezy EyesThe systems and processes Jason swears by in order to successfully run his business without letting it run himNew and upcoming Ezy Eyes products (HINT: sunnies!)Challenges Black business owners face and how he has overcome those challengesBuilding generational wealth and passing along that "wealthy mindset" to your children ************************************************************************ CONNECT WITH JASON www.EzyEyes.com Instagram: @ezyeyes & @jason_reg Facebook: Ezy Eyes & Jason Reg ************************************************************************ CONNECT WITH ME Instagram: @itsbritney24 Facebook: All Day Britney YouTube: All Day Britney More Black-Owned Business Features **More info on Black Owned Spotlight** ************************************************************************ This episode is part of my initiative to highlight a new Black owned business every month. I connected with Jason through my husband who came home one day, sporting a nice pair of frames and telling me all about his super cool co-worker who had recently started a business. I love the idea of a Black-owned eyewear company, especially one that turns out such a stylish, quality product. So, when I started the Black owned business of the month segment, I knew I wanted to have Jason on. I loved chatting with him about his vision for his business and what his experience has been like so far, so I know ya'll are going to love listening in! ************************************************************************ Did you enjoy this episode? In today's episode I'm sharing two of my favourite tips from my brand new Raise Your Vibe Guide. The first tip is around Your Thoughts and learning how to be in control of your day and what you think. How you react to situations, how you see the world around you & I teach about how what you think about in the present moment impacts what you see in your future. If you look around right now everything that is in your life was once a thought turned into its now physical form. I also discuss the difference between lower/ slower energy and higher/ faster moving energy and how to up level when you are feeling lower/ slower to shift you into the vibration of love and abundance. In the second tip I chat about how to cultivate great energy, spend way less time with energy vampires and learn how to protect your energy. I also reference Cymatics (Cymatic Frequencies) and the groovy visual effect created by using water, sand and other objects to show you frequency + vibration. Watch that HERE (Cymatics vs Science) I'm so excited to tell you that my 8 ways to Raise Your Vibe Guide is available NOW for download and it's absolutely FREE! I've removed the Energy Protocol because I'm going to rework it and turn it into a more in depth mini course, you're gonna love it. Greetings Everyone I hope you had a great week! Your link to register for my FREE 7 Passions Webinar is HERE Your link to your free download is HERE Welcome to the Living Your Best Life in Afrika Podcast and this is episode number 10. Thanks for tuning in. This week we are going to talk about the fear of failure as one of the main reasons Afrikan people, never start the businesses we always dream of starting. There is a lot of information about how not to fail. That information usually comes with titles that say something like, ‘How to Be successful at A or B’. But there is very little information about how to fail and even less information about how to fail whilst Afrikan or how to fail whilst Black. Indeed, failing whilst Black almost feels like an option that cannot apply to us, because of the consequences. We will look at the impact of this and how we can overcome those voices that run around our heads when failure is chasing us. We will look at why we fear failure and how we can use failure to grow in confidence to take the risks and start those businesses. Finally, we will look at how failure can be important to our success and how failure can inspire us to see risk as a learning opportunity.
