Episode 2: Unveiling Spiritual Dimensions with Lesley Joan Lupo Introduction In the second riveting episode of "Interviews With Innocence," host Marla delves deeper into the extraordinary life and work of Lesley Joan Lupo. This episode promises to unravel the mysteries of spirituality, consciousness, and the healing power of intuition through Lesley's transformative experiences and wisdom. Episode Highlights Rekindling Intuitive Wisdom: Early Influences and Education Lesley Joan Lupo's journey began in the bustling city of Chicago, where she was nurtured by a close-knit family. Her academic pursuits took her to Albuquerque, NM, where she excelled in Psychology and Studio Art. It was during this time that Lesley began to reconnect with her intuitive abilities, guided by a diverse array of spiritual mentors, from Native American Medicine people to a West African Shaman and a Wiccan High Priestess. These early influences laid the foundation for her profound understanding of spirituality and consciousness. A Brush with the Beyond: Lesley's Near-Death Experience Lesley's life took a dramatic turn when she narrowly escaped death in a horse stampede. This near-death experience (NDE) became a pivotal moment, propelling her to write "Remember, Every Breath is Precious." The book, celebrated by leading consciousness experts, offers an extraordinary glimpse into the afterlife and underscores the eternal nature of the soul. Lesley's account is not just a tale of survival but a testament to the enduring connection between life and the spiritual realm (Apple) (Interviews with Innocence). Guiding Souls: Lesley's Professional Journey With over two decades of experience, Lesley has become a beacon of light as an Intuitive Therapist at Canyon Ranch Resort in Arizona. In her role as the Spiritual Programs Coordinator, she has mastered various healing modalities, including NLP therapy and Reiki. Lesley's holistic approach has empowered countless individuals to achieve spiritual growth and transformation, solidifying her reputation as a leading intuitive therapist (Interviews with Innocence) (Interviews With Innocence). Empowering Through Education: Workshops and Teaching Lesley's passion for teaching is evident in her workshops focused on relationship enhancement and self-worth. Her signature workshop, "Light Your Path — Cultivate a Life of Self-Worth," is a favorite among many and is set to expand with a workbook and e-course. As an active member of the Tucson IANDS Steering Committee and Vice-Chairman of the Spirituality Leadership Council for Eternea, Lesley continues to influence and inspire. She also shares her insights on the psychology of religion and spirituality through guest lectures at the University of Arizona (Interviews With Innocence) (Interviews with Innocence). Special Insights: Houdini Kids and Healing the Planet In this episode, Lesley discusses the concept of "Houdini Kids," children who return to the earthly realm as spiritual guides and conduits for positive change, enlightenment, and forgiveness. This unique perspective highlights the role of young souls in the broader context of planetary healing and spiritual evolution (Interviews with Innocence). Balancing Life and Passion: Personal Interests Outside her professional endeavors, Lesley is a mosaic and jewelry artist, a meditation enthusiast, and an avid organic gardener and beekeeper. She practices the art of "detachment" by passionately supporting her beloved Chicago sports teams. Residing in Tucson, AZ, Lesley continues to offer her intuitive guidance through her private practice, Light the Path (Apple) (Interviews with Innocence). Conclusion Join us for this captivating episode of "Interviews With Innocence" as we explore Lesley Joan Lupo's incredible journey. Her insights into the spiritual realm, intuitive therapies, and the continuity of consciousness promise to inspire and enlighten. Lesley's story is a profound reminder of the soul's journey and the boundless potential of intuitive healing.

There is no "one-size-fits-all" reintegration model that can ensure success for returning migrants and the communities into which they are re-entering. Returnees have complex, interconnected economic, social, and psychosocial needs that typically cannot be covered by one single service provider. Returning migrants need to be able to access core public services (documentation, work opportunities, and health care) as well as context-specific local initiatives that will endure even after reintegration programs end. Yet while there is a growing acknowledgment that better partnerships between reintegration providers and local actors are needed to expand the variety of support measures available to returnees, there is no consensus as to how these connections (or "referrals") should be organized, what types of services referral partners should deliver (and what support they need to do so), and how outcomes can best be monitored over time. This MPI Europe webinar, releasing a brief, examines how to design referral mechanisms so that returnees receive the core services they need, while also ensuring support is embedded within local contexts (for instance delivered by trusted providers, or calibrated to specific ethnic, cultural, or linguistic needs). Speakers explore questions around how major donors and providers can effectively partner with local actors, striking the right balance between formal reintegration programs (that are often more established but can be removed from local needs) and local initiatives (which may lack capacity but be better placed to cultivate trust with beneficiaries). How can programs be embedded within the fabric of local communities and "professionalized" to ensure that migrants do not fall through the cracks and outcomes are monitored over time?

Julie chose to rebroadcast this episode, because every woman should know about "returnships"!!! Whether you're a current mama, want to be one, or know one, returnships help moms (and caregivers) get back to work after taking time off. As a nonprofit executive, Tami wears many hats and no day is like the next. Her goal is to bring talent back into the workforce and to identify future talent through "returnships." Her organization, Path Forward, has worked with more than 80 employers, including Amazon, Netflix, Walmart, Apple, Verizon, and more.Returnships are like the cousin of internships. For internships, you're a young adult who is in or who has just graduated from college. For returnships, you're an adult who already worked for at least 5 years, took time off to care for a child or an adult, and you're now wanting to return to the workforce. Often, returnees are in their 40s, have an undergraduate degree (or more), and have 10 years of career experience. Returnees are highly educated, skilled, and talented individuals who can make incredible contributions. Up to 40,000 people could have skipped MIQ from November last year if the Government had followed top health advice. A Ministry of Health document shows Dr Caroline McElnay and Dr Ashley Bloomfield agreed MIQ was no longer justified. Now those who paid for quarantine want to be compensated - and an apology for what they say is the needless stress they suffered because of the MIQ system. Tessa Guest reports.

It's hoped Charlotte Bellis' story will bring a government u-turn on returnees self-isolating. The pregnant journalist's story of trying to come home from Afghanistan has garnered international attention, and brought calls for border policy change. Grounded Kiwis spokesperson Alexandra Birt told Mike Hosking many are in similar situations, and New Zealand is one of only a few countries still operating a hotel isolation system. “When you look at the impact it's having on people's lives and how long it's been going on for, we really do need to see change and see it quickly.” LISTEN ABOVESee omnystudio.com/listener for privacy information.
