Returnees who are now out of managed isolation say it's unlikely people will stick to the rules and self-isolate once they leave quarantine. The government is considering imposing a period of self-isolation at home for travellers after they finish two weeks in a hotel. Marriette Dodd is a teacher who went through managed isolation in June after returning from the United Arab Emirates. Joy Mills and her partner left managed isolation a week and a half ago after moving to Wellington from Melbourne.
This week, hosts Valerie Green & Joy Mills sit down with Mina Keohane. Mina is an accomplished musician and composer. She studied voice & jazz composition at the esteemed Berklee College of Music. Her music has been featured on a variety of commercials, from Hoosier Lottery to Delta Faucet. Her work on the short film "A Drawing" was the Winner for Best Film Score at the Southampton International Film Festival, The Chilliwack Independent Film Festival & Best Soundtrack for the Christian Film Festival. Mina is currently the resident composer and studio manager at Earshot Audiopost in Indianapolis. In addition to her many compositional projects, she is also a heavily demanded instrumentalist, playing for the likes of The Dopacetics, Jeff Kelly & The Graveyard Shift, Melissa Sandullo, and many more.
